About: *Ask me about "Dog Bladder Limits" 🐶 The ACL W2 Drop-In Package!* *Dog Training/Behavior package available off-platform, ask me for details* *Now Booking for Thanksgiving & New Year's Holidays Ever since I was 12 years old, I have been relied on and trusted by friends, family and clients to take care of their dogs in their absence. This year, I turned my lifelong love for canines from dogsitting, dogwalking, dog owning, and dog therapy teamwork into full-blown Dog Training Certification. So, know that is also an offering. And I lightly whisper to any and all dogs I come in contact with. I am also a Certified Yoga and Meditation Teacher, so if calm is what you need, my calm leader energy is at your service. 🙏🏽 I used to own a half-husky named Zephyr who was the light of my world, and my Therapy Dog teammate. Unfortunately I had to let him go at 12.5 years in the summer of '25 as he became suddenly ill. We would walk and hike 2x a day. This directly correlated to why he looked so youthful and possessed such intelligence, because he was exercised. So even if I exercise your dog, I hope you also get to partake in this ritual for the physical and mental well-being of your baby. Not to mention for your bond! I establish my leadership calmly, and then I greet your dog. I like to take them outside for relief / exercise or a walk and upon our return, we top off water and food. If I am allowed, I like sitting with or playing with your dog, and massaging their big joints and paws, so they feel cared for. Then if time permits, I stay in the same room and do some of my own work so they can feel my presence for a good chunk of time before I depart/they are left alone again.
“Victoria was so great to work with! Communicative, punctual and respectful of my shy senior cat. She took such good care of her, provided me detailed information of what was happening and took really great photos! I highly recommend her!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was a teenager. I have experience staying overnight for long periods of time, and also with dropping in here and there for playtime! I currently work as an online tutor and I am a full-time student at Texas A&M University. During the summer break, I am very flexible! I will respect the pet owner's wishes when it comes to leaving pets inside or taking them outside. I have lots of experience with walking animals, and I'll make sure they stay safe!
“Cortney is very responsive and easy to work with. She accommodated a couple of schedule changes with no concerns. I am very happy with the care she provided to our two cats while we were away for a week. I will definitely book Cortney for future pet sitting needs.”

“Willow was fantastic! Both of my kitties immediately liked her and felt comfortable with her! That’s really all I can ask for but she also followed my feeding instructions to a T, and was very respectful of my space- even cleaned their food bowls for me before she left on her last visit! I will definitely be a repeat client 😄”

About: I’m reliable, attentive, and focused on making pets feel comfortable by sticking closely to their normal routines. I’m very communicative with owners and always provide updates and photos. I’m also patient with different personalities—whether that’s energetic dogs that need activity or more relaxed pets that just want calm companionship. Pet care fits easily into my routine. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to plan my day around walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I’m typically up early and active throughout the day, which makes it easy to provide reliable morning and evening care. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications, while making sure pets get plenty of attention and care. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is doing well.

Katherine was so great with our girl, Tilly! We had to go out of town last minute and Katherine really helped us out and was quick to respond. Her check-in notes were very detailed and gave me the peace of mind that our kitten was well taken care of during her drop-in visit. Highly recommend Katherine for your furry loved one!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lost Creek. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
