My wife and I have cared for dogs and cats throughout our lives, and pets have always been a big part of our families. Between our immediate families, there are currently six pets that we’ve regularly helped care for and pet-sit over the years. We especially love dogs and genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or simply keeping them company. We recently lost a dog who was deeply loved, and caring for pets through Rover became a meaningful way for us to continue sharing that love and attention. Since then, we’ve adopted a corgi who has been part of our family for over three years now. We understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and we strive to provide a safe, caring, and comfortable environment where they feel right at home.

Safety, trust & environment
I’ve had my home dog-proofed for quite some time for my own pet, so I’m very mindful about creating a safe and comfortable environment. I understand that some dogs may chew on things they find, so I make an effort to keep the home clean and free of anything that could cause issues. I also like to keep toys available to help pets stay entertained, and I have a nearby park where they can enjoy walks, playtime, and exercise.

We had a great experience with Marvin. He was reliable, communicated well throughout the stay, and asked thoughtful questions upfront to make sure he had everything he needed. He took good care of our pets, handled walks and feedings without issue, and stayed at the house the whole time. Would happily book him again.

Marvin came by our house for daily 1 hour walks while we were out of town for a week. He was reliable, trustworthy and great with our dog.

Schedule
I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree online, which gives me the flexibility to provide pets with plenty of attention and consistent care throughout the day. I enjoy taking dogs on walks around the neighborhood, visiting local parks, and making sure they feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for during their stay.
