“Dan was friendly, reliable, and thorough! We booked him just a few days out and he still made the time to come by beforehand to meet the dogs. He was punctual with his visits and gave them nice, long walks. We definitely appreciate him and have already booked with him again!”

“Aryanna is an absolute GEM. I’ve been using Rover for years now and she is hands down one of the best sitters I’ve found on the app. We were in Austin for two months and I was so lucky to find such a trustworthy, reliable, caring, and communicative walker and sitter for my pup Maizy while we were working or out with friends. Maizy requires extra attention on walks as she is quite the sidewalk surfer (i.e., will eat anything and everything she comes across), and Aryanna keep an eagle eye on her at all times, even pulling things out of her mouth when she would try to sneak something. She was also really great with Maizy when she was sitting for us and thunderstorms rolled through, checking in to see if there was anything she could do to make her more comfortable and ensuring she felt safe. Aryanna always gives very detailed notes after every walk or visit and was incredibly communicative which I appreciated so much. She gave me so much peace of mind during these two months knowing Maizy was in the best hands and I will absolutely work with her again when we are down in Austin next. If I could give Aryanna more than 5 stars I would!!!”

About: With 17 years of experience caring for senior dogs and pups who need a little extra support, I offer attentive, compassionate boarding for dogs who would benefit from being the only other pup in a calm, steady environment. I’m confident administering medications and have a long history supporting senior dogs and helping rehabilitate rescue pups. I live in a quiet first‑floor apartment chosen with senior joints in mind, with plenty of nearby green spaces for slow, comfortable walks. Your dog will share the space with my gentle 14‑year‑old chihuahua, Shelby, a former Austin Pets Alive! rescue and heartworm survivor who enjoys meeting respectful new friends. My background includes running my own dog‑walking and house‑sitting service, and I bring steady care and professionalism to every booking. My days move at a stress-free senior‑friendly pace. I’m home the majority of the day, so dogs aren’t left alone for long stretches, and I structure my errands and outings around my guests’ needs. I live in a centrally located, easily accessible gated apartment complex. Your pup would join Shelby and me on relaxed morning and evening walks along the trees and green spaces nearby. Indoors, we have comfy, Shelby‑approved beds in every room, along with hard floors and washable rugs for the occasional senior moment. I keep a toxin‑free home, using simple, pet‑safe products throughout the space. Dogs can also enjoy fresh air on the fully enclosed porch, which is a safe, quiet spot for gentle outdoor time.
“Dale was easy to work with for our last-minute dog walking needs, and he went above and beyond to ensure both my young and senior dog were taken care of. Thanks, Dale!”

“Megan helped us with walking our dog during the day when both of us were gone for work. She took amazing photos and left a detailed report of their time together on the report card. It gave me so much peace of mind as i started my in office job this week!”

“Stephanie walked my dog on a last minute request which I really appreciate. She was great with him and even gave him a treat after his walk. Would recommend her for your pet needs!”

About: I've been caring for pets since I was eight years old and my family adopted its first dog. Beyond the typical duties of walking, feeding, playing, and training I've performed for my personal pets, I also began walking dogs at shelters when I was in middle school, and continued to throughout college. Since graduating college a year ago, I've been hired to walk and take care of multiple dogs in my neighborhood, which I've done so joyfully. I am also a member of Trusted Housesitters, and have travelled around the country to visit new places while caring for pets. I have a variety of experience and am the biggest dog lover you'll probably ever meet! I currently work virtually, so am incredibly flexible and able to accommodate a variety of situations during my workday. This means I can work on both workdays and weekends. Furthermore, I am generally very flexible and have lots of free time, so chances are I'll be able to make something work! I will care for my client's pet in their home with care and love. I try to walk dogs I care for at least 3 times a day for at least 15-20 minutes - more if the dog is very active. I also make sure to fill the water bowl and feed the pups on time. I will also go outside to the backyard (if present) and play with the dog there. Because I work from home, I am extremely flexible and able to give dogs more attention than they might get at a kennel or other situation. Overall, I am extremely conscientious, and what's more, I am a genuine dog lover and am attuned to their needs. I will care for your dog with the utmost attention and love.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of every breed, age, temperament, and healthcare needs since I was 10! I’m very comfortable providing special care for each dog’s needs. I have plenty of available time during the day to spend with your pup! I am flexible and open to requests via message. I’m happy to do long walks and overnight stays at my house. We have a cozy fenced in yard where your beloved baby can enjoy the sun, shade, and time with our small dog, Daisy! Shes very laid back, and loves other dogs.
About: I have had dogs and cats all my life (also fish, hamsters, mice, and a hedgehog). From puppies and kittens to elderly chihuahuas and grouchy senior cats, I have handled it all. I routinely care for pets for my friends and family and am happy to care for your babies too. I'm recently retired so I have a lot of time on my hands! I'm happy to administer medication or cater to your pet in whatever ways they need. I recently retired from my full-time job and will be mostly at home doing a little contract work here and there. I already care for my own five pets (or six if you count the fish) and can easily add yours to the mix. I will listen to what your pet needs and accommodate whatever it is they need/want. I am used to dealing with a diverse group of pets and providing each of them with what they need.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and genuinely love spending time with them. I have had a cat since I was five years old and multiple dogs since I was seven, so caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. Over the years, I have pet sat for neighbors, family, and friends while they were away on long trips, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure their pets felt safe and comfortable at home. I always have both the pet’s and the owner’s best interest in mind, and I truly love helping animals whenever they need care, attention, or patience. I understand that every animal has a different personality, and I always take the time to help them feel comfortable and cared for. I have also volunteered at animal shelters, which has made me even more passionate about giving back and helping animals in any way I can. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or shy and nervous at first, I will always treat them with kindness, patience, and lots of love. I am currently EMT school, studying to get my EMT license so my days consist of reading and studying. Additionally, I am a college athlete so I do try to work out almost every day and live in active lifestyle. I do not currently have a job because I am in EMT school, which means my schedule is extremely flexible and I would be able to bring study materials to your home or take breaks to come take care of the pets anytime! I always prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for every pet in my care. I have a pretty big backyard with a tall fence, so I can easily accommodate your animals and give them space to safely play and explore. I always make sure pets stick to their normal routines as closely as possible so they feel relaxed and secure while their owners are away. I am very patient with new animals and always take the time to learn their personalities, needs, and comfort levels. Your pet’s safety will always come first, and I will make sure they are always on a leash, walked only in the areas you designate, and placed in any crate or area you prefer when needed. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I will always treat them like my own and keep both the pet’s and owner’s best interests in mind.
“Lara has been amazing! She is always on time to take our dogs on walks, and has been very responsive and flexible with any sudden schedule changes. Our dog gets super excited to see her, and I know she’s well taken care of with Lara.”

“Ollie absolutely loves his walks with Madison; he gets so excited when she arrives. Madison is reliable, communicative, and clearly a true dog person. Ollie has some leash reactivity challenges, and I really appreciate the care and attention she takes to keep him engaged, set him up for success, and avoid situations that might trigger a reaction. It’s obvious that she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with and tailors her approach to their individual needs. Don’t overthink it; book a walk with Madison! 🐾”

“I had to have an ankle surgery which left me somewhat immobile for 6+ weeks. So my pups and I desperately needed someone to walk them on daily basis. John was super reliable, communicative and my dogs just loved him. I recommend using John for all you dog care needs.”

About: Hello! I am Lauren. I'm in my mid thirties and I am absolutely in love with dogs! After staying with me, your dog will look forward to coming back, running inside my home with a wagging tail next time you bring them back. I spoil your dog as if it's my own... that means endless cuddles and belly rubs, sleeping in bed with me, allowed on the furniture, home baked organic chicken treats (if you permit. If they have a chicken allergy, I can make beef instead). I do not accept puppies or dogs over 20 pounds because I like to make this a safe, low energy place, for more mature small dogs. I especially love senior dogs so you can rest assured that your senior dog is safely and gently cared for in all the ways they need. For Boarding: My husband and I both work from our home and love hosting pets. For dogs, we currently only allow small breed (under 25 lbs) and older dogs, although we will make exceptions for younger dogs if they are low energy. No puppies at this time. Only hosting low-energy small dogs makes for a peaceful and stress-free environment for your dog's stay. We always require a meet and greet beforehand to ensure that your dog is a good fit for the pack. I don't host more than 4 dogs at a time to ensure everyone gets enough attention and gets along (Except for holiday weeks, I may take up to 5). The animals are welcome on our furniture and in bed with us. I love having repeat clients and building a good relationship built on trust with your dog and with you. I love seeing your dog happy about getting dropped off at our home and feeling like it's a fun little vacation for them. When they visit multiple times, they know this is a safe, fun and loving environment for them and run right inside like it's their own house. We have a large, fenced in backyard that the dogs love to sniff around in and give lots of treats (if allowed) and constant snuggles and belly rubs. As a fellow dog mom, I know just how terrifying it is leaving your baby with a stranger, so I'll keep you up to date with lots of photos showing them peacefully sleeping or having some fun time and your nerves will be eased knowing they are comfortable in my home.
About: I love dogs and I am usually first choice for my friends to watch their dogs when they go out of town. Playful dogs are never too much for me and long walks are enjoyable. Who doesn’t want to make a new furry friend! I just went fully remote so I am looking to get out more during the week. I usually take a few walks a day just to move around so adding a dog would be perfect to my routine. I also run a few times a week so if your dog is extra active and needs to burn some energy I’m happy to have them join my run. I believe the owner sets the standard of what they would like me to do. I am okay with crating the dog or leaving them inside and locking up as I leave. I am willing to do whatever works best for the owner and dog. I will always make sure they have food and water as well.

Kelsey is a lifesaver! I asked for her to come last second, and she really came through. My dog is not always receptive to new people, but he loved Kelsey right away. I really appreciated all the pictures she sent as well as the communication in general (I'm a bit of a helicopter mom lol). Kelsey knew I had a little anxiety about leaving my baby, and she did everything possible to make both me and him comfortable. I would absolutely book her over and over, and I'd recommend her for anyone as well. Thanks, Kelsey!

Laura was friendly, kind, and incredibly patient during her first meeting with our dog. She gave our pup the time and space to acclimate at her own pace, which we really appreciated. Laura also provided thoughtful guidance as we begin establishing care with her as our walker. It’s clear she truly loves dogs, and we’re excited to continue building a strong, trusting relationship with her and our new pup. Thank you again, Laura!

I was incredibly nervous about leaving my two dogs in the care of someone else, as one of them has lots of anxiety issues and can be reactive with people and other dogs. But Dale did incredible and had no issues. He was super patient with my reactive dog and was super mindful about all my concerns. I was so so anxious and left a whole essay of information/instructions he needed to know and he made sure to keep all of that in mind. I will definitely keep him in mind for future sitter needs.
