About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give every pet. I don’t just stop by to feed them or take them on a walk, I spend time getting to know their personality, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ve been caring for pets since I was in high school through dog walking, pet sitting, and house sitting, and I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters. As a pet owner myself to both a French Poodle Toy and a cat, I understand how important it is to have someone you can completely trust with your furry family member. I’m dependable, patient, and detail-oriented. Whether it’s sticking to your pet’s routine, cleaning up after them, refreshing water bowls, scooping litter boxes, or giving them plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention, I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own. I’m currently earning my graduate degree through a fully online program, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be available every day for walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and overnight care. I believe pets are happiest when they feel safe, comfortable, and loved, so I always do my best to keep them on their normal routine. In my client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications (if needed and instructed), and any special routines your pet is used to. I also make sure they receive plenty of affection, companionship, and exercise based on their personality and energy level. I treat every home with the same respect I would my own by keeping things clean, secure, and tidy. I’ll provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is for your pet to feel happy, relaxed, and well cared for until you return home.

About: I'm new to Rover but NOT new to watching/caring for animals! I've taken care of animals for a long time. I grew up on a farm, and did chores for the chickens, sheep, horses, and of course, dogs! I now pet sit for friends and colleagues' cats and dogs. My husband and I don't have my own animals right now, so we enjoy getting to take care of other people's fur babies. I currently work part time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I like to know your expectations, and make sure you and your pet get exactly what you need! I have watched dogs in my apartment on multiple occasions. The apartment complex is dog friendly, with doggie bags on the sidewalk and a nice little dog park as well!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have watched countless friends and families pets for them. I have 2 dogs and 2 kids who love having extra friends to play with and a big backyard for your furry friend to enjoy! I work part time and the rest of my schedule I’m a stay at home mom. I have a lot of time to dedicate to pet care and my schedule is pretty flexible and can be moved around if necessary: I have 2 dogs, a golden retriever and a Shiba mix, who love having dog friends over to play with! About: I have 15+ years of professional pet care experience. I am able to do all kinds of medicine that is needed is needed. I also able to handle strong bigger dogs. I am home all day. I work from home part time and will have plenty of time to play with your pets. They will get plenty of out side time as well. I have a nice sized back yard. Fenced in. Lot of cumfy spots for them to rest from playing outside. I also do offer bath if you would like them to have one

About: I worked as a kennel tech for a dog trainer for 2 years and have been volunteering with a dog rescue that saves abused and neglected dogs for the past 6 years. These experiences, as well as raising my own dogs, have given me the knowledge to work with most dogs, but my passion is working with fearful, anxious, and reactive dogs. Working on their time to gain their trust is my specialty and passion. I have experience working through basic obedience, counter conditioning, confidence building, muzzle training, gear shyness, and cooperative care. I also have experience working with dogs that require more intensive care due to feeding routines (such as making homemade food or strict feeding schedules with medications) and grooming maintenance (frequent or routine baths due to coat type or skin conditions). Know that under my care, your pup will be with someone who understands them as an individual and can meet them where they are at. For Walks/Drop Ins: I have pretty varied availability throughout the day on weekdays due to my work schedule. For Housesitting: I typically need to be out of the house anywhere from 4-10 hrs depending on my shift at work. Your dog's comfort as well as yours are my top priorities, so I do require a meet and greet before any service I provide. This allows me to meet your pet and see their behavior before a service, and lets you see how your pet feels around me. I provide daily updates with pictures, with the ability to provide more frequent updates at your request. I also strictly follow any instructions and routines laid out for me regarding a pet's care.

About: I have been an ongoing volunteer at the Animal Defense League of San Antonio since I was about 9 y/o, taking the dogs on walks and socializing the cats and kittens. I've owned and fostered cats and dogs at varying life stages throughout my entire life as well, so I definitely have thorough knowledge and experience with raising newborn puppies and kittens too. I am well experienced and knowledgeable in pet care and behavior, in addition to the handling of a myriad of different types of wildlife. While currently also shadowing a very experienced and accredited dog trainer, I am definitely confident in my ability to provide extra care and love for your sweet, fur-babies. I have such a deep love for animals and am fully set on providing amazing, top-tier care that's best for you and your four-legged family. As long as I have about two days heads-up, I'm normally free pretty much any day to care for you furry friend. I perfer to start my work day around afternoon to late afternoon, though mornings are never a deal-breaker. I want your pet to experience the least amount of stress possible (especially during the first couple visits), so I try to stick to their daily routine as much as I can. For walks, I am quite comfortable walking bigger dogs that may come across as a lot to handle. I have experience training physically demanding or challenging dogs to be able to walk beautifully on a leash, too. As for drop-in visits and sitting, I will always stick to the schedule you provide, if there is one. Because safety and the well-being of your pet is always my top priority, I normally always perfer to have a meet & greet beforehand so your pet(s) can become acquainted with me and I'm able to take any extra notes necessary.
