“Abigail is so sweet. I have a shy kitty and she sat with her and made her feel comfortable enough to come out of hiding by the end of my trip! All the food/water/liter was full & clean when I got back and I appreciate her !!”

“Judge was so happy to see Ashlea every day. We had great confidence that our furry family member was being cared for while we were away. We recommend Ashlea for those needing a reliable check-in while you're away.”
“Jean is kind and clearly cares about our cats! She is communicative and lets us know if anything is amiss (we had a door lock issue and she was able to get back to the kitties later). We appreciate her!”

“Doray did a fantastic job caring for our cats and rats while we were out of town for three weeks. She was incredibly responsible and communicative, always providing thoughtful updates and plenty of feedback, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She went above and beyond by taking care of extra tasks like bringing in packages and taking out the trash. Our rats especially loved the extra attention she gave them, and she even refreshed their bedding multiple times. It was clear that she treated our pets with the same love and care we give them ourselves. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

“I had a bad experience with a different booking on Rover, and Olivia brought my faith back in this process. She was very flexible when I had to change times, extremely punctual with her visits, and the communication was always there. I will be booking her for future travel plans. A+++!”

“What is a pet parent’s worst fear when going out of town? A health crisis. One of my cats developed an eye infection the night before we left on an international trip. She required eye drops and a cone (she was not my easy cat). I was incredibly stressed to leave, but Samantha was a true godsend. She handled all the changes - the drops, the terrified cat, the alternate setup for food/water due to the cone, hunting down my other cats to ensure the infection didn’t spread - with such positivity and efficiency. She was incredible communicative, sent so many photos, and went above and beyond. I cannot sing her praises enough.”

“Rachel was so thoughtful and patient with our foster cat Jessie, who can be a bit shy with new people. Rachel kept us updated with her progress. Jessie felt comfortable with Rachel towards the end to ask for pets and eat and take treats around her. Hopefully Jessie will be adopted soon but I’m sure she would love to have Rachel’s company again!”

“Paige was a great help when we went to Germany for 10 days. She went above and beyond for our cats, and even took the time to water some of my plants during a heat wave. Would recommend to anyone looking for help watching their fur babies. Thanks again!”
“Rebekah is a saint! She’s gone above and beyond. i’m very grateful! its rare to get so much attention from our girl and she nailed it. we’ll definitely be calling on her for our next vacation 🥰”

About: I am very patient and understanding with dogs and cats and always have a soft spot for animals. I have experience working with older dogs and medication they might need. I am working around a few different aspects such as college schooling, some social gatherings with friends, and overall business. Many weekends I am free and some weekdays I am also free. I do not own any pets but I did watch my friend’s family dogs for many years. I have had a dog and a cat in the past.
“Raven is the BEST. She was soo sweet with my cat while I was away. Raven went above and beyond and it was so comforting to know she was taking such good care of my girl!!”

“Sarah was a great sitter for Winston. I can tell she truly cared for him like he was her own dog. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the updates and pictures she sent my way while I was out of town. Would 100% recommend. Will be using her in the future next time I need a sitter for sure.”

“Lauren was an outstanding pet sitter for our cat. She consistently delivered on all the essentials we asked and showed incredible patience even when our cat would get a spicy. During the busy holiday season, she never bailed on us or our cat, followed every instruction carefully, and maintained a genuinely positive, caring attitude the entire time. I would absolutely recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful pet sitter.”

“Mike is amazing! He’s great at communication - I get updates all day long on the dogs and he also takes them on a ton of walks during the day. I can tell he really loves the dogs and my dogs run to his house from the car every time we arrive. Mike is also super accommodating to my work schedule and other things going on in my personal life - highly recommend!”
“Thorough, accommodating and a good instinct for animals, Nanda was great for keeping our two heeler mixes company with her while we worked over three long days. Great with both our puppy and seven-year-old, she's a relief to have as an option to watch the dogs.”

“Nestor is one of the best dog sitters we’ve ever had. Gomez had a great time hanging out with Nedtor and Boogie. I knew Gomez was in good hands because when I went to drop him off everyday he was wagging his tail and happy to start the day! Thank you Nestor”
“Heather was an absolute gem with our high-energy golden retriever, Luca! She handled his energy perfectly and kept us in the loop with frequent video updates that showed just how happy and settled he was. We especially appreciated how she accommodated our request to keep him off the furniture. We'd book Heather again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!”

“Rachel and Justin are nothing short of phenomenal! Leaving my puppy Queenie in their care was the best decision I made. They treated her like a member of their own family, going above and beyond to ensure she was happy and well-cared for. Their flexibility and warm welcome immediately eased any nerves I had about leaving her with strangers. Queenie not only loved spending time with them but also adored their fur children and their son. I couldn’t be happier with the love and attention they provided. I’ll definitely be choosing Rachel and Justin again in the future for their exceptional care and genuine love for dogs!”

About: My wife and I have been dog sitting for multiple friends over the years and as Rover sitters since August 2020! We both love meeting new furry friends (and their owners) - we have 2 small dogs of our own. We do prefer to sit dogs with low to medium energy levels (to accommodate our elderly dog) and 2 years or older, but we can definitely make exceptions on age and energy level with a Meet & Greet. I work from home, so I’m readily available to keep your pet companion company while you’re away on vacation, business or if your grumpy mother-in-law who doesn’t like dogs is in town. Our home has a wide open floor plan with plenty of room to accommodate the even rowdy (but well mannered), playful ones, and has a very secure backyard. Happy to take your loved one on walks (except during afternoons in summer), on outings to the park and make any other accommodations to make their stay as comfortable and stress free as possible while they’re separated from their 'hooman'.
About: Although new to official pet sitting, I’ve owned and taken care of dogs most of my adult life. I’m a retired yoga teacher with a very playful 9 month old Frenchton. I have lots of time and patience to take care of your pooch. I’m retired so I control my own schedule. I’m available 2-3 days a week. We are pet parents to a lovable Frenchton pup, so it will be important to communicate to make sure our furries are compatible. I have a large fenced in yard with a dog door and a wide open floor plan for the dogs to play inside. I will only ever take on one pet at a time so the only compatibility issues will revolve around matching up with our goofy 9 month old Frenchton.
“Lydia and her dog Jasper are wonderful! I can tell my dog loves her because she leans on her for pets before leaving. My dog comes home popped from playing fetch all day. Overall great experience!”

About: I have cared for dogs all of my life. As a child, we bred Labrador puppies. We were taught to raise them from the beginning with love, care, and discipline. While I've been around dogs and cats all of my life, I also have plenty of experience with other pets like snakes, Guinea pigs, chameleons, pet rats, turtles, lizards, birds and always love meeting a new animal to learn more about their care routine. Boarding/Day Care: We have a highly energetic, one year old puppy. We usually only take males or spayed females as our puppy is not yet neutered. If your dog is easily triggered, it may not be a fit. Yote is friendly, but high energy, so fits well with an energy match. I’m a software engineer, but my schedule is fairly flexible and I work from home. If the request fits into my schedule, I’d love to help care for your pet. I will work with you to make sure that your pet gets plenty of love while you are away, whether it be that you have to work late or are going on vacation.

About: Hello! I am a dog owner and sitter ready to help you care for your family pet. I grew up with golden retrievers and always enjoy spending more time with my four legged friends. I have experience with many dogs, all size, shapes and personalities. I love to walk and hike so your pal will become mine as we get lots of fun exercise when we go on walks. For anyone looking for a day care or boarding, I currently have my best friend Lucky, a 14 year old small dog how enjoys napping, eating treats and going on long strolls. We have a large fully fenced in dog park right out our back door. Chill dogs over 4 years of age are best for in home care to mesh well with my Sr pup. Let me join your team and your dog and I will thank you! Over the past year I have worked with several dog owners to care for their pet while they were traveling. I love to take dogs on long walks, play ball and enjoy quality time playing in the house. My experience includes working with dogs of all sizes from big to small, in all setting including urban apartments and larger homes. I enjoy dogs with all types of personalities, but active dogs and I get along best since I always like to be outside and on the move. Why I love dog sitting I got my first puppy when I was only 8 years old and fell in love at first site. I great up with K.C. my golden retriever and loved every second of it. I have many friends and family with dogs that I love to play with and often sit for. I have lived in small apartments most of my adult life so I haven't had the space to own my own dog. When I care for your dogs the become one of my pals and I enjoy that time just as much as the dog. My experience administering medication Yes, I have worked with several dogs that have needed to take medication or follow a special diet so have no problem keeping them healthy. I work from home from 11 to 6pm. I am available for walks and drop in visit through out the day around my daily schedule, but mornings and evenings are easiest. I have a large apartment with a dog bed on the balcony and a large dog park that is fully fenced in outside which is great for chasing balls and squirrel watching. I am available for frequent potty breaks and a few short walks during the day as needed.
“Super friendly ! I can tell how much they loved my sweet boy, I was honestly so nervous about leaving him. But Fernando and his wife were so kind and reassuring, even Ballas seemed to love them. :) Absolutely will be considering them again if I need another day care day!”

About: I give dogs a calm & predictable experience. I adjust to different personalities and energy levels, whether that’s a relaxed senior dog or a more playful, active pup. I can help with walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding, and I’m flexible when my schedule allows (including last-minute requests!). I’ll follow your instructions closely and keep each dog’s routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable :) **Note: potty-trained is a requirement for care in my home - thanks! My schedule is flexible, so I can help with walks and drop-ins during the week, as well as daycare and boarding. I follow your dog’s routine, whether it’s a quick visit/walk or a longer stay at my house. Aside from the occasional errand or outing, I'm home most of the day (weekdays and weekends) and spend a lot of time with the dogs in my care. My dog, Emory, is very easygoing and gets along well with both calm and playful dogs. Dogs have access to a fenced yard and doggie door, and I'm available to provide potty breaks as often as needed for dogs who can't use it. They're also welcome to get on the furniture! For walks and drop-ins, I treat your home with the same respect I would my own and make sure everything is secure when I leave. I provide regular updates and follow your dog's routine and any specific instructions to help you and your dogs feel comfortable while you're away.

“Riley is the best and my pup Sage loves her walks with him. It’s so nice to come home to a happy and calm dog. I have no doubt that she is always taken such good care of by Riley. He’s gone above by bringing in packages on my doorstep, picking up her dog toys, etc. I love getting to see all the pictures and updates of my fur baby while I’m at work.”

About: Hello everyone!, my name is Dominique and I have always had a dog in my life. My earliest memories consist of watching and helping my dog give birth and raise 10 puppies when I was 4 years old. Volunteering at the Austin Animal Center as a teenager was a natural step in my love for animals. I walked the small dogs outside for bathroom breaks and playtime while keeping puppies occupied when their crates were getting cleaned. I also walked the large dogs from their suites to the group play area and supervised multiple large dogs’ interactions. My friends have been trusting me to care for their animals and homes for 7 years now, and I have absolutely loved it! My experience ranges from small dogs to big dogs, puppies to seniors, and I have administered oral medication numerous times. The longest I have house sat was a week straight and the most animals I have cared for at a time is 4. I can’t wait to meet you and your babies❤️ I am currently working part time as a babysitter so I have a lot of availability for walks, feeds, hangouts, play, and cuddles! I am available seven days a week for feedings, walks, and daytime care starting at 10:30 am and into the night. For housesitting visits, I can come and stay at your house Friday night, Saturday night, and holidays for overnight care. First of all, I respect, follow, and complete all written or spoken directions on how to care for your pet and take care of your house. A typical sitting appointment for me is being there to provide food/water, frequent bathroom breaks, outside play, inside play (if given permission), a walk around the neighborhood (if requested), and a movie night with unlimited cuddles 🥰. I believe that it’s important to follow your pets’ cues so if they need extra attention, I am there to play or run around and if they need more space/alone time, I give them that time adjust. While we are having nap/down time, I will complete any household task asked of me which can consist of gathering the mail, putting out trash cans, watering the plants, etc. My favorite part of this experience is forming a bond with clients both human and dog so you can feel comfortable leaving your home in a trusted person’s hands!
“Puanani was a wonderful caretaker and friend to my furry family! Nice long walks, great details, photos and attention was given to my dog and it made me feel SO much more comfortable being away from home. I will definitely book her services again!”

About: Hi I’m Sarah! Dog mama to Maci (Siberian Husky) and Koa (an Australian Shepherd). When I’m not spending time with my family, you can find me hiking, kayaking, or in a training class with my young pup, Koa. There has never been a time in my life that I haven’t had a pet to care for - from dogs to cats to bunnies. As a pet owner who has had to travel from time to time without my animals, I know how hard it can be to leave your beloved fur baby behind for a trip or even just a long day of work. I am passionate about bringing you and your pet peace and comfort during the occasional times apart. I have experience with all ages of dogs from 8 weeks old to seniors and am happy to be available for drop in visits (whether routine or on occasion) as well as walks. My goal as a pet sitter is to bring peace of mind to you, and lots of pets and playtime to your fur babies. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends soon! I am currently working part time from my home in southwest Austin, making my days open and flexible. With notice I am able to provide care any day of the week. My pets are a part of our family so we spend a lot of time snuggling inside. That said, they’re full of energy so I am no stranger to a good game of fetch in the yard or a long walk. I am comfortable feeding, crating, walking, and playing with your pet as well as giving them lots of affection.
About: I have four dogs at home, a cat, and two tarantulas! Thus, i’ve had plenty of pet care-taking experience since I was a child! I also have a cat, which goes the same for her too :) I can also take care of exotic pets, as I do so for my two tarantulas. I’m available to take care of your pets anytime besides Monday nights from 5:30-6:30pm. Otherwise, your convenience is my first priority. I can do overnight and even check on your pets in the early morning. My care is crafted around your time and needs. I prioritize safety, routine, and comfort in both my home and clients’ homes. Whatever you tell me to do, I’ll do it
About: With 17 years of experience caring for senior dogs and pups who need a little extra support, I offer attentive, compassionate boarding for dogs who would benefit from being the only other pup in a calm, steady environment. I’m confident administering medications and have a long history supporting senior dogs and helping rehabilitate rescue pups. I live in a quiet first‑floor apartment chosen with senior joints in mind, with plenty of nearby green spaces for slow, comfortable walks. Your dog will share the space with my gentle 14‑year‑old chihuahua, Shelby, a former Austin Pets Alive! rescue and heartworm survivor who enjoys meeting respectful new friends. My background includes running my own dog‑walking and house‑sitting service, and I bring steady care and professionalism to every booking. My days move at a stress-free senior‑friendly pace. I’m home the majority of the day, so dogs aren’t left alone for long stretches, and I structure my errands and outings around my guests’ needs. I live in a centrally located, easily accessible gated apartment complex. Your pup would join Shelby and me on relaxed morning and evening walks along the trees and green spaces nearby. Indoors, we have comfy, Shelby‑approved beds in every room, along with hard floors and washable rugs for the occasional senior moment. I keep a toxin‑free home, using simple, pet‑safe products throughout the space. Dogs can also enjoy fresh air on the fully enclosed porch, which is a safe, quiet spot for gentle outdoor time.

We have a secure backyard for regular outdoor time, potty breaks, and safe, supervised play throughout the day. We also have a dedicated dog room that is just for them. It's a comfortable, quiet space where dogs can relax, decompress, or have separation if needed. Because we have two resident dogs (DJ Dewey and Grampaw Milton), safety and compatibility are extremely important to us. We only accept dogs who are friendly, non-aggressive, and do well in a shared home environment.
“Angie was amazing to our boy Finn. They really loved him while we were on an extended trip. Angie was great at sending pictures of Finn and he really settled in with their family. We would definitely stay with Angie and her family again, and would highly recommend her to others.”

“My dog had tons of fun with Emma! They went on walks everyday, sometimes multiple times a day and Emma sends as many pictures and updates as you want! Totally recommend Emma and will use her services again!”

“Kelsey has watched my dogs multiple times and she is really loving and caring to our dogs, and she’s very reliable and trustworthy! She’s our go to sitter and I believe your dog will be in great hands. Kelsey was a lifesaver! It was short notice and I hadn't found anyone to dog/cat sit. She stayed in contact during my whole trip. Sent pics. Everything was great. She left my home clean and just like I had left it. Will definitely be using her again!! Kelsey was amazing! She was very friendly, communicative and kept me up to date on how my pup was doing the entire time. I will absolutely be booking again with her!”
“Mike always takes such great care of our pup, Rip. Rip can be reactive and high maintenance at times, but Mike handles him so well with patience and care. He makes sure Rip gets plenty of exercise with long walks and endless games of fetch. Rip absolutely loves his time with him!”

“Autumn was the absolute best dog sitter for our fur baby Dotty! She sent many pictures and let us know how she was doing every day! We are so grateful for her and her family taking great care of our gal!”

“We had a last minute trip pop up and needed a place that would take care of our 80lb 11 month old puppy. Chris was quick to respond to my Rover request, arranged a same day meet and greet, and was able to watch our pup for 3 days with a flexible drop off and pick up schedule. He took great care of him and sent us videos and check ins over the app which was great. All went well and Finn got some great social play time. We will definitely use Chris again and would recommend him to others!”
