About: Just relocated to TX from Salt Lake City and we are doing this! Grew up in Northern California, oldest daughter of animal lovers--dogs, cats, pigs, horses--and had zig zagged across the nation before finally settling in Salt Lake City, Utah for 26 years, 15 of which was dedicated to growing my own pet sitting business, 10 of those 15 years going full-time at it. Over the 10 full-time years, I was the sole proprietor and employee, gathering all new family info, communicating about dates and making sure the calendar is 100% accurate, doing every sit and organizing my days for time efficiency, and reaching out to families to ensure they know all is wonderful so they can enjoy (to the highest extent possible) their time away from their pet. Being the sole sitter for a business of that size was intense but from the depths of that intensity came truly profound connections with these pets and their families, as well as a lot of good humorous times. Which led to another business but I digress. Before I left Salt Lake City for my new venture in Austin-ish in June 2026, I was still sitting for over 60 families, some of whom had been with me for at least a decade. I am conscientious, joyful, observant, and above all attentive to the language of animals (e.g., their behavior) so as to forever reach towards getting to watch them fully experience the sense of trust and safety they deserve. I plan to work part-time in the public schools come fall so: Summer: I'm available nearly any time with no conflicts. Fall and Winter: I'll be available early mornings (5:30 a.m.) to about 10 a.m., and after school starting at 2 p.m. on up to 9 p.m. I can only do drop-in visits rather than boarding because my resident dogs aren't so keen on other canines, if you catch my drift. Wouldn't be a good fit, so to speak.

About: I have experience working at an animal shelter and I have also sat for neighbors and friends. I have also owned many pets in my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have two cats of my own named Periwinkle and Ziggy. I'm currently available everyday, including weekends. I can stop by for feedings and bathroom breaks. I also enjoy going on walks for as long as they need. If I did have the pets come to my home, I have a fenced in yard. At the client's home if there is no fence, I would keep them leashed.

She took pictures every time she dropped in and even though one of my cats was too scared to come out, it felt nice knowing that someone was still checking on him and feeding them both. Aside from caring for my pup and cat, I have experience helping neighbors and family care for their pets. 😊 I work as a dental hygienist during the week. I am free in the evenings after work all day on the weekends! I am happy to work around your schedule. I have a fenced in yard at my home; however, I am not offering boarding at this time due to my schedule. I will treat your pets as if were my own- with love and care.

About: Hello! My name is Jade and I would love to meet your furry friends! I started Rover a few years ago but had to stop due to time constraints from my full time job, but now I’m committing all my time to pet care. Currently, I have three cats and two dogs, who are all rescues. I’ve had both of my dogs since they were only a few months old. So I understand the trials and tribulations of puppyhood…puppy training, crate training, obedience training, and leash walking. Hiccup and Paris both love other dogs! They have experience with dogs of all sizes! Hiccup is more of a cuddler and couch potato. Paris is higher energy and loves to play. They would be so excited to have a dog come stay with them. Feel free to set up a meet and greet! I stay at home full time now and my husband also works from home. So your pet will have constant adult supervision during their stay. I have a fenced backyard and a fenced play area in my neighborhood. I also live really close to a large public park with walking trails.

Ivana made time to get to know our pets prior to pet sitting for us and walked through our typical routine. When doing her drop-in stop, she did a great job of following all rules and maintaining us updated throughout the way. She was also very punctual - which is crucial for us, given that our pets need medication at specific times.”

I do have a few cats of my own, so if you have a kitty needing care, it may be best for me to care for them in their own environment. My cats are used to other pets though, including dogs, so they are more than welcome in my home. I also have a fenced-in yard with a lot of room for your dog to run around and live in a neighborhood conducive to walks.
