“Victoria was so great to work with! Communicative, punctual and respectful of my shy senior cat. She took such good care of her, provided me detailed information of what was happening and took really great photos! I highly recommend her!”

“Willow was fantastic! Both of my kitties immediately liked her and felt comfortable with her! That’s really all I can ask for but she also followed my feeding instructions to a T, and was very respectful of my space- even cleaned their food bowls for me before she left on her last visit! I will definitely be a repeat client 😄”

“Bianca was very efficient and productive when taking care of my dogs she let me know ahead of time the agenda of the day for the care for my dogs. She was knowledgeable and dealing with hyper dogs, very sweet and I felt comfortable letting her into my home to care for my fur babies ! See you again soon!!”

About: I’ve spent years around pets and genuinely enjoy taking care of them. I grew up with 2 massive English Mastiffs, lazy cats and a chihuahua so I can handle anything. Whether it’s walks, feeding, or just keeping them company, I make sure they feel comfortable and happy. I’m patient, reliable, and good at reading what each pet needs. You’ll always get updates so you know your pet is in good hands. I’m a full time student with a flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the day for reliable and consistent pet care. Whether your pet needs midday visits, regular walks, or extended attention, I can easily work around their routine to keep them cared for. I treat your home and your pet with respect. I follow your pet’s routine, provide regular walks, feeding, and attention, and make sure they feel comfortable and safe while you’re away.
“Our 2nd time for Cortney to drop-in on our cat. She can be counted on to deliver excellent care! She has loads of experience, she's responsive, and she's super easy to work with.”

“Christine is an amazing sitter! She always takes the best care of my boy when I am out of town. She even accepted a very last minute drop in when I had to go out of town unexpectedly. Highly highly recommend!”

“I always appreciate Raven’s flexibility whenever I need to adjust or add to the cats’ check-in routine. She’s incredibly communicative, which gives me so much peace of mind, especially since one of my cats has ongoing health issues. She handles my sick kitty’s messes without complaint, keeps me updated, and always makes sure both cats get plenty of love, attention, and pets. I know they’re in great hands whenever she’s caring for them.”

About: I grew up with a dog until I was 18 (Westie - Minnie) and then after college was adopted by a wonderful rescue sphynx (PyeWacket). Over then next 20 or so years I have had 4 sphyx cats (PyeWacket, Forty Two, Tesla and Cairo) and 1 Lyikoi (Cypher). Over the last year my house has had 4 puppies (from 8 weeks), 2 turtles, 2 Guinea pigs, 2 full size dogs 6 cats and multiple fish. I also often house sit for a very smart chihuahua named Mazie. Currently in between jobs so my schedule is fairly open. Like early and late walks due to the heat but open for anything. Open to late night feedings if needed. I treat your animals like they were my own. Love to play, hang out and what ever your little one needs. Need to make sure they know they are loved.
“When I first met Regan for a meet up so that she could meet my cat, GIGI, I knew instantly that I was very lucky to have found her! And for the week that she took care of GIGI, she proved to be an outstanding pet sitter! Daily, she sent me great pictures of GIGI relaxed and playful with Regan. I especially appreciated that Regan seemed very mature minded and serious about her responsibility for taking care of GIGI. I would absolutely recommend Regan to anyone who desired a professional and gentle pet sitter! A+++”

About: I've been taking care of pets since I was a young child. Always having dogs and cats of my own to care for, my friends and family have always relied on me to sit their fur babies when they are away. Recently I pet sat for a litter of puppies and a momma doggie. I had to make specialty food gruel for the puppies and monitor momma to make sure she was healthy. I helped the puppies nurse and always made sure they had fresh bedding (since they poop all over). I also had to care for another male dog in the same house and make sure he was kept away from the room that the momma and puppies were in. It was such an amazing experience and I would love to do it again. I also volunteer at the Austin Animal Shelter (Austin Pets Alive), where I work in the parvovirus unit working with extremely sick puppies. I administer oral medication, clean up their poop, do daily feedings and have experinece in IV treatments. I also volunteer in the cat unit helping sick and injured cat rehabilitate giving oral and IV medication, cleaning wounds and feedings. My belated kitty, Morrisis, was a senior cat, who in his later years, became paralyzed from the waist down. I did daily physical therapy with him, built him specialized litter boxes and a set of wheels to get around with. I also had to clean his wounds and poop off of his rear end, since he no longer had control of his bladder. I administered CBD to help with pain management. There is a special place in my heart for sick animals and I give them just as much love as every animal deserves, which is all of my love. I my free time, I foster stray cats in my neighborhood, taking them to their first vet appointments, getting shots and managing any sickness they may have. I foster them myself until I can find a suitable forever home for them. My work schedule is typically 10am-3-30pm. This allows me to drop in for visits and walks before my full time job, as well as multiple times afterwards. On my days off I am more than happy to house sit, or take care of your fur babies in your house for a couple days. I will post my schedule 2 weeks in advance. When I am in my clients home, I allow supervised playtime outside and will keep your pup entertained. In the heat of Texas summers I will minimize outside play time and play with your pup more inside so they do not get over heated, unless you request otherwise. I do multi-daily walks around the neighborhood to stretch your pups legs. I keep a close inventory on any medications the animal may have and stick to the correct time for administering medication/ wound treatment. Meal time is usually on a schedule, unless you free feed, and I will always make sure there is cold fresh water available for your fur babies (cats and dogs alike). For kitties, I will engage them in playtime and try to get out their zoomies so they do not tear up furniture, unless they are sick or injured.
“Kayla was awesome! On short notice she took care of my Miley and went above and beyond. I highly recommend her services. Hopefully she’ll watch Miley on my next trip. 10 stars 🌟”

“Leslie was great, and not just totally on top of it all, perfectly communicative and good with our pups, but warm and easygoing besides. Part of what made our trip so enjoyable was knowing Leslie was taking care of things and seeing her reports/photos three times a day when she walked and fed them. I was actually a little jealous of how happy our terrier looked lounging on our couch with her!”

“Annie was an amazing pet sitter! She was attentive, caring, and went above and beyond to make sure my cats were happy and well taken care of. I really appreciated her updates and the extra care she showed.”

“Whitney really is one of the best for dog services she knows how to walk well and gets along with your pet immediately also very mild-mannered and relaxing to work with”

“Josh was an amazing petsitter! He was in contact with us the entire week, sharing adorable photos of our cats and feeding them on time. It was so lovely to know they were taken care of while we were on Holiday, and we would definitely recommend him for all your petsitting needs <3”

“Drew was very professional, timely and communicated well! She would always take pictures and would update us if our puppy was eating etc. i would recommend her and book her again!”

“Dan was super accommodating to my last minute booking and even cancellation! He took such great care of my pups and when I returned home everything was in order! He cleaned everything well and most importantly made sure my dog got his medication everyday! I got photos and updates for every visit so I was definitely at ease. Thanks Dan! :)”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
