About: I have always loved both cats and dogs I live in a decent sized home with my cat parsnip, I’m home all the time now so I’ll be able to keep a close eye on any animal in my care I am currently between jobs so I will be home all day making my schedule ideal for any dogs who need constant supervision or have separation anxiety I like to spend as much Time as possible with the pets in my home I leave most of my doors open so they have free reign of the house. Ill walk the dogs in the morning and after and make sure they get plenty of play time in before the sun goes down
“Kalena and her other dog crew were fantastic. Watson is a bit older, this year he will be 11. He gets lots of walks at home but this gives him other dogs to interact with more to break up his routine. We appreciate your attention and care of him.”

“Pochi was in a great hands with Madeline! She kept me posted throughout the day, along with sending pictures. I loved seeing him have a great time with both Madeline and his new friend, Snax! We will definitely be booking again when we’re needing a sitter.”

“Highly recommend! My dog has dementia which means he's constantly having his brains turn more and more into mash potatoes. Patches was able to provide exceptional care with all his special needs and I never worried about him bc he was in such good hands! 😻 Meow!”

“Emily was awesome! She took great care of Gojo while my boyfriend and I visited Aquarium of the Pacific, and even let her pup Cali play with him. We could tell Gojo had a blast! Highly recommend Emily when you're in the area! 😊”

“We had a fantastic first experience! From the start, she was attentive and asked great questions to fully understand Rudy's needs. The constant updates with photos and videos made my day and gave me total peace of mind. I will definitely be using her services again and would recommend her to anyone!”

About: *10 minutes from Austin Bergstrom Airport* Hi there! I’m Stevie, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My partner Brandon and I make a great team and we love opening our home to pets and making sure they feel safe, loved, and completely at ease while you’re away. Your pup will stay in a clean, cozy environment where routines are followed, needs are met, and cuddles are always available. We treat every dog like our own (which means spoiled in the best way). You’ll receive regular photo/video updates so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy and in good hands. Whether your pet needs special accommodations, extra attention, or just a comfortable place to nap, we’re here to make sure their stay is pleasant. When your dog stays with us, they become part of our little family. Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and we’d love to meet your fur baby soon! Brandon and I both work from home, so your pup will always have someone around for company, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of love. We already have two dogs of our own, so caring for additional pups fits naturally into our daily routine. Our clean home and fully fenced backyard make it easy to keep everyone safe, comfortable, and happy throughout the day. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. In our home, Brandon and I maintain a clean, supervised, and pet-friendly environment where your dog can relax and feel secure. We follow your care instructions closely—feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and any special needs are always taken seriously. Unlike a noisy boarding facility, your dog will enjoy a calm home setting with regular potty breaks, personalized attention, and a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time. We treat every dog like part of our family and make sure they always feel seen, valued, and cared for. Please feel free to schedule a meet and greet!
About: I have had a few dogs from friends and families that I have taken care of over the years for free. I have my own dog that I have had since he was a puppy that is very well trained would love to meet other dogs and experience new fur friends. I work at home and I take breaks very very often. I go to my backyard and even parks just to walk. I would love to take them for walks as well. I have a fenced in backyard and my dogs go out often. Morning, Afternoon, and 2 times in the evening. Just to make sure dogs use the bathroom and get that energy out before they fall asleep.

About: I've been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. Throughout my life, I have had five dogs and two cats, along with many smaller pets including a hermit crab, hamsters, fish, and other small animals. When I was younger, I even dreamed of becoming a veterinarian because I've always had a passion for caring for animals. While my career ultimately took me in a different direction, that love for animals has never changed. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, playtime, and making pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I'll care for your pets as if they were my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in caring, dependable hands. I'm currently working from home, so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets. I have wide availability to play with the pets. I have a fenced yard and 2 cats and a dog to keep your pets company. The house is spacious, so if your pets need some quiet time, they can be easily put in one of the pet rooms or even run around in the living room!

About: Hello! My name is Jade and I would love to meet your furry friends! I started Rover a few years ago but had to stop due to time constraints from my full time job, but now I’m committing all my time to pet care. Currently, I have three cats and two dogs, who are all rescues. I’ve had both of my dogs since they were only a few months old. So I understand the trials and tribulations of puppyhood…puppy training, crate training, obedience training, and leash walking. Hiccup and Paris both love other dogs! They have experience with dogs of all sizes! Hiccup is more of a cuddler and couch potato. Paris is higher energy and loves to play. They would be so excited to have a dog come stay with them. Feel free to set up a meet and greet! I stay at home full time now and my husband also works from home. So your pet will have constant adult supervision during their stay. I have a fenced backyard and a fenced play area in my neighborhood. I also live really close to a large public park with walking trails.
“Olivia was a life saver! We’re out of town and had to visit the hospital so we had to figure out what to do with our dog! Olivia responded right away and we were at her house in less than 10 min dropping off our pup! She was very kind and we know our dog was well cared for while we were out. It was too easy! Thank you so so much Olivia!”

“Yesenia is always the best sitter for our pup. She has wonderful communication and makes me feel so comfortable leaving my dog with her. She sends lots of photos and makes you feel reassured that your pup is in the best hands!”

“I am writing this after the first week of daycare for my young lab and could not be more pleased with the care and attention she is receiving. Lola has “endless energy” and came home exhausted every day! Ashley has provided great communication throughout and I would recommend highly.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 2,606 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Mustang Ridge. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Mustang Ridge commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,606 sitters in Mustang Ridge, 84% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
