About: Hi! I have been providing pet care on and off for over twenty years. I've spent time as a shelter volunteer and even owned my own dog walking business. While I don't have pets of my own, I am a big animal lover and I adore taking care of my friends and neighbors fur babes. I am a full time student, taking classes from home, and hoping to spend my extra time hanging with your pet! I am a full time student with a full semester of online classes which allows me a lot of freedom and a bit of extra time. I generally work from home and don't spend much time away. I'm also an avid walker and love to be outside (when it's not SO hot) whether walking in the neighborhood or out on the trails. I don't have a fenced yard as I live in an apartment complex, but we do have a gated dog run. I have a lot of past experience working with leash training and I'm confident with dogs of all kinds, regardless of reaction levels. I prefer to work with your pet, not against them, and I am adaptable to their specific needs.
“Mara was awesome with our cats!! She was great at reaching out, and just generally checking in about the boys. She also was super attentive when we were teaching her how to administer mediation to one of our cats We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Kaile did such a great job with my two boys while I was away in Central Europe!!! I always got a text and photo update and she communicated so well. I never had to worry about my boys being cared for. Will book with her again ASAP!”

“Luciana was amazing! Excellent communication and very professional. My two cats seemed perfectly happy and loved being visited. I can’t recommend Luciana enough and will definitely be using her services next time I’m out of town for longer than a few days.”

“Matt became Rockys best pal in a single visit. We were gone for 5 days and the level of trust Matt gave us and care he showed for Rocky far exceeded any other Rover we have ever used. We happily recommend Matt to take care of your pet.”

“Sierra did a great job taking care of my cat while I was out of town. We got lots of pictures of him playing and getting treats and pets. I will definitely be booking with Sierra again!”

“Isabel was absolutely fantastic with our six-month-old puppy, Oliver! This was our first time leaving him with someone new, and our original sitter fell through at the last minute. I reached out to Isabel on Rover just two days before we needed someone, and she responded within about 20 minutes and was able to help us out. From the very beginning, Isabel made us feel completely at ease. We FaceTimed beforehand, and she asked incredibly thoughtful questions—especially since Oliver is still a puppy and in the middle of training. She asked what commands we use, exactly how we say them, what his routine looks like around meals, and other questions I honestly wouldn’t have even thought to bring up with a sitter. When she came over, she let us know as soon as she arrived and afterward sent a detailed update with photos. She told us when she fed Oliver, what games they played, how he behaved, and even shared thoughtful observations about his personality. I really appreciated how attentive and engaged she was rather than simply stopping by to let him out and feed him. Most importantly, I came away from the experience feeling incredibly confident trusting Isabel with Oliver. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she watches and takes the responsibility seriously. All of her amazing reviews make complete sense after experiencing it firsthand. Isabel is a 10/10, and we would absolutely book her again. I highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve taken care of friends and neighbors animals since middle school but began taking it more seriously around 13-14. I’ve animal sat elderly dogs with special needs, puppies, and mostly small dogs! But I’ve also happily watched cats, rodents, birds, and fish so all animal friends are welcome! Excited to meet you and your best friends. I love animals and honestly any excuse to meet new ones is very exciting. I can always work Sundays and Fridays and I have time Tuesday and wednesday evenings to check in on them when needed or go on a little walk. My cat is fed 3 times a day for a total of 2/3 cup of food, he has a play routine before bed, is let on the balcony for fresh air with his harness and a line connected to the door so he cannot get to the edge of the concrete. He takes his flea meds every month, and goes to the vet every 6 for a little check in as he’s on a small weight loss journey. I work 6-8hrs a day 5 days a week but luckily he has a a cat roommate to nap and play with while I’m gone
“Valerie was absolutely fantastic! We needed a last-minute booking and she really came through for us. She did a few drop-in visits, was always punctual, and sent us pictures of the pups so we could see how they were doing. On her way out, she even picked up a package for us which was helpful not having them out on the porch. She even left a little goodie bag for the dogs which we thought was a very thoughtful touch. We highly recommend her and would happily book her again!”

About: Having raised two dogs since they were puppies, I offer a unique understanding of canine needs. My gentle, kind-hearted nature and genuine love for animals, big or small, ensures a happy, safe experience for your dog. While I'm currently working a part-time job, I pride myself on being flexible and considerate. I'm happy to work with you to meet any scheduling needs you may have for pet sitting. My two dogs enjoy a spacious backyard, offering them freedom and fresh air. I walk them regularly, believing dogs thrive when connecting with nature and living freely
“I’m so glad we went with Lizeth! She dropped in and checked on our two cats while we were away for a weekend trip. It was a last minute ask, and she pulled through! Even coming the day before to meet our littles. She has 4 cats of her own and I could tell she was comfortable with ours. Would recommend working with her and would hire again. ☺️”

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats for over seven years and currently share my home with two dogs and two cats, so I understand all the different personalities, quirks, and needs that come with each furry friend. I’ve cared for pets of all ages and energy levels and have five years of experience as a dog owner myself. I’m comfortable giving medications to both cats and dogs, keeping routines consistent, and adjusting my care style based on your pet’s unique character, whether they’re shy, playful, energetic, or a senior who prefers gentle company. Above all, I’m loving, patient, and attentive, and I treat every animal as if they’re my own. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, and I do my best to schedule them around my work meetings. I’m happy to follow your pet’s feeding, walk, and medication routines exactly as you prefer. I can’t host pets in my home due to roommates, so all of my care takes place in your pet’s own environment where they feel safest and most relaxed. I’m very mindful of routines and instructions, and I make sure doors, gates, and feeding schedules are always handled carefully. Since I work from home, I can coordinate visits around my work meetings and spend quality time with your pet, making sure they feel secure, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Absolutely amazing dog sitter! Adriana followed all of our instructions perfectly and treated Chockie and Storm with so much care, love, and patience. We really appreciated the regular updates with photos and videos—it gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Both pups were happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for when we returned. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog sitter.”

“Kianna was amazing. She took care of my cat by showing him love and spending a lot of time with him. He also kept me up to date by messages and a lot of pictures. I will be using her for the next time I go out of town.”

As always, Paige is amazing! We always seems to have some sort of issues when we’re out of town (💩accidents, our keypad lock failing, etc) and Paige is always patient, quick to help, and thoroughly communicates with us! She’s great with our cats, even our grumpy cat likes her. I always feel comfortable leaving home knowing she’s got it handled. I can’t recommend her enough!

Highly recommend Oriana! She watched my cat for the first time as a last minute booking for an international trip and she was incredible about updates and pictures, made my trip so much less stressful knowing my girl was happy and well taken care of. So excited to continue booking with my cats new best friend 😻

Matt does does a wonderful job with our kitties! He is timely, sends updates and questions when needed, and always spends quality time with our pets. Our cats love him!! Matt goes the extra mile- taking in our mail and making sure the house is in good order before we return.

Danielle was amazing with our cat Bleu! She checked in on him daily and made sure he got plenty of cuddles and love while we were out of town, which gave us so much peace of mind. We could tell he was in great hands. I would absolutely recommend her and will definitely be booking with her again.

Lucretia is amazing!! Hands down one of the best sitters I’ve ever used. She really goes above and beyond to make your animals feel comfortable and cared for. She sends lots of videos and pictures and is really communicative. She also swept and washed the cat bowls and such, plus lit a candle while she was there so when I got home from my trip my house felt somewhat clean and welcoming. She’s the only sitter I’ll be using from here on out. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Luciana if you’re looking for a cat sitter! From the beginning, she was very attentive to care and feeding instructions for my cat. She is also very responsive so I felt reassured that there was clear communication between us. And of course, she was so great with my cat! My cat definitely enjoyed her company. 🐱❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
