“Diana is the best sitter. She takes care of my puppy weekly while I am at work. Beyond cracking care of him she gives him love and attention. She is also flexible and very understanding. I don’t know what I would do without her.”

About: I've always loved animals and treat every pet like they're my own. I'm patient, dependable, and committed to making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or sticking to a specific routine, I pay close attention to each pet's individual needs and personality. I'm happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind and always strive to create a positive, stress free experience for both pets and their families. I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care throughout the week. Because of my hours, I'm able to accommodate walks, drop in visits, and overnight stays in many cases. I enjoy spending time with animals and can provide them with the attention, consistency, and care they deserve while you're away. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I make their safety and comfort my top priorities. I follow each owner's instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special care needs. I take the time to help pets feel comfortable in their environment, give them plenty of attention and affection, and keep a close eye on their well being. I also make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure during walks and outdoor time, and I'm happy to provide regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are doing well.
“Hannah always makes us feel so comfortable while away. She provides us the most thorough updates on our sweet boy and we know he’s always in good hands with her. Thank you Hannah!”

“Thanks to Megan we were able to go on vacation and have some peace of mind! Daily updates and pictures were just the cherry on top. She was great with our two cats and even helped out with watering our plants. We will definitely be calling Megan again!”

I also love to fish on the weekends. I give them my full attention just as if they were my babies but I also let them have their fun and exercise so they don't feel alone without there owners.
“Lexi was the perfect cat-sitter!! She sent daily updates, went above and beyond brushing our kitties every day and managing litter box mishaps, and even helped keep my plants alive!! Would 1000% book again.”

About: I’ve taken care of at least 16 dogs, cats, and even a few birds for many neighbors and family friends since I was around 10 years old! I adore all animals, especially cats!! I truly cherish my time with animals, and I would love to get to know yours! I’m currently a full-time student, but I have a very flexible schedule and a few pet-care jobs already, so I’m confident I can accommodate most, if not all, of the pet-care needs you might have! I am respectful and careful in my clients’ homes, as well as mindful of the fact that it is the pets home, too. I want the pet to be as comfortable as possible, and I try my very best to make sure they are not lonely or lacking in care and attention.
About: as a former dog and cat owner ive had the pleasure of taking care of fur babies for many many years. although im not able to have a pet of my own due to where i live, my 9-5 provides me a lot of flexibility for night and weekend opportunities. ive also house- and dog-sitted many times for family and friends. I work full time from 8 am to 5 pm from Monday thru Friday, so I have most of my evenings free as well as weekends. i always try to make pets as comfortable as possible and play around with them as much as I can. when i lived in a home that allowed pets, i made it a point to play with them everyday and pay attention to their needs in case they need to change their diet or seem sick/ out of the ordinary
“Mel was seriously so amazing in taking care of my kitties Orca & Ellie. We are so grateful! Lots of attention to detail and that in itself translates to being so caring and loving to my babies. Thank you SO much!! We appreciate you!”

“Adriana is the best! I highly recommend. I have a 3 month old puppy she has been helping me take care of while I am at work and has been a great help. Even teaching him tricks! My dog loves her so I will continue booking with her in the future.”

About: Took care of both my dog and cat together, they have since passed. My favorite part of the day was coming home to them and giving each of them play time and a walk for my dog. My husband and I just moved here. I am a new mom to a 4 month old baby and would love an excuse to love on some animals and get some extra steps in the day as well. I do not have anything animals of my own so your sweet animal will be my focus during our time together! I will walk your pup or play with your cat and clean up after them as needed.

“We had a great experience with Anna dropping in to take care of our dogs. Excellent communication. She even stopped by beforehand to meet our pups. We would highly recommend Anna and plan to use her pet sitting services in the future.”

About: I have had a dog since I was five, giving me many years of experience taking care of and cleaning up after a dog. I have also had many friends and neighbors with dogs, and I always love getting to spend time with their pets! I have trained my dog as well as a couple of other puppies to do some tricks. I have also had experience with administering different kinds of medication to my dog, such as eye drops, oral medications, or tick meds. I am currently in school, but I can work in walks and drop-in visits to help you care for your pups! I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I am willing to travel to you and take your dog out for a walk and playtime, or feed them. I am also willing to administer medications to them if necessary and care for senior dogs. About: I have the patience to take care of puppies and senior dogs alike! My senior dog is my world and I raised him from a puppy🫶 I’ve been around dogs my whole life and feel at my happiest when I’m around them. I also worked at Lucy’s Doggie Daycare as a Kennel Technician for a brief period before I had to leave for family medical reasons, but it was the best job I ever had. I currently work full time at a local restaurant—my hours fluctuate but I’m generally available during the evenings after 5 pm. Ideal for anyone who works the night shift in need of dog sitting! I have plenty of toys and treats I can bring along to keep your baby occupied, as well as a dog park in my apartment complex and minutes away from a walk to Brackenridge Park. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Terrell Hills
Connie was the absolute best dog sitter I could’ve asked for! I wish I could still have her as my sitter when I go to move to my next duty station. Connie has helped me these last six months, with having a busy, chaotic schedule. She goes above and beyond! She’s reliable, trustworthy, and always willing to help in any way she can! Scooby absolutely loved her, and I’m so grateful I found a trusted sitter for his crazy self. She’s literally the best!!

We had a wonderful experience with Katie! She took such great care of Ivy and Floki and kept us updated throughout each visit, which meant so much to us. It’s never easy leaving your pets behind, but Katie made us feel completely at ease. We came home to two happy pups and couldn’t be more grateful. We would absolutely recommend her and look forward to booking with her again in the future! 🤍🐾

Meeting with Bailey and Minnie Pearl went off without a hitch. She was so excited to meet Bailey and to share her favorite toys. As for me, it was instant trust, and I couldn’t be happier with Bailey. They played together and even took a brief walk while still learning the leash. Bailey was sweet and caring and has a positive energy and enthusiasm. I highly recommend her for your pet!

Sara has been such a great sitter for my furry babies! They were well taken care of, happy and relaxed! My cat, Obi, is not one to warm up easily to people, but Sara managed to get him to engage with her, come out for pics and even got him to show off his pancake routine, belly exposed. My dog, Nala, also seemed very happy with the care, walks and play time. I loved how I got timely updates, pictures in which my pets looked happy and relaxed, gave me a lot of peace of mind. I wholeheartedly recommend Sara for all the other pet parents and we’ll 100% rebook!

Nev was so great for daily visits for our senior dog Duke while we took a mini vacation. Thank you so much for accepting our booking on such short notice—we truly appreciate your flexibility and willingness to help us out last minute. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pet was in good hands, and we’re really grateful for your kindness and reliability. We would absolutely book with you again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
