“Our puppy stayed with Max for a week and we are so grateful to him! Max sent so many pics of different moments of the day and we could just see how happy she was with him! We could tell how much fun she was having, how well taken care of she was, how safe she felt with him. Max will be our forever puppy person!!!! Don’t think twice about booking with him!!!!”

“This was easily the best boarding experience. I have had the pleasure of having. We did a meet and greet before boarding to ensure that my dogs were a good fit and after we had an assessment, we continued with the boarding the following day. I was pretty nervous because one of my dogs is very high energy, and I worry that some folks may not know how to handle that. Not only what she messaged me updates, but every couple of hours she would also send photos of my dogs on how they were interacting in the yard with other dogs. She checked in the following morning after their first night of sleeping to inform me how things went the night previously as well as a general agenda of the day. I have never felt more secure and leaving my dogs with someone. An absolute blessing and a wonderful person, thank you again! Champ and Max are so excited to see you all again!”

“Mati had a great time as always, I’m happy I’ve been able to trust Anna with the care of my fur baby multiple times now without any issues or concerns.”

“Debe was phenomenal - communicative, flexible, and dedicated to ensuring my anxious pup felt at home! We’ll absolutely be reaching out to Debe first the next time we travel.”

“Amy is absolutely AWESOME!! I have used her service about 5 times. I never worry a bit about my babies. I just hope she never quits, because she is irreplaceable! Thanks Amy!!”

About: I've been a lifelong dog owner and have cared for dogs most of my life. I've frequently dog-sat for friends and family over the years, including feeding, walking, administering medications when needed and providing lots of attention and playtime. I work from home full-time, so your dog will receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. My partner is retired and also home most of the time, so there is almost always someone here with the pets. Because of this, dogs are rarely left alone and get lots of care, playtime, and comfort during their stay. Dogs under 40 lbs. please. We provide a calm, safe, and welcoming environment and follow each dog’s normal routine for feeding, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. Our home has a fenced backyard where dogs can safely enjoy time outside. We also have a friendly 5-year-old dog who is low-energy and well socialized. She enjoys the company of other dogs but is also respectful of dogs who prefer their own space. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to us. We introduce dogs slowly, supervise interactions, and treat every dog in our home like part of the family. We are also happy to send photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away.
“I looked at 20 or 30 profiles on here then I came across Stephanie whose profile states she has experience with MWD puppy program puppies and that’s why I chose to leave Ammo with her when I took a short work trip. She took such great care of Ammo and she always replied quick to my messages. I would gladly leave Ammo in her car again and as a matter of fact he will be back with her for two weeks in September. Thank you!!!!”

“Lisa and Brandon are honestly the best! They love your pet like it was their own. My pup has stayed there several times now and I am always worry free while he’s at their house. Their communication is great and I get pictures on the regular. If you are a first time user, Lisa and Brandon are an amazing choice!”

“Amazing experience with Karen. My two babies were extremely happy when I picked them up showing they were liking where they were staying. She updated me throughout their stay with pictures and videos and how they’re doing. Extremely happy with her. We will be back soon 🤗🤗”

“Cathy did a wonderful job with Monty. Her dog Bentley was lovely and they got on well. Monty hates thunderstorms and barks incessantly when they are happening, and as luck would have a severe storm passed through while she was boarding him. She was able to give him his medicine and keep him calm, and to text me on how he was doing. Would recommend highly.”

“Dave was wonderful! I can see that my dog had fun in her 2 day stay. I would definitely recommend his services. He takes good care of your dog like his own. Thanks Dave & wife! Will surely book again”

“Jesse has been absolutely incredible with Rocco. He went above and beyond in caring for him, and it was clear from the start how much he genuinely cares about the animals he watches. Rocco was comfortable, well cared for, and in great hands the entire time, which gave me real peace of mind. Jesse was also super communicative and flexible, and really helped me out during a hectic stretch when I needed reliable support. I truly appreciate everything he did. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who will treat their dog like their own.”

“Wonderful experience with a seasoned sitter. Mollie was introduced to me by Rover and lives nearby. It was great to work with her and she had a great demeanor with my dog. They had fun and I looked forward to daily updates and photos. I felt my dog was in great hands and she seemed at ease with Mollie and staying in her home.”

“Juan was amazing! Bucky had an amazing time, I really appreciated all of the photos and he even worked on some training with him. He was also very flexible with me, which I am so grateful for.”

“Megan was phenomenal! I saw her first hand interracting with my pet and she was amazing! Harlee is a petting skittish dog but was very comfortable, very quick with Megan. Megan was well versed in understanding dogs needs and was even very careful introducing the children to my baby. Would go back to Megan in a heartbeat! Highly Recommended!”

“Our favorite dog sitter of all time. Reliable, great communication, and Winston always comes home happy and rested. Very grateful for all of Marti’s help!”

“Adriana is a lifesaver! She got us in last minute when we needed to be out of town to pick up our car. She was quick to respond, honest, kept us up to date with pics and messages. Highly recommend her and will be booking with her again!”

“Ashley was great! She sent several photos of my mini goldendoodle throughout the day and I could tell she was well taken care of and having a blast with her other dogs. Ashley was super responsive and made us feel comfortable, will definitely be rebooking!!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - San Antonio
We were in town for a short trip and needed someone to watch our 2 pugs for a few hours while we were at a concert. We’ve never left them with anyone besides family before, and Debe made us feel comfortable right away!!! She took such great care of our pugs and sent so many updates in just a few hours. One of our pugs hates fireworks, and she did everything she could to keep her comforted while the 4th of July fireworks were going on. We will definitely be booking her again when we are back on town. Thank you Debe!!

Cathy was wonderful from the meet up and throughout the stay. We were out of country and hated leaving our babies but she comforted us with lots of updates and pictures! Our dog and hers loved each other which was great! My old bulldog loved the couch and chair with lots of pillows and blankets. We did not have to worry about them while we were so far away which was great!

Danielle was a complete life-saver! My usual sitter had an emergency and had to cancel the night before my trip. Danielle took my dog in for the weekend with less than a days notice. She was very communicative, kind, and patient with my anxious gal. She sent many photos and updates without me having to ask! I always get so nervous to leave my dog with someone she has never met but Danielle was so easy to work with and so trust-worthy. I highly recommend!!

If I could give more than five stars, I would. Ben took exceptional care of Morrison and made being away from my dog completely stress-free. The communication was outstanding, with frequent updates and photos that showed just how happy and comfortable Morrison was. It’s obvious that Ben has a lot of experience with dogs and truly enjoys what he does. Morrison came home happy, healthy, and maybe even a little disappointed to leave! Thank you for going above and beyond.

Avah is amazing! I had to find a sitter last minute, and she was available to care for Opal. She kept me updated the entire time, was very responsive to texts, and sent photos regularly. Opal warmed up to her quickly, which says a lot since she can be a little shy at first. She genuinely cared and took time to make my dog feel comfortable and safe. I’ll definitely be booking with her again for our next trip. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring sitter :)

Our dogs had a wonderful time with Laurie. This was the first time she watched all three of them. She took them on walks, kept them safe and entertained so they came back happy and exhausted. She has a great set up with a fenced in backyard. She has a schedule that really fits. Their needs is very active her soul so that helps with the active dogs and a really great mom that can lend a hand when needed. We are already scheduled with her again!
