It's important to know about feeding instructions, medications and their schedule, and what makes the animal feel at ease. It can be a bit confusing when the pet's favorite people aren't around for a few days, so any little tips about their normal routine that I can stick to would help.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks and play with them with toys their owners approve of (nothing that can be shredded or swallowed for active chewers, etc) or supervise trips to dog parks. Cats I like to play with them in whatever play style they prefer. Many individual tastes.

10+ years of professional pet care experience- ranging from boarding, to vet tech, to sitting, and walking. The most rewarding part of my work has been helping dogs who are nervous or misunderstood, and I enjoy providing comfort and enrichment. It means a lot to me to earn a pet’s trust, and I have experience with challenging cases that require extra patience and understanding. In my personal life, I have always had dogs as part of my family, and have had two cats who I have learned a lot from. My current cat is Cobra, he’s learned a lot from me, as well- he is fully leash trained and toilet trained.
