“Olivia took wonderful care of our pup while we were out of town. She was so communicative, she provided updates around feeding times, complete with pictures. She provided lots of opportunities for exercise and our pup made new friends with her dogs. Will definitely look to get again on our next trip.”

“My two German shepherds had a great time with Iuliia during their two week stay. They are high energy and a lot to deal with. I believe they received excellent care and will definitely have them stay with Iuliia again. They got to meet a handful of other dogs. It was much better than having them at a traditional boarder where they would be in a kennel most of the day. I received many great photos and videos during their stay. Thank you!”
“My dog has stayed with Anthony three times now and I cannot recommend him enough! He’s flexible, great with communication, and his house is set up perfect for dogs! My dog can be anxious but he’s obviously comfortable with Anthony and excited when I drop him off for repeat visits!”

“Gina was an amazing dog sitter and I felt so comfortable leaving my senior dog with her. She sent consistent updates and was quick to respond to any communication. When I picked my pup up, she was happy and well cared for. I will be booking with Gina again!”
“I recommend Edwin and family to anyone! They take such amazing care of my dog, Layla, who is pretty anxious without me. They send photos and make sure she feels at home. I never worry while she stays here!”

“Lauren was such a good communicator and sent me multiple pictures of my boy throughout his stay! It made me feel good to know he was happy and playing. He came home exhausted! I could tell he played his little heart out.”

“Denise provided a loving, comfortable environment for my pup. Very good about his care, communicating with me, and all around professionalism. Will happily have her sit for us again!”

“I highly recommended Danielle because of her excellent service. She and her husband Jack are very friendly and trustworthy. They took care of my dog very careful while I was on vacation. Moreover, she updated the activities of my dog by sending pictures and videos every day. Definitely a five-star service!”

“Yan is an EXCELLENT sitter. We are very pleased with her services. She provided photos with updates on how well the 2 Yorkies were doing while in her care. We are definitely going to use her services again.”

“Savannah & Gabriel took good care of Abby, my 3-month old puppy, for about 7 hours while I went to the UT football game. They are a sweet couple, their apartment is immaculate, & Abby seemed relaxed & happy when I picked her up. I was also happy that they only had one pet of their own, another little shih tzu like Abby. I appreciated the pictures of Abby they sent. I also liked that they had puppy supplies (play pen, pads, beds, etc). All in all it was a very good experience.”

“Offered to watch my dog on short notice for 3 days over the weekend took care of him, send pictures daily, and communicated very well. Pick up and drop off for very smooth. Couldn't be happier!”

About: I have been around dogs and cats since I was young. In high school I moved to a ranch and helped raise animals from horses to peacocks. Most recently, I have experience in healthcare and am comfortable with administering medications to your furry family members. My family moved to San Marcos and ready to open our home to your family. We do have a one year old girl and a baby on the way. So I ask to use your best judgement if your pet will be a good fit with us. My schedule is wide open at the moment, but can change quickly with a little one at home. I will be communicative of when I am not available and work to accommodate everyone. Our home has a good sized fenced yard. We also love to go on walks. If your pet has any favorite toys I would be happy to play until their heart is content.
“Morgan is absolutely amazing. My dog is always happy to go and I know he’s sad when he leaves. I know gene he’s there he’s treated like family. Morgan also has gone above and beyond to be accommodating to my crazy schedule shifts. Grateful for someone who cares about my dog, as much as I do.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Martindale
As always, Thomas and his family are great! First time watching our new puppy who also had a broken leg and everything went super smoothly. Couldn’t trust Thomas more and it’s great to have that relationship with him and not have to worry about our dogs during vacation!

Thomas and his family were awesome! I was a little concerned because Gracie can be a little bit aggressive towards people but Thomas had her eating out of his hand within minutes. By the time we traveled 15 minutes to our family‘s house that we were visiting in Texas he had already sent a picture with Gracie sitting on his lap. When we went to pick Gracie up, Thomas and his girlfriend were out there just loving on her! She really liked them! I highly recommend Thomas and his family to sit with any pet!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
