“Ericka did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Molly! This was my first time using Rover so I wasn't sure how it would go having a new person take care of her doing the drop-in visits, but she loved Ericka! I also really appreciated the notes and photo updates from each check-in. I will definitely be booking her again!”

“Absolutely phenomenal sitters! If you want to feel reassured that your pets will be well-cared for- these are your people. I recieved photos and updates with each check-in, and my three pups were immediately comfortable with them when we did our meet and greet. They were also so kind and understanding when I got stuck on my trip and had to extend my booking. I could not recommend them enough, and I would absolutely take advantage of their services again in the future. Thank you both for taking care of my fur family!”

“Desiree was absolutely wonderful with our four furr babies. She went above and beyond with our cats, especially our youngest cat Snowy is super skittish when it comes with new people. She got Snow to purr ^^ Along with our medical cat, Asher, and our grumpy cat, absolutely adore her. Highly recommend Desiree!!! I didn't mention my other two cats, because they don't count lolz”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my entire life! I grew up on a farm in west michigan, where I learned from an early age how to care for all kinds of animals, including providing basic medical care when needed. From ages 6–19, I trained and showed dogs through 4-H, giving me years of hands-on experience with dog training, handling, grooming, and behavior. Growing up, I also regularly dog- and cat-sat for family and friends, and I’ve owned dogs and cats for most of my adult life, so caring for them truly comes naturally to me. As a parent to a child with a disability who absolutely loves animals—especially dogs—I’ve developed an incredible amount of patience, attentiveness, and compassion. My experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) also closely complements the positive reinforcement, consistency, and behavior-focused training I practiced for years through 4-H. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s care. As both a dog and human parent and a lifelong animal lover, I know you want someone who will treat your pets like family, give them plenty of love and attention, and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. That’s exactly the kind of care I’m committed to providing. ❤️🐾 After being a trauma therapist for many years I'm currently making a career change and am in process of job hunting. I do have children but will not bring them with me to care for your pet so I am available Monday morning -Friday morning. I am thorough and detail oriented and will ask you many questions about your preferences for care of your pet. As a parent myself I know how important it is to feel like our dogs/cats/tiny humans are being cared for as well as we would ourselves. I carry that sentiment with me to each of my pet care/sitting jobs.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Von Ormy
We are so incredibly grateful for the amazing care given! This was a very last-minute request for walking and sitting, and everything was handled with such professionalism, kindness, and flexibility. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Kaffee was in loving and capable hands. Communication was clear and consistent, and we truly appreciated the updates. Kaffee was happy, well-exercised, and clearly cared for. It means a lot to us to know that even on short notice, someone was willing to step in and treat our dog like their own. We highly recommend her services and will absolutely be reaching out again. Thank you for going above and beyond for Kaffee! 🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
