“Brandy was great! She played with our social kitty and our shy cat came out after a day which she normally takes way longer to warm up. Brandy was communicative and helpful and we will definitely be using her services again”

“Sari was a great sitter, and I’d be happy to hire her again! She was very responsive and thorough in her daily reports of my cats’ activities. The photos she took were super cute as well :)”

About: I have pets of my own so I understand just how important it is to find a pet-sitter you can trust with your loved ones. I am only working part-time, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! My work is very flexible so I can adapt to your needs. My house is a home to four cats and two dogs so I am very familiar with taking care of pets. I am a very patient and calm pet-parent.
“My boy Kiddo has not been well and there were accidents in the house. I have so much appreciation for Misha taking care of him and the messes without any hesitation.”

About: I have several years of experience caring for pets including walking them, feeding them, giving them their medication, and transporting them to appointments. I also have experience working with senior pets. My job has a very flexible schedule so I am typically available during the day to walk and care for your pets! I am also available weekends to watch your pets while you're out of town. I am a huge animal lover and have two dogs of my own at home. I understand your pet is an extension of your family, therefore, I strive to provide the best quality of care for each of my clients.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I know how important it is to keep pets feeling safe, loved, and comfortable when their people are away. What sets me apart is my patient, reliable care and the extra attention I give to each animal’s personality and routine. I’m experienced with administering medications when needed, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own—because that’s the kind of care I’d want for mine. I work part-time in the evenings, I have plenty of free time during the day for pet care. This means I can give your cats and dogs lots of attention, playtime, and cuddles when they need it most. I’m available for morning check-ins, midday visits, and flexible scheduling to keep their routine consistent. When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of playtime or walks (for dogs), clean litter boxes (for cats), and lots of affection. I’m also happy to water plants, bring in mail, and keep things tidy so your home feels cared for too. Most importantly, I give your pets the love and attention they deserve so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.
“Elizabeth was amazing with my puppy!!! She took such great care of him during her midday visits - lots of playtime and attention which eased all of my worries about leaving him alone.”

“Amanda is a great communicator, keeping me updated each day. My cats didn't seem too excited to see me so I know she did a great job of keeping them well-fed and happy. Will use Amanda again!”

“Caroline was great with my golden retriever pup, even with all of her crazy puppy energy. She was great with communicating with me, letting me know how Ellie was doing while I was away, and sending me pictures!”

About: Me and pets…we just get each other, you know? I’ve been taking care of cats, dogs, guinea pigs, turtles, geckos, and more since I was a child. (Before I go on, both of my cats are currently staying with my parents — so I have plenty of room for your pet!) I’m close to my sister, and her senior pug, Lola, and new puppy, Ruby, are my sweet nieces — I’ve cared for them like they’re my own many times over the years. (I can’t wait to get my own dog someday!) I also love to foster all kinds of animals, from puppies to new cat moms and their 8 tiny kittens. In fact, I adopted my second cat, Dusty, after fostering and falling in love with her from APA three years ago. I adopted my senior cat, Minerva, almost 14 years ago from a Brooklyn shelter. I’m a freelance writer and editor who works from home and loves to be outside, which is why Rover is perfect for me. Whether I’m taking your pup on a long walk (my favorite thing in the world) or cuddling up with your kitty at home, I’m excited to meet your furry best friend! I’m a freelance writer who works from home and sets my own schedule. I also don’t currently have pets in my home. So I have a lot of flexibility to visit your home, take your pet on walks, or host them in my home! My home is currently pet free and safe and ready to welcome your pet. They can even sleep in the bed if they feel like cuddling!

Austin cat parents share their Rover experiences
Laura was reliable, thorough, and was persistently kind & warm to my cat even when my cat was antisocial the whole time I was away 😅 I was away from home for 2 weeks, and was greatly comforted knowing Laura was checking in on my kitty cat to make sure she was taken care of. Would absolutely book with her again!

Ashley is a great cat sitter! This is the second time she has watched my kitties, and from the pictures it’s clear that they are super comfortable, which usually takes a while for them. I appreciate you playing with them (especially the laser pointer) and giving them cuddles! Will definitely book again :)

Rebecca did a great job taking care of our orange cat Neko! She made sure to feed her and clean her litter box and made sure she got pets. She was a grea communicator throughout the booking. We would definitely feel comfortable with booking Rebecca again and would highly recommend!

Caroline did a great job checking in with my kitty! When I leave my cat alone she gets stressed out and lets me know when I get back by acting out. Caroline was able to reduce her stress when I had to leave (in the middle of moving in) and my kitty was happy and well behaved when I got back. I loved all of the photos she sent each check-in and knowing she was being cared for. Will be booking with her again!

Matt was wonderful to work with! He came and met our two kittens before the start date and was immediately friendly with our fur babies. Matt spent extra time and effort to make sure our kitties were well looked after and entertained in our absence. We received plenty of updates with photos and check-ins. All of the feeding and litter box maintenance was followed perfectly and the house was well taken care of. Thank you so much, Matt! We hope to work with you again soon.
