“Olivia makes me feel at ease. She gave me plenty of updates on my fur baby. I trust her whole heartedly to look after Stormi! She treats every dog as her own & integrates them so well into her pack 🥹”

“Iuliia was fantastic and really helped us out over Thanksgiving by caring for our elderly Golden Retriever. She was reliable, attentive, and kept us updated throughout our trip. We returned to a calm, well-cared-for dog. Highly recommend her for professional, dependable pet care.”

“Anthony is a great caregiver to my “humans only” homebody lab mix. After bad experiences with kennels, we usually opt for in home care and decided to try something new. Anthony responded quickly and was able to accommodate Cherry’s needs with no issue and the meal instructions were successfully followed. Cherry was returned to us happy, and healthy. It was evident that they had a blast in the backyard, because she mlemed and slept peacefully the rest of the night. We look forward to rebooking.”

“Mercedes was great! This was my first time using Rover so I was a bit nervous but Mercedes updated me daily & gave my fur babies so much love! Will most definitely be rebooking”

“Stephanie did such a great job taking care of my boy!! She kept me updated with pictures and made me feel safe and secure with him being in her care, I could tell he had so much fun and I will definitely be booking again! Thank you Steph!!”

“So grateful to have found Gabriel and Savannah! So communicative and lots of updates and photos during Charlie’s stay. This was my second time booking with them and when we arrived at their home and Charlie saw Gabriel he started crying with excitement and couldn’t wait to jump out of the car to see him! He definitely enjoys his time with them and their pup! Thank you both so much.”

“Tiffany and her family are wonderful. I was so at ease leaving our two dogs in her care. She also sent daily updates with pictures. Tiffany is now our go to sitter. Thank you again, Tiffany.”

“Nathan provided excellent care for Shiner during my recent trip. They were attentive, sent updates with photos, and clearly treated my pet like one of their own. I felt completely at ease knowing Shiner was in such good hands, and would definitely book with them again!”

“Great communication and response time. My dog can be picky about being away from me but seemed to have a great time. Would definitely come back for further services!”

“Wonderful! I was nervous to leave my Belgian Mal as he has severe separation anxiety. He did amazing with Danielle, settled right in and seemed to enjoy his time. Will happily book with her again!”

“Morgan is absolutely amazing. My dog is always happy to go and I know he’s sad when he leaves. I know gene he’s there he’s treated like family. Morgan also has gone above and beyond to be accommodating to my crazy schedule shifts. Grateful for someone who cares about my dog, as much as I do.”

“We love-love-love working with Robyn and Desmond for boarding our Zadie. They are so easy to work with, clearly love the dogs in their care, and send updates that show how much fun Zadie is having at their house. Highly recommend!”

“We left our dog Stanley with Edwin and his wonderful family for a 9-day stay, and they did a fantastic job! Edwin kept us updated with photos and messages, showing Stanley eating, getting brushed, going on walks, and settling in. Anytime I checked in, Edwin was quick to respond and always communicative. We had a great feeling about the stay after a meet-and-greet with Edwin and his family a week before our trip. From the moment we arrived, Edwin took the leash and was confidently in control of Stanley. We’ve done meet-and-greets before where the sitter gives your dog a few pats and focuses more on chatting with you. This was more like a test drive, where Edwin paid close attention to how Stanley handled the new environment. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they took the responsibility seriously and that Stanley would be well cared for while we were away. Stanley is pretty easy going... until it thunders. Then he becomes very anxious. Unfortunately, there were a few storms while we were away. We left medication to help, but it takes awhile to kick in and it sometimes only takes the edge off. If you have a dog like this, you feel pretty helpless during these storms. There is no magic fix. You make them as comfortable as possible, but the only way "out" is getting through the storm. Edwin was proactive with the medication, and along with his family, helped Stanley ride out those storms as well as we could have ourselves. We’re grateful to Edwin and his family for taking such great care of Stanley and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“This is the third time Maggie has stayed with Clarice and Steve. She is well taken care of and has the best time playing with the other dogs and going for walks. She always comes home exhausted and happy!”

“Molly loves her time with Denise. I felt nervous about dropping her off the first time but she became fast friends with Denise and her family. Denise kept me posted on a daily basis and put my mind at ease.”

“Grace & Allen went above & beyond to make sure our boy Buster had an amazing time with them and that we felt confident & secure that we left him in good hands. They asked lots of questions to make sure he was taken care of the exact same way he is at home and seemed very knowledgeable and passionate. Buster loved playing with their sweet dogs and they sent us tons of adorable pictures throughout his stay as well as a goodie bag with treats in it when we picked him up :) Fantastic people (and dogs), Buster is already asking to go back again!”

“Lexi really enjoyed being there and I have nothing but good things to say about these two. I appreciate them coming through for me and keeping lexi happy in my absence!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lockhart
I recently used Rover for dog boarding while my wife and I were out of town on vacation, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Our trip was planned last-minute, but thankfully we found Kimberly — truly a star sitter! She was incredibly responsive, which made everything so easy. We quickly arranged a meet-and-greet that instantly gave us confidence. Kimberly was flexible with our drop-off and pick-up times since our travel schedule wasn’t fully set, and we really appreciated that. Throughout our dog’s stay, she kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. Seeing our boy happy, relaxed, and having a great time allowed us to enjoy a completely stress-free vacation. Despite the heavy rain in the Austin area that week, she kept him clean and comfortable the entire time — impressive! When we picked him up, he was in great spirits and clearly had been well cared for and loved by her and her family. I’m so grateful to them for treating him like one of their own. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. It felt personal and caring — not at all like dropping him off at a kennel. We will absolutely book with Kimberly again and will be using Rover for future travels.
