About: I may be new to professional pet care, but I truly enjoy spending time with animals. Over the past year, I have helped care for family members' pets by walking them, feeding them, giving them attention, and making sure they felt safe and comfortable. I understand that every pet has a different personality, and I always try to be patient, gentle, and attentive to their needs. I am responsible, dependable, and committed to following your care instructions carefully so your pet receives the best possible care. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I have availability on many weekdays as well as weekends, and I will do my best to accommodate your schedule. I enjoy being active, so taking dogs on walks fits naturally into my routine. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding walking routes, feeding, medications if needed, and any special preferences. During walks, I pay close attention to my surroundings and make sure pets stay safe and secure at all times. I believe in treating every pet with kindness, patience, and respect, just as if they were my own.
About: I have been blessed with many wonderful pets in my life, both big and small! I currently own a horse, Felix. Unfortunately, my dog Alfie passed at 17 years old in January. Although I am not quite ready for a new in home pet of my own, I'd love to help you with yours! I have owned both cats and dogs through my life from puppy/kitten stage to senior life. I have experience with watching dogs, cats, and horses. I have no problem administering medication and I'm comfortable with all ages, sizes, and breeds. 95% of my job is working from home, because of that I am quite flexible in my schedule. On occasion, I do travel for work/personal but will do my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date. My home is pet free, which means your pup will get my full attention! I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. I have a nice sized patio that is fully covered. The area has a lot of green space and sidewalks perfect for a long stroll. There is also a dog park available if your dog particularly enjoys being social. I allow dogs on my furniture and bed, however have no issue with sticking to the rules if that is not part of your daily routine.
About: I've taken care of my own dogs since they were puppies up to their now senior age of 10, so I know how to care for dogs across all ages. But not only my own. I've helped care for people with senior dogs, volunteered at pet shelters, and generally tried to make the lives of as many pets as I can happier! I love pets (especially dogs), so the more time I can spend with our four-legged friends, the better! The only thing preventing me from spending time with other people's pets is taking care of my own two dogs :) In your house, I would care for your dog as if it were my own! My dogs can sometimes be a bit rowdy, so I don't often have other dogs stay at my place for long periods of time.
About: I have years of experience caring for all types of dogs and truly love every moment of it. From playful pups to senior dogs, I’ve welcomed many into my home and treated them like family. I am currently working from home and I will be home with your pets almost all day! I have a fenced in yard, and love going on evening walks! Make sure they are played with, well fed, and sleep either in a dog bed/crate/or on the end of the bed if that’s what you prefer!

About: I have experience taking care of my parents’ cats for seven years. I also have dog sat for friends over the past couple of years. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I am able to do multiple walks a day for your pet. I can also board pets or come to them any day of the week. I’m flexible to whatever your preferences are and can make accommodations as needed! I live in a three bedroom apartment with a decent amount of space, however I do not have a yard. There’s a dog park right outside of my unit that’s really convenient. I usually take dogs on a walk around my apartment complex 3 times a day (or more if needed) and then do at least 1 longer walk daily at the park near me. Completely flexible to whatever routine you and your pet already have in place!

About: Im back! What can I say, I will love your pet like it was mine. Friends and family often ask me to look after their fur babies when they are away because they know they will be nurtured , loved and watched over. Pet sitting was one of my first gigs as a kid and sitting as an adult brings me wholesome joy. My day is pretty flexible because I work from home all but two days a week. My evenings and weekends are free. I have time in my day for walks, check ins and whatever else for your fur children. I prefer caring for your pet in your home. Familiarity is important for your pet. I can follow any rules or preference that you have for your fur baby. I will treat your space with respect and clean up behind myself and your fur baby.
“Professional and kind. Took amazing care of my senior dog while I was away. It was a last minute booking and she accommodated my request. I highly recommend her and will use her again.”

“Jillian did a wonderful job with our pup. She took him for a walk, played fetch with him, and even did some tricks for treats with him. We are so grateful that she was available to take care of him and I would definitely recommend her. Bonus: she takes awesome pictures. Our pup looked like he was having a blast.”

About: As a lifelong cat owner, I have experience caring for cats of all ages, from bottle babies and energetic kittens to senior cats over 15 years old. I’ve also cared for cats with special medical and behavioral needs, including diabetes and age-related cognitive challenges. I understand that every cat has a unique personality and comfort level, and I take the time to build trust at their pace. Whether your cat enjoys lots of playtime and attention or prefers a quieter environment, I’ll make sure they receive personalized care, fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and plenty of affection while maintaining their normal routine. My goal is to help your cat feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I have time throughout the week to provide attentive care for your pets. My availability varies depending on classes and work, but I am available for drop-in visits, walks, and pet sitting throughout the week and on weekends. “Ryan is our go-to walker for our Blue Heeler pup! Nova comes back tired and happy after her walks with Ryan and seems to genuinely enjoy the time out with him. He’s always on time, sends pictures of the walks and is super responsive with his communication. I am grateful to have found him on Rover and will definitely be booking walks and sits with him in the future!”

About: I have 2 pups of my own so I have all of the skills needed to take care of any dog including the younger ones! I make sure the pups are entertained for the entirety of my visit! My job is work from home, so I can watch your pets any day of the week, all day! I can take breaks to take your dog on a couple walks throughout the day if needed. I love taking the dogs on walks or running around the backyard with them! I try to get them as much outside time as possible while I’m there.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child and currently have three in my home! Dogs are family to me and treating them like so if my number one priority! I work either mornings or nights, usually going in at 10 am or 5 pm. This means walks are usually in the morning or in the early evening. We are early risers so our days usually start at 7 am unless it’s a day off them the pups and I sleep in a little. Dinner is usually at 4 to give them a chance to potty before I go into work. We have a fenced in yard with a doggie door so when we are home in the day time they are free to roam and go potty as they please. Our cat is extremely friendly with dogs but we have one bedroom gated off as a sanctuary for her. Her litter box is also in a separate closet with an even smaller cat door so only she can access it. I live with a roommate who also has lots of experience with dogs so and although I will be the one taking full care of your baby you can trust that this is a safe place for them.
About: Hi! I’m passionate about providing safe, loving, and reliable care for pets of all kinds! I have 6 years of experience working in a veterinary office, where I gained valuable knowledge about animal health, behavior, medication administration, and recognizing signs that a pet may need extra attention. This experience has helped me become comfortable caring for pets with a variety of needs and personalities. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your fur-babies. I currently have two dogs and two cats of my own, so I know firsthand the patience, attention, and love that animals deserve every day. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, or specialized care, I will treat them as if they were my own. My goal is to provide peace of mind while you're away and ensure your pet feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for in my hands, so be on the look out for daily pictures and updates. :) I currently work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets throughout the day. Because I’m not commuting to an office, I’m able to maintain your pet’s normal routine, provide regular potty breaks, walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and companionship, and ensure they aren’t left alone for long periods of time. When caring for your pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I will provide plenty of love, attention, exercise, playtime, fresh food and water, and any medications or special care they may need. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, interactive play, cuddle time, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I'll tailor my care to their individual needs and personality. I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. I will treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, tidy, and secure throughout my stay. I'll clean up after your pets, maintain their feeding and living areas, and leave your home in the same condition, or better, than I found it. You can feel confident knowing that both your pets and your home will be cared for with professionalism, attention, and respect while you're away.

5 stars isn’t enough! Emma went above and beyond caring for our senior dog and two cats while we were away. She sent detailed updates after each visit with lots of photos, gave all of our pets so much love and attention, and treated them like they were her own. She took extra time with our dog at the dog park, played with our cats, and kept us informed throughout the trip. It was such a relief knowing our pets were in such caring hands. Her communication was outstanding, and it was obvious how much she genuinely enjoyed spending time with them. We came home to happy, relaxed pets and a home that was clearly well cared for while we were away. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We would book her again in a heartbeat! ❤️

Ellie was absolutely incredible! She went above and beyond in every way—dependable, communicative, and clearly so caring with my pet. I felt completely at ease the entire time. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like their own, Ellie is the one. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Laura was available to book about a week in advance, and was so thorough and knowledgeable. She was very reassuring and would always let me know everything was appropriately locked when she left. I came back to two happy dogs and I will definitely be using Laura again for my next trip.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
