About: As a kid in California, I loved cats but never FULLY understood them until I was an adult. Cats, as they say, are a lesson in consent; they are the Zen masters who teach us the way; they are the speaker through whom we come to accept what the world actually is; they are a puzzle one must be humble enough to accept we're still trying to figure out; they are the authentic companion who can join us within our solitude. Dogs were domesticated to be obedient and friendly and dependent but cats walk alongside us as if they're also equally as interested in figuring out the complex and confusing world as we are. I've been a full-time pet sitter for 10 years and most of my sits were with cats (there were lots of pack-style boarding in Salt Lake City for dogs!); at the start of our relationship, calm and quiet on my part allowed the kitties to open up and therefore "teach" me via their behavior what they were saying. About: Because of my dog, I’ve never had a cat. But that doesn’t stop me from learning more about them and petting every one I come across. I have watched multiple cats including neighbors, friends, and people on rover. I’m currently taking care of 7 stray cats in my neighborhood. It started with one and now every time I step outside my house there’s at least one. I lose track of time when I’m outside with the kitties. A few years ago, I lost my soul dog, Luck, to cancer, and more recently, my 1-year-old cat, Mio, to heart failure. I have my own dog that I have had since he was a puppy that is very well trained would love to meet other dogs and experience new fur friends. I work at home and I take breaks very very often. About: I'm such an animal lover. Grew up with dogs, horses, cats and many different animals. I have a very sweet 7 years old fixed male Goldendoodle and a 15 years old male Pug who would love to make some new friends! I live in a nice size house with a locked fenced backyard. Your dog/s will feel like he/she is at home here. They are allowed on the couch to rest and I have a big nice Kuranda bed and couch they can lay on. Plenty of dog toys and chews here. I let dogs out in a fenced yard very often. Love to take them out for walks too! I'm always at home and I will be very communicative via texts I will send pictures to the owners daily so they know their babies are happy and safe :) I'm always at home. I work short hours from 5-8pm. They will go outside to potty often. Every 2-3 hours. A big bowl of filtered water is always provided here. I have a fenced yard and got a big play pen crate if your dog prefers to be crated. I will feed am/pm and even noon if they eat 3x a day.

About: I have experience in several different areas I worked in an emergency pet hospital, animal clinic, animal shelters and spay and neuter clinics. I also grew up with constant pets. I have experience as a veterinarian technician and kennel tech (3 years). I'm currently a stay at home mom to a homeschooler so my schedule is fairly open I can always move things around if needed as I don't have to stick to a certain schedule. I have a fenced area in my backyard so your fur baby can always have a safe space to use the bathroom. About: My mom owns a doggy day care and boarding business that I quite frequently volunteered at. I have two small indoor french bulldogs of my own, whom of which are very spoiled! I have owned dogs my whole life and treat them as part of the family, not just as a pet. I am available Monday and tuesdays, and anytime after 1 pm -5pm any other day of the week! I am currently an employee at Austin Bergstrom from 03:00-11:30am on Wednesday-Sunday. I was looking for a second form of income, but only if it meant doing something I loved, which is spending time with dogs. I am never bothered and I understand that dogs will be dogs, I have the all the patience! Being a Frenchie mom, I totally understand the specific details well because I am that type of doggy mom myself. “Grace and Alan were absolutely amazing. We had an emergency trip and were so lucky to have found them. They accommodated us for a meet and greet so our pup could get acquainted with their adorable and very sweet dogs. They are all so warm and incredibly welcoming, after our initial meeting we immediately felt at ease leaving our pup in their care. They have a perfect backyard for dogs to play and get lots of exercise, they consistently sent updates and lots of pictures and videos so we had no worries the whole time we were away. It’s very clear how much they truly care about dogs, our pup was definitely well loved and pampered in their home 😊 They are the perfect pet parents and we would not hesitate to leave our pup in their care again!”
