“Christian was amazing! I felt very comfortable leaving my kitties with her. She took pictures every time she dropped in and even though one of my cats was too scared to come out, it felt nice knowing that someone was still checking on him and feeding them both. She even scooped out the litter box while she was here! I will use her again for sure.”

About: As a kid in California, I loved cats but never FULLY understood them until I was an adult. Cats, as they say, are a lesson in consent; they are the Zen masters who teach us the way; they are the speaker through whom we come to accept what the world actually is; they are a puzzle one must be humble enough to accept we're still trying to figure out; they are the authentic companion who can join us within our solitude. Dogs were domesticated to be obedient and friendly and dependent but cats walk alongside us as if they're also equally as interested in figuring out the complex and confusing world as we are. I've been a full-time pet sitter for 10 years and most of my sits were with cats (there were lots of pack-style boarding in Salt Lake City for dogs!); at the start of our relationship, calm and quiet on my part allowed the kitties to open up and therefore "teach" me via their behavior what they were saying. When animals, especially cats, know we are listening, they "talk" more, and inevitably, establishing the expectation that I'd "listen" created a positive feedback loop allowing them to feel safe, have fun and live the best life they can while their family was away. During visits, I allow cats to call the shots: do they want to play, eat/clean/nap, snuggle, enjoy an open window, have an audience while they zoomie around? It all depends! But I'm hearing it all, and therein, a strong relationship is built.
“Whitney was fantastic! She was reliable and was friendly with my cat, Fritz. She also took on a last minute booking when my flight was delayed and I couldn't get home in time. Would definitely recommend and will book with her again!”

“Juliana was great. She responded quickly to a visit request and was able to check on our cat quickly. She was super helpful and I would absolutely ask her to sit our kitty again.”

About: I am a self-described cat lady - I absolutely love cats! I’ve had cats ever since I can remember, with experience and a soft spot for caring for senior cats. I’ve also cared for a pregnant cat and then helped raise a litter of kittens! Additionally, I have experience in administering medication to kitties. I have a few cats of my owns, so it may be better for me to care for your kitty in their own environment. However, my cats are used to other pets in the home, so your kitty is more than welcome at my home. I offer complimentary meet and greets to see if it’s a good fit.
About: I adopted my first dog when she was 6 months old, and she has been my best friend since! She is a Siberian Husky nearing 12 years old now. Aside from caring for my pup and cat, I have experience helping neighbors and family care for their pets. 😊 I work as a dental hygienist during the week. I am free in the evenings after work all day on the weekends! I am happy to work around your schedule. I have a fenced in yard at my home; however, I am not offering boarding at this time due to my schedule. I will treat your pets as if were my own- with love and care.
About: My lifelong devotion to animals spans decades, beginning at age 7 when I rescued ducklings and extending through a lifetime of loving diverse companions. What sets me apart is the sheer breadth of my hands-on background. Over the years, I have personally owned and shared my life with a wide spectrum of breeds—including a Belgian Shepherd, Staffordshire Terrier, Blue Heeler, and a Miniature Schnauzer. Because I am entirely unphased by size, distinct instinctual traits, or high energy levels, I am uniquely equipped to adapt to your dog's specific personality and look after them exactly as they are. As a self-paced online college student, my schedule is incredibly flexible. Because I can study from anywhere, I can easily adapt my routine to fit your pet's needs right in the comfort of their own home. Whether I am house sitting or dropping in for a visit, your pet will get plenty of companionship. For dogs who love to lounge, I am happy to provide all the couch snuggles and belly rubs they can handle—they make the perfect study breaks for me! If they need 100% undivided attention or an active companion for a structured neighborhood walk, I am fully available. My care and deep respect extend to all family members, including independent felines—having raised both a Persian and a Maine Coon. I am also uniquely comfortable with a wide variety of animals. When you trust me to care for your home and your pets, you are getting a seasoned, versatile caretaker who honors your exact routine, respects every unique boundary, and treats your animals like family. As a self-paced online college student, my day is incredibly flexible, allowing me to fully prioritize your pet's routine. Because my coursework does not tie me down to rigid class times, I am available throughout the day for house sitting and drop-in care. I can easily adjust my schedule to align with your pet's established walking, feeding, and potty break times, ensuring they experience zero disruption while you are away. Safety and respect for boundaries are the foundations of my care. When staying in your home or dropping in, my first priority is securing the environment by ensuring doors, gates, and windows are locked tight. I closely follow all instructions regarding dietary restrictions, feeding schedules, and household rules. Because every animal communicates differently, I pay close attention to body language to ensure they feel safe and relaxed. Whether it means keeping a young pup's training routine perfectly consistent or knowing exactly where a timid cat likes to hide when meeting someone new, I manage your home and your pets with the utmost vigilance and care.

“I 100% recommend Ivana for your pet needs!! We are a complicated household of special needs pets and some sibling rivalry that requires us following certain protocols to avoid any issues. Ivana made time to get to know our pets prior to pet sitting for us and walked through our typical routine. When doing her drop-in stop, she did a great job of following all rules and maintaining us updated throughout the way. She was also very punctual - which is crucial for us, given that our pets need medication at specific times.”

“Melinda did a fantastic job for taking care of my sick fur puppy. I felt comfortable and at ease with Melinda looking after Coco and she kept me updated with photos every visit. Would happily have her look after CoCo again. I would highly recommend Melinda.”

About: Hello! My name is Jade and I would love to meet your furry friends! I started Rover a few years ago but had to stop due to time constraints from my full time job, but now I’m committing all my time to pet care. Currently, I have three cats and two dogs, who are all rescues. I’ve had both of my dogs since they were only a few months old. So I understand the trials and tribulations of puppyhood…puppy training, crate training, obedience training, and leash walking. Hiccup and Paris both love other dogs! They have experience with dogs of all sizes! Hiccup is more of a cuddler and couch potato. Paris is higher energy and loves to play. They would be so excited to have a dog come stay with them. Feel free to set up a meet and greet! I stay at home full time now and my husband also works from home. So your pet will have constant adult supervision during their stay. I have a fenced backyard and a fenced play area in my neighborhood. I also live really close to a large public park with walking trails.
“Page was excellent! She came to meet the cats and I before sitting them and it was super helpful to me. She was reliable & I can tell she loves and cares animals very much! I would definitely recommend working w Page!”

“Maggie was amazing with our kitties! One of our cat’s has heart failure and is really tricky to give meds to. With a lot of patience to trying out different methods, was able to give him his pills without fail. She was kind and gentle with our cats during the meet and greet as well making us feel confident to have our cats in her care 🐈⬛🐈⬛”

“Best Rover ever! Alex has watched our cat Mika several times now and always takes care of her like she's his own cat. He has watched her overnight before and we feel confident she is safe, happy, and has a clean litter box! We get many pictures and updates each day, and we can tell she really likes Alex from all of the pictures of Mika on his lap and shoulders. Great prices and really helpful that he's been able to watch her even on last minute notice. Thank you Alex!”

About: Hi, my name is Kalena. I've been providing dedicated and loving pet care for the past ten years. Animals have always held a special place in my heart—they’re truly the best part of my life. A few years ago, I lost my soul dog, Luck, to cancer, and more recently, my 1-year-old cat, Mio, to heart failure. These losses deepened my passion and commitment to being a voice and source of comfort for animals in need. I'm currently pursuing my master’s degree at Texas State University and looking for a side job to help support my education. You can find me on Rover, where I proudly hold a 5.0 rating for my compassionate and reliable pet care services. I've worked with a range of young puppies and kittens to older dogs and cats. I've volunteered at a dog rescue center (Four Legged Ranch) multiple times. I've also worked with a breeder and I've helped clean the crates, pick up poop, feed them and more. My clients and their pet are my number one priority and I can only hope they are satisfied with my service. My goal of my service is to always treat your pets like they are my own and make sure they go back to you happy and healthy. Trust and communication are also the key to my service, so I will provide you with a thorough details and pictures/videos. I am currently pursuing masters at Texas State University, so my schedule is flexible, except Mondays and Wednesdays. I have classes from 11am-2:20pm. I also have internship for 4 hours from Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm-7:30pm. On Mondays & Wednesdays, I will stop by my home in between my class and internship to let the dogs out and give them attention before leaving. Other than that, I am home full time. I will care for your furbaby as if they are mine. They will get undivided attention and love. I will always make sure your furbaby goes back to you happy and healthy.
“Olivia was a life saver! We’re out of town and had to visit the hospital so we had to figure out what to do with our dog! Olivia responded right away and we were at her house in less than 10 min dropping off our pup! She was very kind and we know our dog was well cared for while we were out. It was too easy! Thank you so so much Olivia!”

Keeping pets on a consistent routine is a priority for me, and I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while staying in my home. Both my partner and I work from home full-time, which allows us to be highly attentive to your pet’s needs and provide supervision throughout the day. I have a fenced yard, a flexible schedule, nearby walking trails, and two friendly dogs to help visiting pets feel comfortable. Pets staying with me are supervised closely, treated like family, and given plenty of exercise, attention, and a calm home environment during their stay.

“Luliia was amazing with my toy poodle! She is my world so I made sure to look at reviews very carefully and she did not disappoint!! She sent me pics and videos of my baby everyday and Eevee looked like she had a blast and made new friends. I will definitely be booking with Luliia again. So happy we found someone who we could trust with our tiny 5 pound treasure.”

“Morgan and her family were amazing! She was very communicative and took a great care of my dog while I was out of town. On our meet and greet, my dog was reactive and took for a while to warm up but she was very patient and understanding. I recommend her to everyone!”

“Anthony was by at the best choice we could have made for our dogs. Anthony has an understanding and love of dogs that made the feel comfortable with him from the moment we dropped them off. I will definitely be booking with Anthony again.”

“Happy to find new, local matters for our kids. Tiffany was easy to work and communicate with during their stay. Got daily pics and updates during our trip. Will definitely be using them on future trips.”

“The backyard gave Tucker lots of high quality play time and Desmond & Robyn were fantastic at sending me pictures of Tucker intermittently throughout the day. Next time I am in need of a sitter, Desmond & Robyn will definitely be my first choice. Highly recommend!”

“Where to begin? Youna and Nick were fabulous hosts for our kitty! They followed my kitty’s routine to a tee and sent excellent updates with the most beautiful pictures of our baby. I HIGHLY recommend these two and will definitely be booking again with them in the future 😊”

“Stephanie was an absolutely AMAZING sitter! My pup is fear-reactive and this was my first time leaving her with a Rover sitter so I was a bit nervous, but Stephanie took such good care of her and made sure I had plenty of picture and video updates. :) I’m looking forward to booking with her again!!”

“Lexi really enjoyed being there and I have nothing but good things to say about these two. I appreciate them coming through for me and keeping lexi happy in my absence!”

“Adriana is the only person I let my anxious dog, Maggie, stay with! Mags is pretty anxious and takes a minute to warm up to people. Adriana always does a great job at keeping her comfortable and happy. She’s always sending me pictures of how happy Mag is with her which always makes me feel so much better. She also brings Mag back with cute bandanas and treats which is a plus! Highly highly recommend!”

“Took amazing care of our boy, sent regular picture and message updates of walks / chill time etc and obviously treated him like a member of the family. He’s home and happy and I know he’d be supper comfortable there again.”

“Aine and Jared are my go-to sitters here in Austin. Their attention to detail and communication is unmatched. Stella loves spending time at their house and playing with Fionn!”

“Mariana took good care of Prince as he was sick during his visit. She even took awesome photos of him that were later given to me towards the drop off. I most highly recommend Mariana. Thank you so much 😊”

“Morgan was amazing with our sweet dog Harley. Harley is typically anxious and timid with new friends, but Morgan made her feel right at home and she was her happy, goofy and playful self immediately. It made our travels so much easier knowing that she was comfortable and enjoying herself while we were away. Morgan was great about sending lots of photos and updates throughout our trip so our family could see the puppy adventures she was getting into herself. Will absolutely book with Morgan over and over again. Thank you, Morgan!”
“We left our dog Stanley with Edwin and his wonderful family for a 9-day stay, and they did a fantastic job! Edwin kept us updated with photos and messages, showing Stanley eating, getting brushed, going on walks, and settling in. Anytime I checked in, Edwin was quick to respond and always communicative. We had a great feeling about the stay after a meet-and-greet with Edwin and his family a week before our trip. From the moment we arrived, Edwin took the leash and was confidently in control of Stanley. We’ve done meet-and-greets before where the sitter gives your dog a few pats and focuses more on chatting with you. This was more like a test drive, where Edwin paid close attention to how Stanley handled the new environment. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they took the responsibility seriously and that Stanley would be well cared for while we were away. Stanley is pretty easy going... until it thunders. Then he becomes very anxious. Unfortunately, there were a few storms while we were away. We left medication to help, but it takes awhile to kick in and it sometimes only takes the edge off. If you have a dog like this, you feel pretty helpless during these storms. There is no magic fix. You make them as comfortable as possible, but the only way "out" is getting through the storm. Edwin was proactive with the medication, and along with his family, helped Stanley ride out those storms as well as we could have ourselves. We’re grateful to Edwin and his family for taking such great care of Stanley and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Jade is so sweet! She had our 4 month old puppy for 4 nights and was very communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. My dog loved playing with her dog Hiccup and they did lots of fun activities together. Will be booking again!”
