I have two dogs at home to keep your furry companion occupied. We have a big fenced in yard for the dogs to go play. Fresh water and healthy treats are given often. About: I have had a few dogs from friends and families that I have taken care of over the years for free. I have my own dog that I have had since he was a puppy that is very well trained would love to meet other dogs and experience new fur friends. I work at home and I take breaks very very often. I go to my backyard and even parks just to walk. I would love to take them for walks as well. I have a fenced in backyard and my dogs go out often. Morning, Afternoon, and 2 times in the evening. Just to make sure dogs use the bathroom and get that energy out before they fall asleep.

About: I grew up with dogs, and always had a love for dogs. I don’t have dogs currently at home because I believe in helping others with their dogs and I’m trying to figure out what kind of dog I will adopt later on. I currently am self-employed so my schedule is flexible. Usually have errands but it takes less than a few hours. I make sure dogs are first priority though. My house is spacious- no dangerous edges for dogs to run into. I also have a fenced yard where dogs can roam. I also believe in keeping my house clutterfree so dogs cannot get into things. Take them on walks if required as well.

About: Since I was 7, I cared for my own emotional support rescue dog who was an adorable chihuahua rat terrier mix! Growing up with pets while managing anxiety allowed me to direct my focus on them when I was struggling, which created a deeper passion and care for all animals. I'm a very empathetic and honest person, which created a frequent habit of caring for the pets of friends & family while they were on vacation. A funny anecdote to share, my family actually unanimously decided to fly to Las Vegas to buy an RV, solely for the ability to bring our cats & dogs on our travels! I've seen 4 of my own pets into seniority (my cats both lived to their 20s & 2 dog to late teens), so I'm well versed in geriatric (elderly/senior) care and know how much patience & love our older fur friends need, as well as how messy and tricky it can get. I've grown up with a family who cares so deeply for their animals that they're very much seen as our family members, and due to this, we've seldom let our dogs be cared for even by people we're close to. My number one priority is to establish a sense of trust with both you and your pet, in whatever ways bring you the most ease. I adore all animals - I've even done wildlife rehabilitation too! I'm very open and encouraging to meet-and-greets before care is established to make sure your dog or cat is happy with me, as well as hear about any preferences your pet may have and establish trust with the owners. I'm working on getting my certification in school, so currently my schedule is very flexible and I can move things around to work with your schedule really well! I'll be available most weekdays after 2pm & I can do weekends as well, though occasionally I spend them hiking :). For the summer months (typically worst in July + August here in Texas), I'd like to note I intend to be very aware of the warm days to watch for heatstroke & bring additional water with me. The temperature of the sidewalk can easily be enough to cause pain to paws, especially on sunny days, so when the temperature and weather gets dodgy I may contact you about it beforehand to ensure your pup never suffers! I'd love to do a free meet & greet before further care is established in order to build a sense of trust and acceptance with both your pet, and you. I want to ensure your dog or cat feels accepting of me before I spend time with them, I'm eager to learn any specific preferences or behaviors specific to your pet, and I'd love to hear what puts your mind at ease when allowing another person to care for such a beloved companion - such as photo updates or frequent text updates from me. I take extreme care to not let any escape artists sneak through doors, and I cross the sidewalk to avoid other dogs or people to keep your pet safe. I'll walk at your dog's pace and stay attentive to make sure they're enjoying it. If I'm visiting your home, all will be left exactly as I found it. If it's a rainy and muddy day, I'll do my best to keep your place clean from your pet. I won't give your pet treats without explicit permission in case of dietary restrictions, but I'll tell them all about how good & adorable they are! I have no problem administering medication and I'm comfortable with all ages, sizes, and breeds. 95% of my job is working from home, because of that I am quite flexible in my schedule. On occasion, I do travel for work/personal but will do my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date. My home is pet free, which means your pup will get my full attention! I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. I have a nice sized patio that is fully covered. The area has a lot of green space and sidewalks perfect for a long stroll. There is also a dog park available if your dog particularly enjoys being social. I allow dogs on my furniture and bed, however have no issue with sticking to the rules if that is not part of your daily routine.

About: Whenever I visit friends and family with animals, my attention is more drawn to their fur babies. My objective is to retire someday and own a farm with every type of animal I can have. My unique way of wanting to be with animals is seen with everyone and anyone I encounter through life. I am currently working as a full-time substitute teacher. My weekends are completely open and early evenings during the week. I do have my own cat who lives in my bedroom by choice. She is friendly, but loves to sleep, eat, and roam my room on her time. Her name is Lowla, her nickname is loaf. My yard is fenced. However, I do have a below ground pool. I would be outside with any pet that I am sitting for while allowing them to roam around in my backyard. I don't even let my Gracy without me in the backyard.
