“Camille was amazing with the cats, sent great pictures and updates. Even got our shy cat to come out once while she was taking care of them. She was even sweet enough to grab an Amazon package that had been delivered and bring it inside. Thanks Camille!”

“Lindsey was hands down, the best dog sitter we have ever had. Although there was heavy rain for several days, she took the extra time to make sure both dogs went to the bathroom & cleaned off their paws each time. We were gone for 8 days & came home to two very happy dogs & a clean house. I cannot recommend her enough!”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs for most of my life and caring for animals is something I truly love. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routines, and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I have experience caring for senior pets and those with special needs, including administering medications, supporting mobility challenges, and providing a calm, patient environment. I know how important consistency and gentle care are, especially for pets who need a little extra attention. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or quiet companionship, I’ll treat your pet like my own and make sure they’re happy, healthy, and loved every step of the way. I currently have cats of my own but they are used to other pets in the home, including dogs. Additionally, I offer complimentary meet and greets prior to petting your pet, to see if it’s a good fit. I work from home and my schedule is flexible, so I’m able to interact with and love on your fur baby all day. I can also pick up and drop off your little one if need be. I do have a few cats of my own, so if you have a kitty needing care, it may be best for me to care for them in their own environment. My cats are used to other pets though, including dogs, so they are more than welcome in my home. I also have a fenced-in yard with a lot of room for your dog to run around and live in a neighborhood conducive to walks.
“Jessica was available on short notice for a few drop ins while we had to leave town. She did amazing and it was fun to see how one of our more difficult dogs started warming up to her so quickly. 11/10!”

“Julia is the best! She’s been regularly taking care of my Great Dane puppy (who can be a bit of a handful) for the past year and is absolutely phenomenal! Julia’s very friendly, trustworthy, reliable, patient, and caring. I can tell she treats my dog with the same compassion and love she gives to her pets at home! We love having Julia in our home!”

“Stephanie does a great job with my cat. She does more than just feed and clean up, she spends time with the cat. She shows up reliably and takes photos to document the visit. We'll call her again, for sure!”

“Diane is an awesome dog sitter. She loves all dogs and understand their needs. She first came to my house to meet my dog Willie, and they immediately connected. Diane gained my trust right away and when we were out of town she took a great care of Willie and sent me updated and pictures. I do recommend Diane and will definitely contact her before my next trip.”

“Juliana took really great care of our cat and dog while we were out and was respectful of our home! She was responsive and gave us detailed reports everyday, giving us peace of mind. The pets were happy and healthy when we got back and we can't wait to have her come back to pet-sit next time we're going out of town!”
“Whitney was fantastic! She was reliable and was friendly with my cat, Fritz. She also took on a last minute booking when my flight was delayed and I couldn't get home in time. Would definitely recommend and will book with her again!”

About: I was raised on a farm, giving me lifelong experience caring for animals of all kinds. I also foster and adopt pets, and I treat every animal like family. I provide dependable, loving care and understand that every pet deserves patience, attention, and plenty of affection while you’re away. I work remotely weekdays until 2:00 PM, so I’m available most afternoons and evenings for pet care. During the school year, I’m also available for morning visits after 8:00 AM. I have two young children who often accompany me on errands, so I’m best suited for friendly, child-comfortable pets. I’m flexible, reliable, and happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure fenced yard, pet-friendly dogs, cats, and children, and I’m responsible, reliable, respectful of your home, privacy, and your pet’s unique needs.
About: With 10 years of hands-on experience in caring for animals, I am passionate about providing the best care and attention to pets. I thrive in environments where I can be surrounded by animals, and their presence genuinely enhances my day. My goal is to pursue a career as a veterinarian, where I can continue to care for and improve the lives of pets. I am dedicated to ensuring the well-being of all animals and am eager to contribute my expertise and love for pets to a professional setting. I’m currently on summer break and available full-time for pet care until school starts back in August. This gives me a flexible schedule to provide dedicated attention, walks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day based on your pet’s needs. I have a dedicated space in my home for the pets I care for, complete with toys for playtime and a designated feeding area. I also have a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time and potty breaks. I always make sure pets are fed at the times requested and that they have fresh water available at all times. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while maintaining your pet’s regular routine.

“Again Erin made my pup's day by dropping in on them when I had a long day out of the house planned. She allowed me to slide the schedule a little bit which really helped. This made her visit line up with dinner time and I'm sure the girls love it. Thanks again Erin.”

“Melinda did a fantastic job for taking care of my sick fur puppy. I felt comfortable and at ease with Melinda looking after Coco and she kept me updated with photos every visit. Would happily have her look after CoCo again. I would highly recommend Melinda.”

About: Animals have been at the center of my world for as long as I can remember; I grew up in a family that owned cats since before I was born, and I’ve been learning how to care for them since early childhood—even hand-rearing a newborn kitten when I was just 12. Today, I care for my own two cats, look after four more for senior family members, and have regularly dog-sat a friend's Corgi for nearly two years. I'm currently working a flexible schedule. So I have plenty of opportunity to help out with your pets and whichever needs they may have. I have a great dog park at my apartment. I have all of the necessary skills and equipment to take care of your fur baby. I also have 2 cats that can keep your pet company, but I can easily isolate them if necessary.

About: Hello my name is Ivana. I’m available for dog sitting, dog walking, dog boarding, and doggy daycare I have done pet sitting and dog walking for 15 years and counting for family and friends. I have volunteered at multiple shelters, working with dogs and cats. I enjoy going for long walks through the park with cute pups and playing with them to their hearts content. Whether your dog is a puppy, old, big, small, friendly, shy, hyper, relaxed, or whatever makes your pup unique, I am here to lend a helping hand in providing excellent care for your furry best friend! Looking forward to meeting you all! Currently I am available for dog walking and check ins and boarding for dogs and cats. I am available on weekdays and weekends anytime before eight pm! I respect how your fur baby wants to be engaged with. I take interacting with them at their own pace. I have my own two cats that are good with dogs and other cats. I have a fenced in back yard and comfortable with crating animals.
“Jenisa was wonderful! She was available on short notice, which we truly appreciated. She arrived on time, communicated well, and even sent us pictures during her visit. We were very pleased with how she cared for our three cats and would absolutely recommend her!”

About: Hello! My name is Jade and I would love to meet your furry friends! I started Rover a few years ago but had to stop due to time constraints from my full time job, but now I’m committing all my time to pet care. Currently, I have three cats and two dogs, who are all rescues. I’ve had both of my dogs since they were only a few months old. So I understand the trials and tribulations of puppyhood…puppy training, crate training, obedience training, and leash walking. Hiccup and Paris both love other dogs! They have experience with dogs of all sizes! Hiccup is more of a cuddler and couch potato. Paris is higher energy and loves to play. They would be so excited to have a dog come stay with them. Feel free to set up a meet and greet! I stay at home full time now and my husband also works from home. So your pet will have constant adult supervision during their stay. I have a fenced backyard and a fenced play area in my neighborhood. I also live really close to a large public park with walking trails.

“Christina is terrific as always. Great communication and so helpful to fit me in at the last minute. Finn is always happily tuckered out and I never have any worries when I know she’s coming by.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Uhland. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
