About: I adopted my first dog when she was 6 months old, and she has been my best friend since! She is a Siberian Husky nearing 12 years old now. Aside from caring for my pup and cat, I have experience helping neighbors and family care for their pets. 😊 I work as a dental hygienist during the week. I am free in the evenings after work and all day on the weekends! I am happy to work around your schedule. My availability is typically as follows: • M-W after 4 • TH/F before 7:30am and after 5pm • Weekends all day I have a fenced in yard at my home; however, I am not offering boarding at this time due to my schedule. I hope to offer this in the future.

About: I am a 50 year-old woman. I have had dogs all but 10 years of my life. I adore them and they tend to love me as well. I am not intimidated by larger, stronger dogs. I have a little farm so I am accustomed to other animals as well and I realize the difficulty in finding someone to take care of all of them while you're away. I am comfortable with dogs, cats, chickens, and horses. I can care for a smaller animals as well, but I only have experience with lizards and tarantulas. I work evenings, so I'm available mornings until 1:30 and then again at 11pm. I don't generally stay over, but I can come up to 3 times per day. If you are on the east side of or close to I-35 in Kyle or on the north east side of San Marcos, contact me for fantastic service! I believe in a clean environment to maintain health for the animals. I do have a few cats of my own, so if you have a kitty needing care, it may be best for me to care for them in their own environment. My cats are used to other pets though, including dogs, so they are more than welcome in my home. I also have a fenced-in yard with a lot of room for your dog to run around and live in a neighborhood conducive to walks.

About: I grew up caring for dogs of different shapes and sizes as well as other small pets like hamsters and fish. I’ve also had a cockatiel as well as love birds. My family and I love to board pets since we don’t currently have any, but that’s just more attention to share with yours. I am a personal trainer / nutrition coach with a very early morning / some evenings schedule. I have gaps in my day that I use to do drop in visits when many are working away from home. I’m usually up and moving at 3:30a, back home by 6a, and work from home most of the day, with some meetings away from home from time to time. We go down around 8:30p to get ready for the next day and get some sleepy time. Our home has a fenced in backyard for them to play in and pups are free to roam inside. In your home I will respect whatever boundaries are set. In our home we tend to keep people places separate from pup places, so typically we don’t allow them on couches, and definitely not beds. We do keep individual rooms off limits. Normally we do not feed them people food unless it’s provided by the owner as we don’t want to encourage hanging out under the table or in the kitchen. For boarding at our home *we prefer crate trained pups* as they need boundaries and their own space to help them be comfortable in a new environment. They may behave one way at your home and a totally different way somewhere else, and it’s best to lean more cautiously to prevent any unexpected mischief and / or damage. Under certain circumstances we can work with a dog that is not crate trained, but we need to meet them first and they need to be super mellow. We’ve had a few escape artists who have gotten into things and even caused some damage. I have a very early morning schedule and knowing exactly where the pup is located is very helpful in the dark. We also have an older family member living with us as well, so we want to avoid as many late night surprises as possible. We are a very mellow family that is home a lot due to the type of work we do. If your pup is SUPER high energy and needs lots of activity, constant attention and wants to go outside every five minutes we may not be the best fit for you as we spend a lot of time doing crafts, reading, drawing, stuff like that. Our jobs are very active so when we are home we like to rest and chill out with the animal guests.

About: My mom owns a doggy day care and boarding business that I quite frequently volunteered at. I have two small indoor french bulldogs of my own, whom of which are very spoiled! I have owned dogs my whole life and treat them as part of the family, not just as a pet. I am available Monday and tuesdays, and anytime after 1 pm -5pm any other day of the week! I am currently an employee at Austin Bergstrom from 03:00-11:30am on Wednesday-Sunday. I was looking for a second form of income, but only if it meant doing something I loved, which is spending time with dogs. I am never bothered and I understand that dogs will be dogs, I have the all the patience! Being a Frenchie mom, I totally understand the specific details well because I am that type of doggy mom myself. I myself understand the frustration of leaving your fur-babies somewhere and not getting those specific updates, I get it! No request is ‘too much’, I rather you be straight forward with me, so we could be on the same page 100%.

I only offer drop-in visits in the client’s home (no overnight stays) because I live in an apartment and my three cats are a little shy with other animals. I provide a 30 min stay were I feed, clean litter, play and provide any additional needs for the pet
