About: My lifelong devotion to animals spans decades, beginning at age 7 when I rescued ducklings and extending through a lifetime of loving diverse companions. What sets me apart is the sheer breadth of my hands-on background. Over the years, I have personally owned and shared my life with a wide spectrum of breeds—including a Belgian Shepherd, Staffordshire Terrier, Blue Heeler, and a Miniature Schnauzer. Because I am entirely unphased by size, distinct instinctual traits, or high energy levels, I am uniquely equipped to adapt to your dog's specific personality and look after them exactly as they are. ​As a self-paced online college student, my schedule is incredibly flexible. Because I can study from anywhere, I can easily adapt my routine to fit your pet's needs right in the comfort of their own home. Whether I am house sitting or dropping in for a visit, your pet will get plenty of companionship. For dogs who love to lounge, I am happy to provide all the couch snuggles and belly rubs they can handle—they make the perfect study breaks for me! If they need 100% undivided attention or an active companion for a structured neighborhood walk, I am fully available. ​My care and deep respect extend to all family members, including independent felines—having raised both a Persian and a Maine Coon. I am also uniquely comfortable with a wide variety of animals. As a self-paced online college student, my day is incredibly flexible, allowing me to fully prioritize your pet's routine. Because my coursework does not tie me down to rigid class times, I am available throughout the day for house sitting and drop-in care. I can easily adjust my schedule to align with your pet's established walking, feeding, and potty break times, ensuring they experience zero disruption while you are away. Safety and respect for boundaries are the foundations of my care. When staying in your home or dropping in, my first priority is securing the environment by ensuring doors, gates, and windows are locked tight. I closely follow all instructions regarding dietary restrictions, feeding schedules, and household rules. Because every animal communicates differently, I pay close attention to body language to ensure they feel safe and relaxed. Whether it means keeping a young pup's training routine perfectly consistent or knowing exactly where a timid cat likes to hide when meeting someone new, I manage your home and your pets with the utmost vigilance and care.

About: Just relocated to TX from Salt Lake City and we are doing this! Grew up in Northern California, oldest daughter of animal lovers--dogs, cats, pigs, horses--and had zig zagged across the nation before finally settling in Salt Lake City, Utah for 26 years, 15 of which was dedicated to growing my own pet sitting business, 10 of those 15 years going full-time at it. Over the 10 full-time years, I was the sole proprietor and employee, gathering all new family info, communicating about dates and making sure the calendar is 100% accurate, doing every sit and organizing my days for time efficiency, and reaching out to families to ensure they know all is wonderful so they can enjoy (to the highest extent possible) their time away from their pet. Being the sole sitter for a business of that size was intense but from the depths of that intensity came truly profound connections with these pets and their families, as well as a lot of good humorous times. Which led to another business but I digress. Before I left Salt Lake City for my new venture in Austin-ish in June 2026, I was still sitting for over 60 families, some of whom had been with me for at least a decade. I am conscientious, joyful, observant, and above all attentive to the language of animals (e.g., their behavior) so as to forever reach towards getting to watch them fully experience the sense of trust and safety they deserve. I plan to work part-time in the public schools come fall so: Summer: I'm available nearly any time with no conflicts. Fall and Winter: I'll be available early mornings (5:30 a.m.) to about 10 a.m., and after school starting at 2 p.m. on up to 9 p.m. I can only do drop-in visits rather than boarding because my resident dogs aren't so keen on other canines, if you catch my drift. Wouldn't be a good fit, so to speak.

“Christian is an amazing sitter. I had her come in for my first drop in for my two French bull dogs. Not only did my dogs immediately take to her calm demeanor, she got right down on the floor to greet them. One of my dogs is a bit picky and sometimes won’t eat. Christian hand fed her as I had instructed if she was not eating by herself. Both my dogs were happy and well taken care of. I ABSOLUTELY will rebook again when needed. About: As a lifelong cat owner, I have experience caring for cats of all ages, from bottle babies and energetic kittens to senior cats over 15 years old. I’ve also cared for cats with special medical and behavioral needs, including diabetes and age-related cognitive challenges. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special care requests. About: Im back! What can I say, I will love your pet like it was mine. Friends and family often ask me to look after their fur babies when they are away because they know they will be nurtured , loved and watched over. Pet sitting was one of my first gigs as a kid and sitting as an adult brings me wholesome joy. My day is pretty flexible because I work from home all but two days a week. My evenings and weekends are free. I have time in my day for walks, check ins and whatever else for your fur children. I prefer caring for your pet in your home. Familiarity is important for your pet. I can follow any rules or preference that you have for your fur baby. I will treat your space with respect and clean up behind myself and your fur baby.

About: Caring for dogs has always been my thing. I currently have four at home that I love, care, and walk or run with them every opportunity I get! I love meeting new cute furry and friendly faces! I am a very on time person when it comes to meeting up as well as schedules to follow for your dog. In addition to caring for your dog, if you need help around the house, I’ll be more than willing to take care of things for you. About: Hello! My name is Jade and I would love to meet your furry friends! I started Rover a few years ago but had to stop due to time constraints from my full time job, but now I’m committing all my time to pet care. Currently, I have three cats and two dogs, who are all rescues. I’ve had both of my dogs since they were only a few months old. So I understand the trials and tribulations of puppyhood…puppy training, crate training, obedience training, and leash walking. Hiccup and Paris both love other dogs! They have experience with dogs of all sizes! Hiccup is more of a cuddler and couch potato. Paris is higher energy and loves to play. They would be so excited to have a dog come stay with them. Feel free to set up a meet and greet! I stay at home full time now and my husband also works from home. So your pet will have constant adult supervision during their stay. I have a fenced backyard and a fenced play area in my neighborhood. I also live really close to a large public park with walking trails.
