About: I’ve spent years around pets and genuinely enjoy taking care of them. I grew up with 2 massive English Mastiffs, lazy cats and a chihuahua so I can handle anything. Whether it’s walks, feeding, or just keeping them company, I make sure they feel comfortable and happy. I’m patient, reliable, and good at reading what each pet needs. You’ll always get updates so you know your pet is in good hands. I’m a full time student with a flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the day for reliable and consistent pet care. Whether your pet needs midday visits, regular walks, or extended attention, I can easily work around their routine to keep them cared for. I treat your home and your pet with respect. I follow your pet’s routine, provide regular walks, feeding, and attention, and make sure they feel comfortable and safe while you’re away.
“When I first met Regan for a meet up so that she could meet my cat, GIGI, I knew instantly that I was very lucky to have found her! And for the week that she took care of GIGI, she proved to be an outstanding pet sitter! Daily, she sent me great pictures of GIGI relaxed and playful with Regan. I especially appreciated that Regan seemed very mature minded and serious about her responsibility for taking care of GIGI. I would absolutely recommend Regan to anyone who desired a professional and gentle pet sitter! A+++”

About: I have pet sit for friends and family members for years now, so there’s truly nothing I haven’t seen. I always treat the pets I’m taking care of as if they were my own (I grew up with dogs and have 2 cats atm and they’re my babies). If your pet has a special request/need, I’m happy to accommodate and give them the best experience possible! I’m currently in grad school pursuing two degrees, one in public health and the other in public affairs. As you may assume, school and studying take up a lot of my time (but never too much for your pet). I have a fairly flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate your pets needs and provide them with the individualized care they deserve! While I’m not able to keep your pet at my home, I can do you one better and turn their own into a mini vacation! Luxurious morning walks at the park?✅ Homemade meals based on dietary preference?✅ Screenings of YouTube tv for dogs/cats?✅ and more!
“Our 2nd time for Cortney to drop-in on our cat. She can be counted on to deliver excellent care! She has loads of experience, she's responsive, and she's super easy to work with.”

“Bianca was very efficient and productive when taking care of my dogs she let me know ahead of time the agenda of the day for the care for my dogs. She was knowledgeable and dealing with hyper dogs, very sweet and I felt comfortable letting her into my home to care for my fur babies ! See you again soon!!”

About: I started taking care of dogs during the pandemic. 2 yrs ago a friend was in a crunch and I took in her dog for almost a year. Gave me more hands on experience and I’ve dog sat other dogs on and off since. Currently work from home so, my schedule is very flexible. As long as we agree on a time and date, i’ll be there on time. I live near a dog park and love going on long walks. I have a car I can come to you and walk them near you or whatever you’re comfortable with.

About: I’ve grown up with and around all sorts of animals and have taken care of some with medical issues. I’ve tended to pets such as chinchillas, snakes, farm animals, and more. I work full time in office so I’m available on the weekends and week nights. I can also do early mornings. If needed, I can create a more flexible schedule with a weeks notice and some communication. I do not have a yard and since I can’t do boarding, I will use your accommodations to make sure your babies are the most comfortable in their own environment.
“Nina was a wonderful sitter for my kitty, (also named) Nina! She made time to meet us beforehand and clearly had experience with cats :) she brought over calming energy and sent sweet photos of lap time snuggles. I was grateful for her and would easily recommend and rebook her again! thanks Nina ✨”

“Andrea was a joy to work with. She arrived for our meet up ahead of time, and took care of our cat right on schedule. We appreciate her being available in short notice, as well.”

About: I've been taking care of pets since I was a young child. Always having dogs and cats of my own to care for, my friends and family have always relied on me to sit their fur babies when they are away. Recently I pet sat for a litter of puppies and a momma doggie. I had to make specialty food gruel for the puppies and monitor momma to make sure she was healthy. I helped the puppies nurse and always made sure they had fresh bedding (since they poop all over). I also had to care for another male dog in the same house and make sure he was kept away from the room that the momma and puppies were in. It was such an amazing experience and I would love to do it again. I also volunteer at the Austin Animal Shelter (Austin Pets Alive), where I work in the parvovirus unit working with extremely sick puppies. I administer oral medication, clean up their poop, do daily feedings and have experinece in IV treatments. I also volunteer in the cat unit helping sick and injured cat rehabilitate giving oral and IV medication, cleaning wounds and feedings. My belated kitty, Morrisis, was a senior cat, who in his later years, became paralyzed from the waist down. I did daily physical therapy with him, built him specialized litter boxes and a set of wheels to get around with. I also had to clean his wounds and poop off of his rear end, since he no longer had control of his bladder. I administered CBD to help with pain management. There is a special place in my heart for sick animals and I give them just as much love as every animal deserves, which is all of my love. I my free time, I foster stray cats in my neighborhood, taking them to their first vet appointments, getting shots and managing any sickness they may have. I foster them myself until I can find a suitable forever home for them. My work schedule is typically 10am-3-30pm. This allows me to drop in for visits and walks before my full time job, as well as multiple times afterwards. On my days off I am more than happy to house sit, or take care of your fur babies in your house for a couple days. I will post my schedule 2 weeks in advance. When I am in my clients home, I allow supervised playtime outside and will keep your pup entertained. In the heat of Texas summers I will minimize outside play time and play with your pup more inside so they do not get over heated, unless you request otherwise. I do multi-daily walks around the neighborhood to stretch your pups legs. I keep a close inventory on any medications the animal may have and stick to the correct time for administering medication/ wound treatment. Meal time is usually on a schedule, unless you free feed, and I will always make sure there is cold fresh water available for your fur babies (cats and dogs alike). For kitties, I will engage them in playtime and try to get out their zoomies so they do not tear up furniture, unless they are sick or injured.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 12. Absolutely love them and understand they each have their own individual needs. Recently became a cat mom as well. I am currently not working so I have all the time in the world. Looking to go on as many dog walks as I can. I am looking to be more of a dog walker and to be around the dogs’ usual environment. Keeping them in routine definitely minimizes stress or anxiety, when their parents aren’t around.
About: I’ve cared for both dogs and cats and have experience with everything from overnight house sitting to quick drop-in visits. I love getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I have a hybrid full time job so I can typically do weekday check-ins and will be available after work hours for sure! Weekends are also obviously free to whatever you need! I treat every house as if it were my own. With respect and care, I will make sure that you come back with a peace of mind and to a happy and healthy pet!
About: I have has several steady house sitting gigs over the years with shy pups, energetic pups, cats, and plants. I have the most experience staying with pets in their home, but I can also do drop in visits I am currently working part time and work about three 3-4 hour shifts weekly typically before 9am. I wake up early and love to walk and am happy to care for energetic dogs. I’m conscious and attentive and will check in regularly with you, and make sure your pet is safe and cared for. I can hold boundaries if you’re actively training your dog but also don’t mind when they prefer to sleep on the bed or cuddle with me on the couch
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 10 years of professional pet care experience. I worked for a local pet care business in my hometown of Atlanta, caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra TLC. Since I don’t currently have pets of my own, I love any opportunity to spend time with furry friends and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I work primarily from home (I’m only in the office on Wednesdays, and even then my schedule is flexible), which means I can provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for both daytime care and overnight stays. If your dog has lots of energy, even better! I’m an avid runner and would be happy to take active pups on runs in addition to regular walks to help them stay happy and exercised. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll care for yours as if they were my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged family member! I work mostly remotely so I can house sit or stop by for long walks, feedings, etc. My schedule is flexible most days of the week. I typically prefer caring for pets in their own home because I believe animals are happiest and most comfortable in their familiar environment. I make it a priority to stick to your pet’s normal routine—from feeding schedules and walks to playtime and bedtime—so they experience as little disruption as possible while you’re away. That said, if your dog is comfortable with apartment living, I’m also happy to welcome them into my home! I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and care, just as they would in their own space.
“Dan was super accommodating to my last minute booking and even cancellation! He took such great care of my pups and when I returned home everything was in order! He cleaned everything well and most importantly made sure my dog got his medication everyday! I got photos and updates for every visit so I was definitely at ease. Thanks Dan! :)”

Rebecca is amazing! My cat loves when she stops by and is always so excited to see her. I am so comfortable leaving my cat in her care and know I am always getting many pictures and updates. Even when my cat was sick and I was gone, Rebecca didn’t hesitate to help out extra. She is fantastic!

Eliza was just a lifesaver!!! I requested drop-ins pretty last minute and she was able to help me out! I also really appreciated that she’s had a bunch of knowledge & experience with kittens, so I trusted her the most with my kitties & she was definitely the right choice!! If you’re looking for someone who has amazing communication, sends great photos, & loves to give attention to your pets, Eliza is definitely who you’re looking for!!! Thank you again so, so much for your help!!! I would 1000% have Eliza back to help in the future!

Terra is amazing!! She is the first experience I’ve had using Rover and she was so thorough and thoughtful with her questions regarding Charlie and his needs. Terra was so helpful with the initial booking process, very communicative, and left the sweetest notes in the daily rover cards. I came home to a happy kitty and felt so good knowing he was well taken care of while I was away. Would absolutely book with Terra again, thank you so much! :)

Meredith was an excellent and brave caretaker of Oscar. Highly communicative, thoughtful and considerate. Oscar warmed up quickly and really enjoyed her presence. Meredith was skilled at managing complex situations and used excellent judgment. Would highly recommend her services and will definitely hire again.

I booked Zoey over the Holidays to drop in and check on my cat. She was fabulous and I would absolutely book with her again. She was responsive to my messages, considerate of my space, and even swept up around my cats litter box without the expectation to. I am very thankful for her help!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
