About: Hi! I’m Kayla, a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Growing up, I had a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix (Chiweenie) and cats, and I now have a Mini Australian Shepherd who I’ve trained to do basic tricks and enjoy taking on daily walks, playing fetch, and keeping active. I also regularly pet sit my friend’s Goldendoodle, providing walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention. About: Growing up, I often took care of my grandmother’s six dogs, including one of my own. I also helped my aunt raise two puppies she rescued from the side of the road. I became skilled at making sure they were well-fed, clean, and properly cared for. I am a student-athlete so I am busy most of the time during the week at 5am-6:30pm, but I'm available all day during the weekends. When I take care of pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine to help the pets feel safe and happy. I make sure they are fed on time, have fresh water, get bathroom breaks, and have time to play. I also keep the area clean and follow any special instructions, like giving medicine. I like to send updates and photos so the owner knows their pet is doing well.

I’ve often been a go to pet sitter while in high school and would love to be your go to for your fur babies. I have experience with both young and older dogs and cats, so I can adjust based on their energy levels and the type of care they might need.
