About: I've been working with animals for the past 5 Years! I started as a dog daycare attendant for a year where I learned how to read dog body language and behavior as well as how to handle emergency situations with dogs. I then became a full time pet sitter on my own and would watch all kinds of animals from household reptiles, small animals, cat, and of course dogs! After 1 year of this I switched to part time sitter to become a full time dog trainer! I trained for a year before becoming a manager at a pet hotel. I love my job to this day and still care for dogs and cats at my current job! I'm currently a stay at home mom for my babies so I am always home a ready to provide care! I usually (as weather permits of course) take a morning walk between 8-10am with my dog and my boarding friends, hang out around the house and backyard until our evening walk before bed around 8-10pm after the sun is down! I am constantly boarding dogs in my home so I do have extra crates if needed otherwise I only have 1 dog of my own who is a St. Bernard and is pretty lazy so he will be there to keep my boarding dogs company but also knows to nap if the other dogs need a break from playing. When I go to clients homes I always find a way to occupy my time with my clients and keep my attention on those animals!

About: I've been raised around pets my whole life. There has not been a point in time when I didn't have the responsibility of caring for a dog or cat. I currently take care of our family cat, Vogue. I have been in care for dogs for years, including our Cane Corso! Though I have my availability as open daily, Monday-Friday I’m available from 5PM-10PM and Sundays 6AM-10AM. Saturdays will be subjective to availability, so please inquire! Since I only offer dog walking, the most I can say here is that my home is pet friendly with enough space for my family and my cat!

About: While your pet is in my care, they are guaranteed the best care possible. I don't just watch your pet; I engage with them, ensuring they feel safe and secure. With experience from my own pooch as well as family and friends pets, I am helpful in puppy training, reinforcing good behaviors, and I'm also skilled in senior care, providing gentle exercise and attentive monitoring for older pets. Plus, I send daily updates with photos and videos, so you can see your furry friend is happy and well-cared for! My days revolve around the needs of the furry friends I care for. Whether it's fitting in extra playtime, accommodating special feeding schedules, or just providing a comforting presence, I adjust my routine to make sure each pet feels loved and secure. I have very open and accommodating availability! When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize following their specific instructions to the letter. This includes feeding schedules, medication administration (if applicable), playtime preferences, and reinforcing any training commands they're working on. I always ensure the home is secure before leaving, and provide detailed updates and photos after each visit so owners know their pet is happy and well-cared for.

About: First, let me say I am a mom of a 5 year old, who has been with me to all my dog training sessions since he was 2 months old. He does not attend all house sitting’s anymore, but may still come with to a few. Meet & greets are always required. Now, I have experience in Positive Dog Training as a dog trainer. I teach basic obedience, advanced obedience and do puppy training. My handling is loving with no negative reinforcement involved. Sitting will be fun and interactive in addition I can even teach them a few tricks to show off to their Pet Parents. Drop-ins are always fun and I love giving each pet love, attention and play time that I provide to my own pets when I stop by. Dog walks are not only beneficial to the dog but to me as well, I enjoy the exercise so when they are happy I am too. Each experience I have with dogs or any animal I believe is a learning one that I am always happy to be apart of. I'm a Dog Trainer, so I schedule in advance for my services so that I know my calendar. If I'm busy at a certain time I make sure there is ample time between clients so that everyone gets the quality they deserve. I am also a mom to a toddler so where I go my son will be staying as well. All dogs must do a meet & greet prior to make sure we are a good fit. For house stays when I am staying over with your pets they are treated the same as mine with full attention and love. They will get cuddles and we'll have lots of fun.

Cassi is amazing ! I am pretty picky when it comes to walking my puppy a certain way and she didn't hesitate to take the time to learn the different cues and commands I use so that she can help reinforce his training while on walks with her. She kept me updated throughout the visit and I was at ease knowing my baby was in good hands while I was away.

About: I have two dogs of my own one is 8 years old and the other is about to turn 2! I’m currently a jr pet groomer in training at PetCo. I work 40 hour weeks and I’m just looking for a way to make extra money to help me pay off my car! I’m around dogs everyday here at home or at work. I would treat your pets as if they were my own! I currently just moved to San Antonio from Kingsville. I am 22 years old looking for a full time job but I figured in the mean time I could dog sit/dog walk and door dash! All my dogs are indoor pets and they know better than to run away whenever they go out for restroom breaks or when we go outside to play

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
