About: I’ve had all kinds of animals since I was born. I’ve personally owned both dogs and cats (currently have two very rotten cats!), but I’ve grown up with everything from kittens to chickens to cattle to German shepherds. I genuinely just love animals, and would be thrilled to get to know yours as well! I work full-time, but I work from home Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I’m based in Southtown, so I’m centrally located and can come visit your animals up to three times a day, or stay at your house. Unfortunately, since I live in an apartment, I cannot house any extra pets at my own home. I get it, your pet is your baby and you need someone you can trust! I’m an experienced pet sitter, whether you need them let out in your backyard, taken on walks, or given some cuddles, I can do it. I can provide pictures daily, and I’m very big on communication.
About: I have had pets my whole life, and have been petsitting for friends and family for over two decades. I have extensive experience with positive reinforcement training, attending to special needs and medications, special feeding instructions, puppy/kitten and senior pet care, and caring for recent rescues and anxiety issues. Multiple pets welcome! My availability is very flexible to suit whatever your pet's scheduling needs may be. Your pet's sense of enrichment and happiness is so important to me. I will faithfully ensure their regular routines are kept, and that they are fully pampered to the highest standards. Your instructions and your pet's preferences are my prerogative. I'll have attentive eyes on your pet at all times, and will be happy to send photos and videos along to you as desired. I can provide yard breaks, leash walks, games and playtime, baths, crate time, as well as administer most medications. I have experience with elderly and special needs pets as well. Please note that for boarding and doggy daycare services in my home, my apartment doesn't have a yard space. It's a very dog-friendly part of town to explore on as many walks as your pet likes, or simply for bathroom breaks outside if they're not feeling like a journey. Also, my friendly terrier named Frankie is present during doggy daycare and boarding in my home. He loves company! As a gentle soul at heart, he's great at reading whether your dog would like a playmate or prefer some space. He is neutered and current on vaccinations and flea prevention. I have a doggy gate to use as needed for separate feeding, or other needs along those lines.

I’ll make sure your antique clock is wound every seven days, basic gardening and house plants will be kept lively and naturally keep the house secure and tidy. I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about Anissa! She took care of my two Great Danes, Staffordshire Terrier, and two cats for an entire week, checking on them three times a day. With five pets—and three big dogs—that’s a lot to take on, and she handled everything amazingly. From the very beginning, Anissa made me feel completely comfortable leaving my babies in her care. She sent me pictures at every single visit, and being able to see their happy faces and know they were being loved and well cared for gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She cleaned the litter boxes and backyard every day and even went above and beyond by vacuuming daily—which was definitely not something I expected her to do! Coming home to happy, well-cared-for pets AND a clean house was such a wonderful feeling. What meant the most to me was knowing that Anissa wasn’t just stopping by to check things off a list. I could tell she genuinely cared about my animals and treated them like they were her own. When you have five fur babies, finding someone you truly trust with them is priceless. I will absolutely be using Anissa again and, as long as she’s available, she will be the person I call whenever I need someone to care for my pets. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend her. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
