The number of hours away can be discussed on a case-by-case basis. ~ Safety ~ I prefer meeting my new client pets at their home or a dog park since that seems the most convenient for clients and comfortable for the pets. As per Rover’s terms & conditions, I prefer to keep communication via the Rover app, for my safety and the clients! Of course, once a booking has been confirmed, my clients can pass along their cell phone # for emergencies.

About: My name is Becky and I moved to Austin in 2018 from Miami. I grew up with indoor/outdoor cats and smaller dogs. I work a 8-4 Monday-Friday job but am available after 4:30pm anywhere in Austin and during the week and midday for South Austin visits/walks. I currently the proud parent of an orange tabby and regularly dog and cat sit. I love a chance to meet a new buddy. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have had my own dogs over the past 12 years. My friends would say I’m something of a “dog whisperer” because I connect with them on a deep level. I strive to understand them and make sure they are as happy as they possibly can be. That means understanding what dogs natural tendencies are and what stimulates them then using that information to tailor an amazing experience for that dog. I see them as individuals (as we all should) and I offer them nothing but my respect. I think this gives me a unique approach to caring and loving the animals in my life. I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible! I can start and stop based off the needs of you and your little buddy! I’m happy to accommodate what you need! For visits, the first think I asses is safety for myself and your pet. I also make sure I have a firm understanding of your pets needs and as well as any additional instructions you have for me. I have a very calming presence around dogs no matter how much they might bark at first or feel weary - it’s natural for them to react. So I take the time, if needed, to earn your dogs trust by letting them take their time to warm up to me.

About: I have been blessed with many wonderful pets in my life, both big and small! I currently own a horse, Felix. Unfortunately, my dog Alfie passed at 17 years old in January. Although I am not quite ready for a new in home pet of my own, I'd love to help you with yours! I have owned both cats and dogs through my life from puppy/kitten stage to senior life. I have experience with watching dogs, cats, and horses. I have no problem administering medication and I'm comfortable with all ages, sizes, and breeds. 95% of my job is working from home, because of that I am quite flexible in my schedule. On occasion, I do travel for work/personal but will do my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date. My home is pet free, which means your pup will get my full attention! I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. I have a nice sized patio that is fully covered. The area has a lot of green space and sidewalks perfect for a long stroll. There is also a dog park available if your dog particularly enjoys being social. I allow dogs on my furniture and bed, however have no issue with sticking to the rules if that is not part of your daily routine.
