My background with animals started in high school, where I participated in FFA and veterinary science classes. For transparency, my spouse may accompany me during house-sitting bookings. He is a military veteran who has successfully completed government background screenings and shares my love for animals. While I remain the sole caregiver responsible for your pets and booking services, I believe in being open with pet parents about who may be present during a stay. I love taking care of dogs and would love to help make someone's day a little easier by getting their fur-baby the sunshine and excerise they need! About: First, let me say I am a mom of a 5 year old, who has been with me to all my dog training sessions since he was 2 months old. He does not attend all house sitting’s anymore, but may still come with to a few. Meet & greets are always required. Now, I have experience in Positive Dog Training as a dog trainer. I teach basic obedience, advanced obedience and do puppy training. My handling is loving with no negative reinforcement involved. Sitting will be fun and interactive in addition I can even teach them a few tricks to show off to their Pet Parents. Drop-ins are always fun and I love giving each pet love, attention and play time that I provide to my own pets when I stop by. Dog walks are not only beneficial to the dog but to me as well, I enjoy the exercise so when they are happy I am too. Each experience I have with dogs or any animal I believe is a learning one that I am always happy to be apart of. I'm a Dog Trainer, so I schedule in advance for my services so that I know my calendar. If I'm busy at a certain time I make sure there is ample time between clients so that everyone gets the quality they deserve. I am also a mom to a toddler so where I go my son will be staying as well. All dogs must do a meet & greet prior to make sure we are a good fit. For house stays when I am staying over with your pets they are treated the same as mine with full attention and love. They will get cuddles and we'll have lots of fun.

Since I provide care in my client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medication, crate use, and household rules. For walks and drop-ins, I prioritize leash safety, secure doors and gates, and make sure pets have fresh water and a calm environment before I leave. About: I’ve had dogs for all my life. I have taken care of dogs from puppies to seniors. I also have experience with cats, fish, birds, and even some reptiles! I have some experience with bathing and walking. I have no problem cleaning up after them if they have an accident :) I am available at anytime for owners’ peace of mind. About: I worked as a kennel tech for a dog trainer for 2 years and have been volunteering with a dog rescue that saves abused and neglected dogs for the past 6 years. These experiences, as well as raising my own dogs, have given me the knowledge to work with most dogs, but my passion is working with fearful, anxious, and reactive dogs. Working on their time to gain their trust is my specialty and passion. I have experience working through basic obedience, counter conditioning, confidence building, muzzle training, gear shyness, and cooperative care. I also have experience working with dogs that require more intensive care due to feeding routines (such as making homemade food or strict feeding schedules with medications) and grooming maintenance (frequent or routine baths due to coat type or skin conditions). Know that under my care, your pup will be with someone who understands them as an individual and can meet them where they are at. For Walks/Drop Ins: I have pretty varied availability throughout the day on weekdays due to my work schedule. For Housesitting: I typically need to be out of the house anywhere from 4-10 hrs depending on my shift at work. Your dog's comfort as well as yours are my top priorities, so I do require a meet and greet before any service I provide. This allows me to meet your pet and see their behavior before a service, and lets you see how your pet feels around me. I provide daily updates with pictures, with the ability to provide more frequent updates at your request. I also strictly follow any instructions and routines laid out for me regarding a pet's care.
