She offered to come by and meet our dogs the day prior to coming to walk them which was helpful for me with having someone new come into my home when I'm not there, and our dogs. She was so sweet with our dogs. We've got a smaller old dog and a big young puppy and she was happy to take them both out, which can be a challenge (2 different sizes, ages, and therefore speeds). About: I’ve taken care of various dog breeds but never trained one. Family always had cats but animals, especially dogs have always been my passion. Love to go on long walks but don’t always feel safe as a young woman, would rather have a dog by my side. Also in the market for a dog and would like to explore potential breeds/experience. I currently work remotely and don’t have a set schedule. Every day looks different therefore, so my availability is very open when it comes to pet care. I live in an apartment/don’t have a yard so I would come to your home. I can take your dogs out to get exercise, simply let them out, or stay full time. Cats I’m able to drop by or stay full time, and do basic cat care tasks. Enrichment/playtime included.

About: Hi there! Having grown up with two veterinarian parents, I can't remember a time when animals weren't a huge part of my life. I lived in a household where any homeless animal we found became ours. Whether it was a goat, rat, or kitten, we nurtured and loved them equally and deeply. I currently live in Austin and have the sweetest dogs (Tupelo, Frida) and cat (Basil) of my own. An average day is typically spent revolved around my critters. My home has a fenced in yard and lots of area to romp- it's pretty much animal heaven if you ask me!! I can only take on 2 max plus my own so you won't have to worry about it being like a boarding facility. Animals are allowed on beds and couches around here. Hope to hear from you soon! Let me know if you have any questions, and I will do my very best to answer them. I work from home and run errands from time to time. I won't be gone for any more than 4 hours at a time, max. We go for two 30 minute walks at Onion Creek Park, one in the morning and one in the evening. Safety is my number one priority. I treat your pups like family. My parents are veterinarians so should an emergency arise, I have two people on all at all times! I've never had an issue, though ;)

About: ● I’ve spent 12+ years caring for my rescue dog, Emory, along with lots of other dogs with different personalities, energy levels, routines, ages, and care needs. ● I’m comfortable following detailed feeding and medication schedules, accommodating special diets or physical limitations, and adjusting routines based on behavior, age, energy level, mobility, & medical needs. ● One of my biggest strengths is reading dog behavior and body language. Owners often tell me they’re surprised by how quickly their more reserved dogs warm up to me and Emory. I give shy, anxious, or cautious dogs space and time to adjust without forcing interaction or socialization. ● I watch out for changes in behavior, appetite, potty breaks, energy, or comfort level and will always reach out to you about anything unusual or important! ● I try to give dogs the kind of care I’d want for my own dog - which is paying attention to what they need and giving them a calm, predictable place where they can settle in and feel comfy while their owner is away. ● Boarding is the main service I offer, plus limited weekday walks and drop-ins. I have a flexible schedule and am home the large majority of the day. ● Because I’m home most of the day, dogs get frequent potty breaks, attention, outdoor time, and company. I do still leave for errands or plans here and there, so dogs should be comfortable being alone for up to 3 hours as needed, and on longer stays, be able to settle on their own for a longer stretch occasionally. ● While our house is on the low key side, dogs don't have to be low energy! I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, and more activity for dogs that need it. The best fit are dogs that also have an “off switch” and can settle for parts of the day. **I’m often open to last-minute requests when my schedule allows! ● ***For dogs that we host in our home and yard, I ask that they be current on flea and tick prevention before boarding*** ● Dogs have access to a fully fenced yard and a doggie door. Dogs who understand how to use it can have free access to the yard, and if they don’t, I can still let them out regularly throughout the day. ● Emory is my 8 y/o rescue and the sweetest, friendliest boy. He’s very used to sharing his space with other dogs and is calm, independent, and pretty unbothered by most things. He’s happy to play a little, coexist quietly, and knows when to give another dog space. ● With very energetic dogs or puppies, Emory may communicate normal boundaries if they keep trying to engage him after he’s had enough, but he doesn’t seek out conflict or escalate interactions. ● Crates are welcome if they’re already a normal part of your dog’s routine and they are comfortable to settle crated. I prefer not to introduce crating during a stay to a dog who isn’t already used to it or becomes very distressed when confined. ● While I’m home most of the time, I don’t provide constant 24/7 supervision, so dogs should be comfortable and safe on their own for short periods, either loose in the house (or comfortably crated while left alone for longer bursts if that’s part of their normal routine). ● Dogs are welcome on the furniture and to sleep wherever they’re comfortable throughout the house. Smaller dogs are welcome in our bed if they can shift or scoot over as needed, while larger dogs should ideally be comfortable sleeping on a dog bed on the floor, the couch, or another cozy spot nearby. We also have a spare dog bed we can set out. ● My home is best for dogs without destructive chewing, resource guarding, aggression, repeated escape attempts, or severe anxiety behaviors that make it difficult or unsafe for them to be left unsupervised. That said, I'm happy to clean up destroyed dog toys and stuffing lol!

About: I have been petsitting since my days when I was a dog bather and really enjoy the personalities of pets. They make me so happy! I am self employed and have been trying to get back into my routine after Quarantine. I love taking regular walks, so if I could take your furry family with me, even better! I live in an apt so I would only be able to care for pets within your home. Each household is different, and I adhere to each individuals set of rules for their pets - as we know routine is good! PLEASE NOTE: If I am staying overnight, your pet will be fed breakfast/ taken out but my charge is done by 9am - if I am having to stay thru until lunch, then you will need to choose $30/ dog walking fee (or equivalent of a half day stay) If I am staying longer (until they need dinner the next day - please book a full overnight or 2 walks.) I am available for any clarification, just ask! Thanks. It helps to know your pets routines, if any, as they usually like structure and I am more than happy to accommodate your pets' needs.

About: My name is Abigail, and I have two dachshunds names Coco and Addie. Addie is 13 years old and Coco is 12. I love my dogs and I know how stressful it feels like to have to leave your babies in someone else's care. I hope to help alleviate some of that stress and to have a good time with your pup! I am available 7 days a week for drop in visits and dog walks or trips to the park. I can also help with medication and wound care on a case by case basis. Please reach out to me if that is something you need help with! While your dogs are with me, I will give them lots of belly rubs and ear scratches, and we will have fun playing together. I am typically available any time on weekdays for drop in visits and walks, and am available 9am-9pm on weekends for drop in visits and walks. About: Im back! What can I say, I will love your pet like it was mine. Friends and family often ask me to look after their fur babies when they are away because they know they will be nurtured , loved and watched over. Pet sitting was one of my first gigs as a kid and sitting as an adult brings me wholesome joy. My day is pretty flexible because I work from home all but two days a week. My evenings and weekends are free. I have time in my day for walks, check ins and whatever else for your fur children. I prefer caring for your pet in your home. Familiarity is important for your pet. I can follow any rules or preference that you have for your fur baby. I will treat your space with respect and clean up behind myself and your fur baby.
