About: Looking to care for your fur babies to fund my wedding in 2026! I am a dog mom of 4 dogs; Uzi (Pitbull), Dash (Corgi Mix), Blaize (Chihuahua), Nala (Shiba). I love all my puppers and would provide the same amount of love to your puppers. All of my dogs are friendly but if you are looking for me to board your dog, please let me know as I can stay at my friends house without my dogs. I work from home on Monday and Friday. I am in office from Tuesday to Thursday. My hours are very flexible which includes weekends. Message me for my availabilities! I am very attentive to dogs! I love to play with them if it’s outside playing fetch or inside playing with toys. I love to take my dogs on walks because it allows me to reach my daily step goals.

About: Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood or a drop-in visit while you’re away, I treat every pet like family. With experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels, I understand how important it is to keep your pet safe, happy, and comfortable. During walks, I make sure your dog gets the exercise and mental stimulation they need, and on drop-in visits, I’m happy to provide potty breaks, playtime, feeding, and cuddles — all tailored to your pet’s routine. You’ll always receive updates, photos, and peace of mind. Let me know how I can support you and your furry friend! I have a hybrid and flexible work schedule that allows me to meet the needs of your dog. Happy to support you and your pup in any way I can! I treat your home with the same respect and care as I do your pet. I ensure doors are locked, food and water areas are clean, and any messes (like accidents or spills) are taken care of. I’m happy to water plants, bring in packages, or follow any special instructions you leave.

“Parker was great with Hank! Showed up every day on time and the entire process was seamless so I never had to worry. I’ll definitely be using Parker for future walks and I highly recommend to other owners. Thanks Parker!”

About: I was raised to have a reverence for all nature by ecologist parents. My special love in the animal world is cats, but I've also owned or cared for dogs, frogs, Madagascan hissing cockroaches, fish, goats, guinea pigs, and more! (I did eventually become allergic to guinea pigs, however.) I love animals, and they love me! As a school teacher, I currently have a wide open schedule while we are out of school for the summer. Once school starts up again in August, I'll mostly be available on weekends and after 5pm. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. During drop-in visits and dog walks, I focus on building trust through calm, attentive care and reliable routines. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medication, potty breaks, and playtime, and I pay close attention to your pet’s body language and mood to make sure they feel secure and happy while you're away. For dog walks, I use secure leashing techniques, avoid unsafe or overly crowded areas, and adjust the pace based on your dog’s energy level and needs. During drop-in visits, I maintain a calm, respectful presence in your home, giving your pet the attention, affection, or quiet time they need to feel at ease. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for every step of the way.

About: I can administer medicine, liquid and pills. I work from home, so definitely able to give your pet the attention and care it needs and wants! It’s pretty much all integrated within my own routine. I clean the litter box every day, I have alerts for nail trimmings, flea meds, etc. A cat to keep your cat company, a very cleaned, well-maintained apartment with enrichment toys and a balcony for fresh air (if your pet is allowed).

“Maddie was FANTASTIC! Our situation required last minute services and was able to easily communicate with her and work on a schedule that worked! Her detailed communication and pictures made us feel very comfortable with her taking care of our dog! Will definitely be using her again!!”

“Sarah is fantastic! Highly recommend her. She helped me last minute due to a family emergency. I was so thankful for her. She took such great care of my pup: sent me photos, messages, and care information. I didn’t have to worry about him or my home while I was away. Very sweet and caring, responsible, and just wonderful. Thank you Sarah!”

About: Professional experience: I’ve gone through many different trainings and mentorships volunteering at the Austin Animal Shelter, where I walk 4-6 dogs in 2 hours. All dogs have a variety of behaviors that we pay attention to and act accordingly. Strong pullers, jumpers, high prey drives, reactivity, etc. Volunteering at AAC has given me plenty of experience, learning how to keep a level head and how to create a safe walking environment that sets any dog up, anxious, reactive, etc., for success and a pleasant walk. Personal experience: I grew up around large dogs in my home, my first family dog was a Labrador, and since then the family has only grown. I’ve lived and taken care of pitbulls, great pyrenees, chihuahuas, french bull dogs, etc. I’ve taken care of elderly pets before, and administered IVs and handled daily medication needs for my own sick pup. I am a preschool music teacher and private music teacher, I work part time but my availability varies from M-Fri 9:00-2:30. With the hot weather, I can bring them to my own shaded backyard (East Austin) for playtime if you would prefer them just be outside instead of walking in the hot sun. I have a fenced yard with two friendly dogs (husky and a mix) that I can keep inside (I have curtains if your dog would prefer not to see them). Also I live near a trail that is mostly shaded that I can take your dog on, or take whatever trail you prefer I do! I definitely am always aware of the summer heat and your pups paws, so can help with putting on booties or any creams/waxes for their paws. Inside the home I can play tug of war, create interactive games with treats, practice commands, or just simply pet and cuddle!

“So great!! I needed someone to watch Gunner last minute & Abigail was so helpful & communicative. My dog needs medication 2x daily & Abigail made sure it got done! He really enjoyed hanging out based on all the pictures. If you need someone trustworthy & reliable, Abigail checks all the boxes!!”

About: Hello, my name is Julia and I have been dog/cat sitting for my family & friends for 7+ years! I have watched a range of animals from little french bulldogs to Great Pyrenees! I offer drop - ins, dog sitting and walking! I know it can be a dog-eat-dog world out there so its my pleasure to spend sometime with your companion! I currently work about 10 minutes from home so I take out my fur baby (& hopefully yours) out in the AM and then I swing home between 12-1 to do our afternoon bathroom run! I am normally home by 4 so we have some play time and then try to go for about a (1) mile walk (weather depending)! I live in an apartment so we go on some nice walks throughout the day! I have a fur baby (rufus) who loves other pups but also loves his naps! My partner also works from home so their is always someone at our place if your pup runs anxious!

About: Dogs have been a source of joy in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up around dog lovers and was always the first to volunteer for pet-sitting when friends or family needed help. I joined Rover and Wag back in 2016—partly for side income, partly to be around pups while manifesting my dream dog (already a seasoned cat mom of 8+ years at the time!). In 2021, that dream came true when my partner and I rescued our perfect pup. Since then, having a dog of my own has deepened my bond with animals and taught me even more about their routines, quirks, and love languages. I see pets as full beings—worthy of care, attention, and conversation (yes, I talk to animals like they’re old friends). Whether I’m walking, dropping in, or house-sitting, I’m here to make your pet feel seen, safe, and loved. I’m currently working in the middle of looking for work, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for house sitting, walks, drop-ins and boarding on weekends, and weekday visits from 11:30-7pm. I love fitting pet care into my daily rhythm—walks help me reset, and dog cuddles are the highlight of my week! I have a fully fenced yard and one friend's pup named Benito, a Belgian Malinois, who loves furry company and a 9-year-old cat who likes to take her space when company comes lol. Your pup will have built-in playmates or a quiet space if they prefer solo time. I can easily crate your dog if needed, and I always follow your instructions around feeding, leashing, and meds. I treat your pets and your space with the same care that I’d want for my own.

“Alana is awesome - she's super communicative and easy to work with. I have a lot of meetings lately and wanted to get my dog some extra walks, so Alana has been walking him twice a week. She sends great updates with pics and I know my fur baby is in great hands.”

About: I have grown up around all breeds of dogs, from the tiny chihuahua to the giant Rhodesian ridgeback. I was a student athlete so I am fit and able to keep up with high energy dogs. I have experience with all different breeds of dogs and have a deeply rooted love for them all. I am used to having puppies in the house and don’t mind training or taking care of senior dogs. I’ve also been around my fair share of cats, so don’t worry about leaving your furry friend with me. My schedule is pretty flexible. Most evenings are free and though weekends can get busy, I will make time for your animals. As of right now, this is my occupation so I have time during the week as well. I love chilling with the dogs and cats I take care of. More than likely, we’ll end up taking a nap together at some point. I keep an eye on them and will take them on walks unless otherwise instructed.

About: I grew up with a German Shephard/Border Collie Mix named Cookie. She is 14 now and we have had her since she was 10 weeks old so I have had experience from the puppy stage all the way to the senior care she needs now. I have also been a cat mom for over two years now, taking care of Nala from the kitten age to adulthood. In that time, I have learned a lot about cat care and the responsibility of having a pet entirely by yourself (I have also fallen deeply in love with cats in general). I have pet sit for family and friends with cats of all personalities and have become extremely patient in understanding temperament and what each individual baby needs. I know our pets are really our children and will do everything to make sure you and your pet are taken care of! I can't wait to meet your fur babies! I recently got laid off from my job so I have a lot of time to fit pet care into my schedule. Watching animals is more than a job for me, it's something I genuinely enjoy doing. Before your trip/leave, I will make sure to ask you all about your baby's personality, care needs, and any house related things. I know this can be a stressful experience for them so I will make sure to make them as comfortable as possible.

“I was grateful to have Christy be able to jump in and help last minute! She was a great communicator and I felt comfortable knowing exactly how my dog was doing :)”

About: I have always had pets—cats, dogs, fish, rats, birds, and even snails. I have cared for animals of all ages and types of needs but am particularly well-versed in senior care, including medication , subQ fluids, and special comfort for dementia/arthritis. In terms of non-furry pets, I’m an aquarium enthusiast (freshwater) and happy to care for your fish, shrimp, and snails while you’re away; I know the signs to look for in terms of fish illnesses or tank imbalance and will keep you up to date while you’re gone. I work from home, so I will be home with your pets most of the time for overnight stays as long as I have internet access! My work schedule is often pretty flexible. Happy to provide all the playtime and snuggles they might want! Will generally keep dogs away from other dogs unless you expressly tell me they enjoy meeting strangers. For cats, I like to give them their space at first so they can decide on their own that they want my attention; I’m thrilled when they decide to trust me and take treats and/or pets.

About: Caring for animals has been part of my life since I was a kid, from checking in on a neighbor’s pet to hosting overnight stays. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments—senior pets are especially dear to me—understanding the extra care and attention they often need. From gentle routines to specialized care, I’m experienced in making sure older pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. No matter your pet’s age or needs, I provide a calm, caring environment where they’ll feel right at home. I currently have a flexible hybrid schedule, which means plenty of time to care for your pups! Whether they need overnight boarding or just some extra attention, I’ll make sure they feel right at home. I’m available for overnight stays starting at 4 PM—happy to provide a cozy, caring environment while you’re away! Your pup’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities! My apartment complex features a spacious, well-maintained dog park with a wonderful community of dogs and pet parents—perfect for social pups who love to play. But if your furry friend prefers a quieter experience, I’m happy to accommodate their needs. I understand that every dog is unique, and I’m comfortable providing specialized care, whether that means crating, reinforcing training routines, managing special diets, or administering medications. Senior dogs hold a special place in my heart, and I have extensive experience caring for them. Plus, living on the first floor means easy access with no stairs—gentler on aging joints.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life! I will ensure to treat your baby like my own! I can’t wait to meet your pup! Book with me I’m a balloon stylist with my own small business, which means I typically only work a few hours on weekends for events. During the week, I’m home almost all day—aside from a quick trip to the gym—so I have plenty of time to give your pup lots of attention, cuddles, and play. My flexible schedule allows me to truly be present and responsive to your dog’s needs. People often say I spoil dogs—and they’re absolutely right. Your pup will get plenty of love, belly rubs, and playtime at the dog park. I treat every dog like they’re my own!

Jamie M.
“You could not ask for a better pet sitter than Jamie. She is the only person in this world I trusted with my five birds and two dogs. Three of my animals are on medication and missing a dose could potentially be life-threatening. I trusted Jamie implicitly with the care of all of my animals, even my macaw, who was a difficult diva to deal with. True to form she created a little bird emergency, and Jamie handled it like a champ. I would trust her with any of my animals. Ever.”

Ariel F.Star Sitter
“I would highly recommend Ariel when it comes to caring for your pets. As someone with an anxious pup full of quirks, I know it can be tricky to find someone both you and your pet can trust but Ariel has been great! With her patience and attentiveness, Tater Tot warmed up to her quickly and they've been fast friends:)”

Tori S.
“Tori is the best! My boy Jack loves when she comes to take him on a walk! She always keeps me updated during and at the end of the walk. Highly recommend!!”
