About: I've cared for dogs my whole life. I have never met a dog I didn't become friends with. I have experience in training, basic care, bathing, teeth cleaning, medication administration, and disabled dog care. I'm a stay at home pet caregiver. I have a disabled and elderly dog who I care for. I would love to add your pet to my routine. I will treat your pet with the love and respect they deserve. I will make sure to respect your home, and leave it the way I found it. I will always keep your pet safe and happy, on walks or on potty breaks. I have never met a dog I didn't get along with. I love to play with them to enrich their lives, as well as my own.
“Thank you Desiree! We are very happy that you could step in and take care of our boy Cooper. I think he liked being around the kids, they have always been a favorite of his. We appreciate your patience with him and our security snaffu. We couldn't be happier with the work you did this week.”

About: I'm new to Rover but NOT new to watching/caring for animals! I've taken care of animals for a long time. I grew up on a farm, and did chores for the chickens, sheep, horses, and of course, dogs! I now pet sit for friends and colleagues' cats and dogs. My husband and I don't have my own animals right now, so we enjoy getting to take care of other people's fur babies. I currently work part time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I like to know your expectations, and make sure you and your pet get exactly what you need! I have watched dogs in my apartment on multiple occasions. The apartment complex is dog friendly, with doggie bags on the sidewalk and a nice little dog park as well!
About: Animals sense I'm a big momma, and trust me, I have my own 3 beautiful dogs and want to help others who may not have the extra time to be a friend in need. I am a full time at home mom of teenagers and like to volunteer to help my community. I also homeschool so I'm flexible to change schedules. I prefer letting pets be a guide, my experience is most like their home and routine so I let the pet take it's time on their turf to trust and feel safe.
“Cassi is amazing ! I am pretty picky when it comes to walking my puppy a certain way and she didn't hesitate to take the time to learn the different cues and commands I use so that she can help reinforce his training while on walks with her. She kept me updated throughout the visit and I was at ease knowing my baby was in good hands while I was away.”

The backyard is fully fenced and there is a dog park close by! We have a spacious house that your pup is free to roam. The backyard is medium sized, safe and well enforced. “John came to take Lady for a run on a drizzly cold day and Lady loved it! She is an excellent judge of character and she took to John right away, and remembered him even though it had been a while since her last walk (3 months)! She had lots of fun and I recommend John!”

About: I have experience caring for mostly small to medium sized dogs, and often I am the one my family and friends call to take care of their dogs while they’re away! I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, so I make it a priority to follow each owner’s instructions carefully to help them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. My experience includes feeding, providing fresh water, daily walks, playtime, and giving plenty of attention and affection. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with company, I strive to provide dependable, loving care and treat every dog as if they were my own baby! 🐶 I’m currently available full-time to take care of fur babies! I will be going to school sometime in August so that’s when my schedule will change a bit. My current routine allows me to provide attentive and dependable care for your babies! I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they get the attention, exercise, and affection they need throughout the day. I am able to follow your pet’s normal schedule, including meals, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any special instructions you provide. I believe keeping a pet’s routine consistent helps them feel comfortable and happy while their parents are away! I do have an orange cat that will be put up in his room while I take care of your babies, so no need to worry about interactions. I also have a fenced backyard so plenty of space for them to run around or go potty. And I live in a neighborhood with good walking trails.

About: Hi, I’m Soraya! My boyfriend Alex and I are lifelong animal lovers who truly enjoy caring for pets and getting to know their unique personalities. We treat every pet we care for as if they were our own and want them to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and happy while you’re away. I’ve always had a passion for animals. In high school, I was involved in FFA and took Veterinary Science classes, where I gained hands-on experience learning about animal care. I’ve also worked in a veterinary environment assisting veterinary technicians in the back, as well as working at a boarding facility. These experiences have given me the opportunity to care for and interact with many different types of animals and personalities. My boyfriend has been by my side throughout my pet-care journey and has joined me for our previous Rover and boarding experiences. He absolutely loves spending time with both dogs and cats and is just as caring, attentive, and affectionate with the pets we care for. Together, we make sure every pet receives plenty of attention, playtime, walks, cuddles, and companionship. We understand that every pet is different. Some are energetic and playful, while others are shy, nervous, or need a little extra patience to feel comfortable. We take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs so we can provide the best care possible. Whether your pet needs walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, overnight care, feeding, playtime, or simply a loving companion while you’re away, we would love to help! We prioritize following your care instructions, maintaining your pet’s routine, and keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind. We genuinely love animals and feel incredibly lucky to be able to care for them. We would love the opportunity to meet you and your pets and become your trusted pet-care team! 💕🐾 With pet care in need my schedule works around your schedule! I’m pretty open and flexible and can make last minute changes if possible. I’m a veteran currently working on certificates from home. When it comes to your pet they will be safely taken care of in your home. They will have all the attention while we are there and every home is left how we entered.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I highly recommend Cassi. They were reliable, communicative, and treated my dog with genuine care and kindness. I always appreciated the updates and photos after each visit, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable with them. It's obvious they truly care about the animals they work with. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dependable dog walker.

Andrew came in and helped us last minute and I’m so grateful. Great communication and he was able to make the dogs comfortable even though we didn’t have time for a previous meet and greet. He sent pics and details and was respectful of our home. I’m so glad we booked him and would book again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
