About: Hello everyone!, my name is Dominique and I have always had a dog in my life. My earliest memories consist of watching and helping my dog give birth and raise 10 puppies when I was 4 years old. Volunteering at the Austin Animal Center as a teenager was a natural step in my love for animals. I walked the small dogs outside for bathroom breaks and playtime while keeping puppies occupied when their crates were getting cleaned. I also walked the large dogs from their suites to the group play area and supervised multiple large dogs’ interactions. My friends have been trusting me to care for their animals and homes for 7 years now, and I have absolutely loved it! My experience ranges from small dogs to big dogs, puppies to seniors, and I have administered oral medication numerous times. The longest I have house sat was a week straight and the most animals I have cared for at a time is 4. I can’t wait to meet you and your babies❤️ I am currently working part time as a babysitter so I have a lot of availability for walks, feeds, hangouts, play, and cuddles! I am available seven days a week for feedings, walks, and daytime care starting at 10:30 am and into the night. For housesitting visits, I can come and stay at your house Friday night, Saturday night, and holidays for overnight care. First of all, I respect, follow, and complete all written or spoken directions on how to care for your pet and take care of your house. A typical sitting appointment for me is being there to provide food/water, frequent bathroom breaks, outside play, inside play (if given permission), a walk around the neighborhood (if requested), and a movie night with unlimited cuddles 🥰. I believe that it’s important to follow your pets’ cues so if they need extra attention, I am there to play or run around and if they need more space/alone time, I give them that time adjust. While we are having nap/down time, I will complete any household task asked of me which can consist of gathering the mail, putting out trash cans, watering the plants, etc. My favorite part of this experience is forming a bond with clients both human and dog so you can feel comfortable leaving your home in a trusted person’s hands!

About: I am a special education teacher and a single mom! I love animals!! I would love to take care of your animals when I am off for breaks and the summer. I have had animals my whole life! About: My wife and I have been pet sitting for 8 years, and are looking forward to meeting new furry friends. We have 1 dog and our 2 kids that have grown up with tons of guest dogs and love to play with them. We allow dogs on our furniture and treat them like family. We have experience administering medications and have hosted several dogs young and old. One of us is home every day so the dogs get lots of attention and outside time. We are very flexible with drop-off and pickup times. We offer in-home dog boarding in our home in South Austin. We have a nice sized yard with 6ft fences around. Our 2 kids who have grown up with dogs are very sweet with them and love to cuddle and play. The dogs are allowed on the furniture and can sleep wherever they are comfortable. We always separate the dogs during feeding time.

About: I've always loved animals. From the time I was able to convince my parents to let me get a pet, I've been caring for dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, chickens, amphibians, and fish. And because that wasn't enough, I found every opportunity I could to be around more animals, from taking riding lessons to doing 4H to petsitting for friends and family to being an AKC junior handler to volunteering at animal rescues. About: From a young age, I started pet-sitting for my neighbors, and continue to do so for my friends as I've gotten older. Pets that I've taken care of include dogs, cats, birds, fish, frogs, rabbits, horses, and even a rooster. During the 2023 holiday season, I found myself in a position alone, and needing to provide medical care to my senior-cat learned how to administer daily SQ fluids, medications, as well as prepping food and medications to administer through a feeding tube every 4 hours. I'm a quick learner and always act accordingly to ensure an animal's well-being. On a very sad note, I lost my fur-daughter in the very early morning right after Christmas in 2023, so I'm taking a break from being a pet owner. When you select me, it makes it all the more special to enjoy the time with your pet(s), including co-sleeping! lol I'm currently starting my own consulting practice & stay in more often than not. so for the most part I am flexible as long as I have an Internet connection. For doggies, I do prefer low-energy ones , & preferably that can go up to 8 hours before needing to be let outside in case I have something going on during the day such as an in-person workshop, but I'm happy to have a quick conversation about their schedule and compare it to mine during the time they'll be in my care, since mine varies on a week-to-week basis. I always make sure to check & double check the the locks when I come & go & will text the owner if I observe something out of the ordinary. When it comes to taking care of pets, I ask the owner if they want the pet to be played with or respect the boundary if they say the pet is stressed around strangers, and just focus on their basic needs of food, water, & whatever else to minimize separation anxiety. In terms of trust, I believe it can be easily lost & not always possible to get back, so I make sure to conduct myself in a way that assures all parties, & results in zero horror stories. More on trust, I worked with children starting in 2019 for 11 years consecutively before moving to Austin, and worked two seasonal Federal Government positions since 2020 & 2021.

She offered to come by and meet our dogs the day prior to coming to walk them which was helpful for me with having someone new come into my home when I'm not there, and our dogs. She was so sweet with our dogs. We've got a smaller old dog and a big young puppy and she was happy to take them both out, which can be a challenge (2 different sizes, ages, and therefore speeds). Michelle arrived on time and took our boys on their walk. She gave me a great update later and is on it as far as communication goes. We'll definitely use her in the future!
