About: Hello! Welcome to my profile! :) My name is Yari, me and my husband are both Army veterans who just moved to the area. We are so happy to be here. I’ve taken care of puppies to elderly dogs like (Nacho the pug) for all of his life (all of 16 years) and my Luna for 13 years. I have over 15 years of dog sit/ in-home check-in experience for multiple families. I am kind, gentle and patient with every animal I care for. I work from home, so I will definitely have a lot of time for your furbabies! I am available for house sitting/ doggy day care/walks mostly anytime of any day. I am mostly free to do check ins for your pups in-home depending on what and when you’d prefer. I have 2 friendly furbabies (Luna the yorkie and Fang the Bluey) to keep your pups company. I can crate your pup or they can stretch their legs throughout the house.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs for most of my life and caring for animals is something I truly love. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routines, and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I have experience caring for senior pets and those with special needs, including administering medications, supporting mobility challenges, and providing a calm, patient environment. I know how important consistency and gentle care are, especially for pets who need a little extra attention. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or quiet companionship, I’ll treat your pet like my own and make sure they’re happy, healthy, and loved every step of the way. I currently have cats of my own but they are used to other pets in the home, including dogs. Additionally, I offer complimentary meet and greets prior to petting your pet, to see if it’s a good fit. I work from home and my schedule is flexible, so I’m able to interact with and love on your fur baby all day. I can also pick up and drop off your little one if need be. I do have a few cats of my own, so if you have a kitty needing care, it may be best for me to care for them in their own environment. My cats are used to other pets though, including dogs, so they are more than welcome in my home. I also have a fenced-in yard with a lot of room for your dog to run around and live in a neighborhood conducive to walks.

About: I’m a dependable and caring pet sitter with a lifelong love for animals. I’ve been around animals since I was 5 years old, growing up caring for ranch animals, dogs, cats, and even ferrets. I understand that every animal has its own personality and needs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I live a very active lifestyle. I’m an avid runner and extremely into fitness, so staying consistent, disciplined, and energetic is already a huge part of who I am. Taking care of animals naturally goes hand in hand with that lifestyle because I genuinely enjoy being outdoors, going on walks, staying active, and keeping pets engaged and happy. I take animal safety and comfort very seriously both inside and outside of my home. I have a fully fenced patio area that provides pets with a secure outdoor space for fresh air, playtime, and exercise while staying safe at all times. I also have two dogs of my own who are very friendly, socialized, and used to being around other animals. However, I understand that every pet has different comfort levels and needs, so my dogs can always be safely crated or separated if necessary to ensure visiting pets feel comfortable and stress-free.

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for everything from tiny Chihuahuas to gentle Great Pyrenees, raised puppies from birth, loved senior dogs through their golden years, and cared for rescue dogs with unique personalities and needs. My own family includes four spoiled pups: a 12-year-old Chihuahua, a 12-year-old rescue, and two playful French Bulldog puppies who keep me on my toes every day. They are my babies, and I know that’s exactly how you feel about yours. I understand that hiring a sitter means trusting someone with a member of your family. I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ll treat your pet with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own, while respecting their routine, personality, and all the little things that help them feel happy and secure. I am taking the summer off before returning to school three days a week this fall. That means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to the pets in my care. My own daily routine already revolves around caring for my two dogs, so adding walks, drop-in visits, playtime, or overnight care fits naturally into my day. I carefully plan my schedule so every pet receives the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve rather than feeling rushed between appointments. I treat every pet as if they were my own: with patience, kindness, and respect for their individual personalities and routines. I know that every animal is different, so I take the time to learn their habits, preferences, and any special instructions you provide. Whether that’s medication, feeding schedules, favorite walking routes, or bedtime routines, I believe consistency helps pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m attentive to details, keep a clean environment, and always prioritize your pet’s safety. You’ll also receive regular photo updates and messages so you can relax knowing your furbaby is happy and well cared for.

About: Hi, I'm Dani! I've always believed the world is a little softer because animals are in it. I've spent years caring for pets of every kind through professional pet sitting and my background in veterinary medicine, and somewhere along the way, I realized there isn't much that makes me happier than earning an animal's trust. Whether they're the fearless adventurer who can't wait for a walk, the anxious soul who needs someone patient beside them, or the senior whose favorite hobby is finding the warmest patch of sunlight, I love getting to know them exactly as they are. As a professional photographer by trade, I tend to notice the little things. The happy dance before dinner. The goofy grin after a game of fetch. The slow blink from a cat who's finally decided you're worthy of their friendship. So don't be surprised if your updates include a few frame-worthy portraits along the way. I can't help myself. My priority is never just checking off a to-do list. It's preserving your pet's routine, respecting their personality, and making sure they feel safe, enriched, and genuinely loved until you're home again. Whether that means long walks, muddy adventures, enrichment games, medication schedules, or simply sharing a quiet afternoon on the couch, I'll meet them where they are. I know what it feels like to leave a piece of your heart in someone else's hands. That's exactly why I care the way I do. My hope is simple: that when you walk back through your front door, your pet is happy, your home is just as you left it, and you never once had to wonder if they were being cared for. I'd be honored to love your best friend like one of my own. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule because I intentionally plan my calendar well in advance. I balance several freelance roles, so staying organized is second nature to me. I keep my Rover calendar updated regularly, which means if my profile shows that I'm available, you can trust that I've set aside the time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve. My home is intentionally dog-friendly, with a spacious, securely fenced backyard that's perfect for zoomies, exploring, and soaking up the sunshine. We have a doggie door for easy outdoor access, bubble windows built into the fence for the cutest neighborhood watch imaginable, and a wonderful neighborhood filled with peaceful walking trails for safe daily adventures. Even my furniture is pet friendly because I believe dogs should feel at home, not like they're tiptoeing around someone else's. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, I strive to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I'll carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise preferences, and any house rules you've established because I know those familiar routines help pets feel safe, comfortable, and confident while you're away.

About: The pet care community I have built with new and returning pet parents has been such a PAWsome experience. I am definitely known as the "Extra" dog parent and love to have fun with my fur kids. The second closest thing is that I love to meet other people's fur kids!!! I am grateful to have a secondary sitter who has built relationships with all of our pet parents and their kiddos. As a team, we make it a mission to have fun and invite them into our family. About the care in my home: We take a lot of time/care with all pets from meet and greet to pick up and the cleaning, fun, and chaos in between. I have a fenced-in yard my pets absolutely love. The location of my home also offers trail access for a huge walking area for guests. All of my animals have training (cat refuses) and no aggressive behaviors. The dog room has a ball pit, treats galore, and space to beat the heat! When I’m caring for animals in someone else’s home: I keep the utmost respect for everyone's belongings and their safe space. I am a very detail-oriented person and take pride in knowing others can count on me/ trust me as an individual caring for their family. My flexible schedule allows me to easily adjust to your needs! Of course, at times there may be slots filled (I'm off playing with a puppy or a cat) but I stay in communication with you so when it comes to scheduling, its usually a breeze! Trust and safety are the basis for almost every part of what I do and what I offer to you. Whether in your home or mine, I believe in respect and courtesy at all times for everyone. Ask me what this looks like for the specific service you need!

About: We’re just an animal loving family! We treat every pet as if our own and provide a fun, loving atmosphere with lots of playtime and attention for our furry visitors 🤗🤎🐾 I’ve cared for all kinds of animals growing up from ducks to iguanas and more! My care focuses on the comfortability of the pet. Just want to make sure they feel at home…not cooped up in a room or crate all day like most boarding places. 😕 We are located about half an hour to the airport for easy drop off and pick up. We also offer convenient pick up and drop off services. We guarantee safety while caring for your fur babies. We love the outdoors and enjoy a good walk with our four-legged friends. Taquito is our spunky chihuahua. Teddy is our happy Pomeranian and Lion is our courageous Chorky. All of them are neutered and very friendly with other animals and people.

Kristina is the best. Treats my dogs better than I do! She has gone above and beyond especially on this booking. One of my dogs got frightened overnight. Kristina walked into a mess the next morning. Without hesitation she cleaned the mess, washed the throw rug and when I got home two nights later, I would not have known there had been an accident had she not told me earlier. She is just a great person.

Kristina was great. She accepted my request with only three days advanced notice. When she came to meet my dogs they loved her and in talking to each other we found that we live a few blocks from each other and we have common interests. I received pictures and could see the the path that the walks were taken on. Couldn't be more pleased. Will definitely remember her for future bookings.

Kimberly did an outstanding job! It was plain to see that she is a dog lover. I truly belive my dogs had a better time with her than if I had been here. There was one instance where it was raining during her scheduled time and she volunteered to come later when the rain stopped so my two dogs could get fed and get their walk in. Kimberly is definitely on my list for the future

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
