About: I have been taking care of dogs for a long time, I love them and their energy, either they are super active and want to go for a run with you (totally up to do that) or they just want a slow, easy walk to relax and enjoy! Up for that as well! I also have my own dog, that is 7 years old already. I have a pretty flexible schedule, so I can accommodate their needs, depending on what they are used to. My routine is also pretty flexible from day to day. So it is just a matter to understand what they need and fit it on the schedule. I follow the suggestions and guidelines from their owners, at the end of the day they are the ones that know their pet better than anyone! So, it’s simple try to keep them as close as to what they are used to as possible!

About: I've had dogs in the house since I was 6, and today I share mine with Bucky, my bff rescue shepherd — self-trained from day one, with a rock-solid heel and off-leash recall to show for it. I offer dog walking, house-sitting, and check-in visits, and I'm happy to fold in whatever training habits you already have in place — reinforcing heel, working on walking etiquette, or just making sure your pup gets a solid outing (Onion Creek trails included, if that fits). I work from home part-time, so my schedule is flexible and I’m home for most of the day — no long stretches where a dog would be left alone. I’m consistent with morning and evening walks, and add a midday walk when weather allows. Throughout the day, dogs get playtime and treats woven into the routine, not just tacked on at the end. I also have a car with a dog-proofed backseat, which makes vet runs, park trips, or pickups/drop-offs easy and low-stress. Every visit is built around the pet’s normal routine — feeding, walks, and playtime stay consistent with what they’re used to. I keep a close eye for safety indoors and out, secure gates/doors, and make sure water and food are always accessible. For transport, my car has a dog-proofed backseat. I check in regularly and adjust based on each pet’s comfort level and needs.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have had my own dogs over the past 12 years. My friends would say I’m something of a “dog whisperer” because I connect with them on a deep level. I strive to understand them and make sure they are as happy as they possibly can be. That means understanding what dogs natural tendencies are and what stimulates them then using that information to tailor an amazing experience for that dog. I see them as individuals (as we all should) and I offer them nothing but my respect. I think this gives me a unique approach to caring and loving the animals in my life. I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible! I can start and stop based off the needs of you and your little buddy! I’m happy to accommodate what you need! For visits, the first think I asses is safety for myself and your pet. I also make sure I have a firm understanding of your pets needs and as well as any additional instructions you have for me. I have a very calming presence around dogs no matter how much they might bark at first or feel weary - it’s natural for them to react. So I take the time, if needed, to earn your dogs trust by letting them take their time to warm up to me.

About: I have taken care of many animals for the past 9 years and enjoy meeting each and every one. I am very familiar with dachshunds, corgis, pit bulls, and chihuahuas, but am open to any and all pets. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is very open and flexible. Your pet will be in great care to not get left alone. I have a fenced yard and a baby gate to keep pets from walking up stairs if they have issues with trying to walk up stairs. I can kennel pets if needed as well as supply a water and food bowl.

About: I reside in South West Austin. My experience includes puppies, adult and senior dogs. I have experience with giving medication, resource guarding, food aggression, and reactive dogs. I also have experience with cats as well through my own two. I’m currently working remote so plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I am completely open on weekends and weekdays. I prefer to do house sitting or boarding. I like to maintain an active lifestyle which includes plenty of walking and playing. I do not have a fenced yard so if boarding, I will need to walk your dog. I am right by a huge park so plenty of room to roam and sniff! I have a large livingroom so if crating is needed then no problem! I personally prefer against crating unless absolutely necessary. I like to treat them as if they are my own pet! Lot’s of cuddles and access to the couch and bed. I send plenty of updates and photos for each day.

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs and cats of all ages & with each experience I can tell they care of me as well by just being cute and comfy and some even cuddly too. My schedule is pretty flexible. I would love to enjoy my time with a furry friend & can offer pick-up and drop-off services to the airport and back as well for any additional tips. About: I consider myself a dog lover since I was a kid! I grew up with two dogs and have been dogsitting for three years now. My wife and I have a lovely, very friendly Chihuahua, his name is Domingo and he’s 1 year old. We recently moved from Downtown Austin where we used to dog sit for our neighbors and people in our building - from puppies to senior dogs (small-medium size only). Looking to meet more dogs in the area to take care of! I'm currently searching for a job and decided to join Rover as a dogsitter in the meantime. About: I had my first dog 16 years ago and when he passed, I literally dedicated my life to continuing his legacy. I quit a stable job and started a small business for dogs and their pawrents just to be able to surround myself with the little souls I love most! Throughout the years, I also rescued another dog, who I dogsat often and she lived a beautiful life with my family. I cared for countless friends’ dogs, as well, including my sister’s senior dog with multiple health issues. I am active physically and frequently run or walk around the neighborhood, so I figured I could add some company to my daily walks! Walking/running around my neighborhood is part of my daily routine as a small business owner, so I’d be happy to walk your pups as we can keep eachother company! I will always ask if there is anything I need to know about your pup before walking them. I take the necessary precautions before walking them and will inform you if I feel it may be too hot to walk your pup at the time requested. I will also ensure that there is enough space between dogs to help prevent stress or anxiety when interactions may occur. If they need a potty break, I make sure to pick up after them at no extra charge… because a clean neighborhood makes a great neighborhood :)

About: Growing up, my home was filled with animals of all kinds from small to large dogs including Dachshund, Husky, and medium to large mixed breed dogs, as well as an outdoor cat, fish, hermit crabs, lizards, and birds. Premium or extended care needs including last minute bookings, extended radius travel, or continuous supervision up to about 8 hours can be accommodated and quoted based on your specific situation. My current schedule is pretty flexible. For drop-ins I'm typically available after 8 am until 9 pm in the evenings. I can do drop ins, walks, and/or doggy day/night sitting. I am happy to give your animals my undivided attention as I walk them or play with them at your residence. I'm very clean, considerate, and attuned to animals.
