About: Hi! I’ve been caring for small dogs (under 40 lbs) for years—originally for friends and family, and more recently for clients through Rover. I also had the honor of caring for my own senior dog during the final stage of his life, an experience that deepened my understanding of the needs of aging pets and taught me the value of patience, empathy, and attentive care. I currently share my home with my energetic senior English Springer Spaniel/Blue Heeler mix—equal parts cuddlebug and goofball. Living with a disability has never limited my ability to provide a full, enriching life for her or for the dogs I care for. I’ve developed safe, effective strategies for training and daily care that prioritize the comfort and happiness of each pup. I offer in-home visits only, allowing your dog to stay in their familiar environment and routine—ideal for pets who thrive on stability. My flexible, open schedule means I’m available when you need me: weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I’m experienced with administering medications (including pills and eye drops) and love keeping dogs engaged with enrichment activities like puzzle feeders, sniff walks, and tug-of-war. Your dog’s happiness and well-being are always my top priorities! I currently don't work so I have a very flexible schedule to come to your home and feed, walk and play with your fur babies My open schedule will ensure that your dog gets properly exercised. I can do separate walks for multiple dog households. Crating can also be done.

About: I’ve been a dog and cat lover since I was a young girl. Last year, my beloved toy poodle, Jesse, passed away after a long and fulfilling 16-year life. I hold a special place in my heart for senior pets, and I’m committed to providing all pets with the love and care they deserve. I work from home currently & usually have blocks of 2 - 3 hours of free time throughout my day. & open availability on weekends. I currently don’t have any pets at home. My home has a small fenced-in yard area at the back, and there’s also a great block of neighborhood to walk around.

About: My first word was Dog. Really. I've been an animal lover my whole life, bringing home wounded pigeons and stay dogs anytime the opportunity presented itself. I have volunteered in animal shelters and foster based rescues, managed a doggie daycare and have a certificate in the Human-Animal Connection while obtaining my MSW. I have had two CGC working therapy dogs and dabbled in flyball for a heartbeat. Now as a professional photographer who loves being my own boss, I'm excited to offer my experience to help eas your mind while you're away from your pets. Working from home and being a small business owner my schedule is flexible and revolves around my kids. I am often free during mornings, afternoons and evenings for visits as well as weekend care. I very much believe in a partnership with pets. These little furry (or hairless) beings have their own likes and dislikes just like us! “I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about Anissa! She took care of my two Great Danes, Staffordshire Terrier, and two cats for an entire week, checking on them three times a day. With five pets—and three big dogs—that’s a lot to take on, and she handled everything amazingly. From the very beginning, Anissa made me feel completely comfortable leaving my babies in her care. She sent me pictures at every single visit, and being able to see their happy faces and know they were being loved and well cared for gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She cleaned the litter boxes and backyard every day and even went above and beyond by vacuuming daily—which was definitely not something I expected her to do! About: All of my experience is personal family pets. I’ve had a pet my whole life. I’ve had dogs, a hamster, fish and a bearded dragon! I have dealt within large and small dogs, young and old. I love them all. I treat any dog I come in contact with like they my own. I’ve administered injections and pills to sick pets. So I can help with any task really. I work part time, so this would be my way of keeping busy when I’m not busy. I enjoy helping others and caring for pets. My pets have a nice set up. Kennel for each, with tons of blankets and chew toys. Food and water is always readily available. Most recently, I had a fur baby who was sick. So I would give her daily meds and get checked often. She had a special diet as well.

About: I love all animals. I grew up on a farm in Poland, I have experience taking care of various farm animals as well as house babies. I care for every animal as if they are my own. I live in downtown San Antonio and work from home, so I can give dogs and cats plenty of attention throughout the day. I enjoy taking dogs for walks and trips to the park, and spending time playing with cats or keeping them company at home. I travel occasionally, which is why I haven’t adopted a pet of my own, but I only accept bookings when I’m home and fully available to care for them. I work from home in downtown San Antonio, so pets staying with me get plenty of attention and regular care. I follow each pet’s usual feeding, exercise, and rest routines, and I’m happy to take dogs to a nearby park for a leashed walk. For cats, I provide playtime, enrichment, litter box care, and plenty of affection according to their preferences. In a client’s home, I follow their care instructions closely and respect their space. I keep pets secure, watch for changes in their behavior, and send updates so you know how they’re doing.

About: I have always taken care of friends’ pets (mostly dogs) since college. At most, there have been 3 dogs in my care but have the capacity to have more of needed. Cats are welcomed. I’m a gentle soul when it comes to animals. They have feelings just like humans do and want cared. Walking bigger dogs is speciality but I have experience with all size dogs. I am a full time personal trainer & CrossFit coach, so I more flexibility for pet care. I can spend time with them and walk them throughout the dad I care for clients with upmost respect. Chatting with clients on behaviors of the pets is important to me. Helps understand how each pet should be cared for. I want make sure they are comfortable at all times and continue to get the same love that their owners give them. I cannot have pets in my own due my partner allergies. With that being said, clients’ home are sacred and I respect that, so I would not break trust with owners and make their home is the way they left it.
