About: I am very patient and understanding with dogs and cats and always have a soft spot for animals. I have experience working with older dogs and medication they might need. I am working around a few different aspects such as college schooling, some social gatherings with friends, and overall business. Many weekends I am free and some weekdays I am also free. I do not own any pets but I did watch my friend’s family dogs for many years. I have had a dog and a cat in the past.
“Trinity was so great with our kitties! She cared for our 2 cats, one having heart failure, needing pills administered twice a day. We were nervous about that and although he was a tricky one to give pills to, Trinity was reassuring and ensured he got his medication every single time with a lot of patience to trying out different methods. Her communication was exceptional and we appreciated the recaps of how our boys were doing while we were away and spent more time playing with our cats when she noticed their energy levels shift. Overall, she is a very caring a careful sitter 🐈⬛🐈⬛”

“Makayla has great communication and took great care of my kitten! She’s very trustworthy and left my home clean and organized after her visit. Would 100% recommend and will be booking with her again in the future.”

“Micaela was dependable and super kind. She was super attentive to my pup and I’m sure Stormi loved her. She went out of her way to make both me and Stormi comfortable.”

“Rory was great with my two small pups, and they're the skittish type! She was real sweet wuth them, and jept me in the loop through out the visits. I'll definitely be using her again <3”

“Thank you so much for taking good care of our kitties! We had some finicky instructions, including care for 3 cats - one of them being a senior who needs oral meds - for our three babies and Page handled it all effortlessly ☺️ Additionally, this was my first time using the app and Page was super helpful as I navigated the booking. We will definitely be re-booking with Page in the future!”

“Alyssa is the best sitter. We have used rover in multiple cities and she is top notch. We have used her multiple times and she is super professional; from communication to the way she treats your pet and home.”

“Amber was extremely caring and flexible even after a mistake on our end with our address being labeled incorrectly. She astounded us by being over and above in her care for Bill. We felt very grateful that she was able to care for him over the holiday weekend.”

About: For more than 49 years, dogs have been an integral part of my life. Caring for them isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am. From energetic puppies to gentle senior companions, I understand that every dog has a unique personality, routine, and needs. My goal is to provide a safe, enriching, and stress-free experience that feels as close to home as possible. Whether it’s an adventure-filled walk, a drop-in visit packed with attention and play, or an overnight stay filled with comfort, affection, and consistency, your dog will be treated like family every step of the way. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and communicative, keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your best friend is happy, exercised, and receiving exceptional care. I don’t simply watch dogs—I build trust with them, create meaningful experiences, and ensure they look forward to every visit. Because I work from home as a business owner, I have the flexibility to provide attentive, personalized care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs an early morning walk, a midday drop-in, frequent potty breaks, playtime, or overnight companionship, I’m able to accommodate a wide range of schedules. My flexible lifestyle allows me to focus on your pet’s routine, helping them feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I believe every pet deserves time, attention, exercise, and affection—not just a quick visit—and that’s exactly the level of care I strive to provide. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my highest priorities. My home offers a secure, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and relax throughout the day. Inside, they have access to a dog door, allowing them the freedom to move between the house and the yard whenever they choose. Beyond the backyard, I’m fortunate to live near miles of beautiful greenbelt and open-space trails, providing enriching walks and outdoor adventures tailored to your dog’s energy level and personality. Every pet is supervised, treated with patience and respect, and cared for as if they were my own. I also understand how important peace of mind is while you’re away, so you’ll receive regular photo updates and communication, ensuring you always know your best friend is safe, happy, and having a wonderful time.
“Loved having Olivia take care of my Finley today!!! She sent me updates and so many photos of him having the best time. thank you so much, I will definitely be booking with Olivia again🩷”

About: From a young age, I've gained extensive pet care experience. Growing up on a farm, I was constantly around animals. My first real responsibility was caring for our German Shepherd in fourth grade, which included regular walks and grooming. Later, during my freshman year of high school, I became the primary caregiver for our Chiweenie, Teddy, managing his daily needs. Additionally, I've cared for friends' dogs and neighbors' cats, including feeding and administering medications, and going on walks! I am a part-time student and also work part-time at the outlets. With that being said, I do tend to have some free time specially since I’m not a full-time worker and I only have to go to class Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 PM to 8:30 PM and the rest of the week. I’m free except for if I’m working part-time for my job, but I definitely do have time to care for your needs and your pets needs! Ensuring the comfort of both you and your pet is my top priority before providing any services. I understand the importance of trust, especially since my own pet can be a bit shy. Rest assured, I'll treat your furry friend with the same care and attention I would want for my own.
“Kayla was very attentive with chicken, chicken enjoyed her treats and pet pets. Everything went according to plan. Will request Kayla to visit kitties again in the future.”

“Julie is a top notch cat sitter! In addition to giving my cats the love and play that they need, Julie sends me updates and pictures with every visit, which makes being a way much less stressful. Highly recommend!”

“Amazing as always! This was the longest I left my baby and he seems to have done great, and I know I never need to worry when Jean is there to take care of him. She even made sure to make it by when the roads were starting to get icy!”

“I was in desperate need of someone to watch my cat Moose from the 24-26th of December, as my normal sitter was also out of town for the holidays and Doray was able to fill in quickly and efficiently! She made herself available to come by my apartment for a meet and greet quickly and was communicative and thoughtful while she watched Moose over the holiday break.”

“This was our first time using a pet sitter and had so many requests for our sweet Bella. Maura was more than happy to make sure Bella had her puppy diapers on, was attentive, prompt for every visit, made sure our home was just as we left it. She sent us daily pictures and updates on how Bella was doing. She even added water to our pool when it was running low! Overall, she was such a pleasure to have watching our sweet Bella. I highly recommend her! We will definitely use her again!”

Can’t thank Rory enough for the care they provided our cat! Every day we got a thorough report about his wellbeing, and they really went above and beyond our expectations. Rory will definitely be the first person we contact any time we have to be away from home. Can’t recommend them enough!!

Alexandra took great care of our cats! One of our cats is notoriously shy and afraid of strangers but he warmed up to Alexandra immediately and really took to her over the few days that we were gone. It made us so happy to know that Jack was comfortable and getting such great care. Thank you again Alexandra!

Abigail was absolutely amazing! She visited my home for a meet & greet before my 10-day trip, sent daily updates with photos, and even brought in a bunch of packages so they wouldn’t get wet in the rain. She stayed long enough to supervise some outdoor time for my kitty, and based on the photos I know he was happy and well taken care of :) I would 100% book with Abigail again!

Martyna did a great job! She was punctual, communicative, and gave my pets lots of love while we were away. We really appreciated all the updates and photos. We came home to happy pets, and it was clear they had been in great hands! Looking forward to having Martyna watch our pets again.

Amber was extremely caring and flexible even after a mistake on our end with our address being labeled incorrectly. She astounded us by being over and above in her care for Bill. We felt very grateful that she was able to care for him over the holiday weekend.

Laura took wonderful care of my two cats while I was away. She was reliable, communicative, and gave me peace of mind with regular updates and photos. It was clear my cats were well cared for and comfortable in her hands. I truly appreciated her kindness and attention to detail, and I won’t hesitate to book with her again. Thank you, Laura, for taking such great care of my babies for a second time!

Wow. Shannon has been absolutely fantastic. I can’t begin to explain what a deep relief it is to receive her cute photos and updates. I can tell she truly cares about my pet and the amount of peace that brings when I’m on the road is huge. 10/10 absolutely recommend. Trustworthy and kind!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in San Leanna. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
