She was also really great with Maizy when she was sitting for us and thunderstorms rolled through, checking in to see if there was anything she could do to make her more comfortable and ensuring she felt safe. Aryanna always gives very detailed notes after every walk or visit and was incredibly communicative which I appreciated so much. She gave me so much peace of mind during these two months knowing Maizy was in the best hands and I will absolutely work with her again when we are down in Austin next. About: I've been caring for pets since I was eight years old and my family adopted its first dog. Beyond the typical duties of walking, feeding, playing, and training I've performed for my personal pets, I also began walking dogs at shelters when I was in middle school, and continued to throughout college. Since graduating college a year ago, I've been hired to walk and take care of multiple dogs in my neighborhood, which I've done so joyfully. I am also a member of Trusted Housesitters, and have travelled around the country to visit new places while caring for pets. I have a variety of experience and am the biggest dog lover you'll probably ever meet! I currently work virtually, so am incredibly flexible and able to accommodate a variety of situations during my workday. This means I can work on both workdays and weekends. Furthermore, I am generally very flexible and have lots of free time, so chances are I'll be able to make something work! I will care for my client's pet in their home with care and love. I try to walk dogs I care for at least 3 times a day for at least 15-20 minutes - more if the dog is very active. I also make sure to fill the water bowl and feed the pups on time. I will also go outside to the backyard (if present) and play with the dog there. Because I work from home, I am extremely flexible and able to give dogs more attention than they might get at a kennel or other situation. Your pet’s safety will always come first, and I will make sure they are always on a leash, walked only in the areas you designate, and placed in any crate or area you prefer when needed. About: Hello! I am Lauren. I'm in my mid thirties and I am absolutely in love with dogs! After staying with me, your dog will look forward to coming back, running inside my home with a wagging tail next time you bring them back. I spoil your dog as if it's my own... that means endless cuddles and belly rubs, sleeping in bed with me, allowed on the furniture, home baked organic chicken treats (if you permit. If they have a chicken allergy, I can make beef instead). I do not accept puppies or dogs over 20 pounds because I like to make this a safe, low energy place, for more mature small dogs. I especially love senior dogs so you can rest assured that your senior dog is safely and gently cared for in all the ways they need. For Boarding: My husband and I both work from our home and love hosting pets. For dogs, we currently only allow small breed (under 25 lbs) and older dogs, although we will make exceptions for younger dogs if they are low energy. No puppies at this time. Only hosting low-energy small dogs makes for a peaceful and stress-free environment for your dog's stay. We always require a meet and greet beforehand to ensure that your dog is a good fit for the pack. I don't host more than 4 dogs at a time to ensure everyone gets enough attention and gets along (Except for holiday weeks, I may take up to 5). The animals are welcome on our furniture and in bed with us. I love having repeat clients and building a good relationship built on trust with your dog and with you. I love seeing your dog happy about getting dropped off at our home and feeling like it's a fun little vacation for them. When they visit multiple times, they know this is a safe, fun and loving environment for them and run right inside like it's their own house. We have a large, fenced in backyard that the dogs love to sniff around in and give lots of treats (if allowed) and constant snuggles and belly rubs. As a fellow dog mom, I know just how terrifying it is leaving your baby with a stranger, so I'll keep you up to date with lots of photos showing them peacefully sleeping or having some fun time and your nerves will be eased knowing they are comfortable in my home.

About: I love dogs and I am usually first choice for my friends to watch their dogs when they go out of town. Playful dogs are never too much for me and long walks are enjoyable. Who doesn’t want to make a new furry friend! I just went fully remote so I am looking to get out more during the week. I usually take a few walks a day just to move around so adding a dog would be perfect to my routine. I also run a few times a week so if your dog is extra active and needs to burn some energy I’m happy to have them join my run. I believe the owner sets the standard of what they would like me to do. I am okay with crating the dog or leaving them inside and locking up as I leave. I am willing to do whatever works best for the owner and dog. I will always make sure they have food and water as well.
