About: I was raised to have a reverence for all nature by ecologist parents. My special love in the animal world is cats, but I've also owned or cared for dogs, frogs, Madagascan hissing cockroaches, fish, goats, guinea pigs, and more! (I did eventually become allergic to guinea pigs, however.) I love animals, and they love me! As a school teacher, I currently have a wide open schedule while we are out of school for the summer. Once school starts up again in August, I'll mostly be available on weekends and after 5pm. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. During drop-in visits and dog walks, I focus on building trust through calm, attentive care and reliable routines. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medication, potty breaks, and playtime, and I pay close attention to your pet’s body language and mood to make sure they feel secure and happy while you're away. For dog walks, I use secure leashing techniques, avoid unsafe or overly crowded areas, and adjust the pace based on your dog’s energy level and needs. During drop-in visits, I maintain a calm, respectful presence in your home, giving your pet the attention, affection, or quiet time they need to feel at ease. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for every step of the way.

About: I grew up with a German Shephard/Border Collie Mix named Cookie. She is 14 now and we have had her since she was 10 weeks old so I have had experience from the puppy stage all the way to the senior care she needs now. I have also been a cat mom for over two years now, taking care of Nala from the kitten age to adulthood. In that time, I have learned a lot about cat care and the responsibility of having a pet entirely by yourself (I have also fallen deeply in love with cats in general). I have pet sit for family and friends with cats of all personalities and have become extremely patient in understanding temperament and what each individual baby needs. I know our pets are really our children and will do everything to make sure you and your pet are taken care of! I can't wait to meet your fur babies! I recently got laid off from my job so I have a lot of time to fit pet care into my schedule. Watching animals is more than a job for me, it's something I genuinely enjoy doing. Before your trip/leave, I will make sure to ask you all about your baby's personality, care needs, and any house related things. I know this can be a stressful experience for them so I will make sure to make them as comfortable as possible.
