About: I worked as a kennel tech for a dog trainer for 2 years and have been volunteering with a dog rescue that saves abused and neglected dogs for the past 6 years. These experiences, as well as raising my own dogs, have given me the knowledge to work with most dogs, but my passion is working with fearful, anxious, and reactive dogs. Working on their time to gain their trust is my specialty and passion. I have experience working through basic obedience, counter conditioning, confidence building, muzzle training, gear shyness, and cooperative care. I also have experience working with dogs that require more intensive care due to feeding routines (such as making homemade food or strict feeding schedules with medications) and grooming maintenance (frequent or routine baths due to coat type or skin conditions). Know that under my care, your pup will be with someone who understands them as an individual and can meet them where they are at. For Walks/Drop Ins: I have pretty varied availability throughout the day on weekdays due to my work schedule. For Housesitting: I typically need to be out of the house anywhere from 4-10 hrs depending on my shift at work. Your dog's comfort as well as yours are my top priorities, so I do require a meet and greet before any service I provide. This allows me to meet your pet and see their behavior before a service, and lets you see how your pet feels around me. I provide daily updates with pictures, with the ability to provide more frequent updates at your request. I also strictly follow any instructions and routines laid out for me regarding a pet's care.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs ever since I was 11 years old. I continue to take care of my friends and parents animals when needed. I personally have 2 cats and 2 dogs. I have a geriatric, 16 yo, dachshund/beagle mix, so I can change dog diapers and give meds if needed. I have a full time job and work Monday-Wednesday, so Thursday through Sunday I am very flexible on the needs of my clients. If I have other obligations on those days, my availability will always be up to date. I have 2 dogs for your fur baby to play with, a large fenced yard, and can crate your fur baby if needed. I have an extra large crate if your fur baby needs it.

We also have a cat named Johnny. In the past, our family has had rabbits, a turtle, guinea pigs, and a lizard - so I come equipped with the knowledge to care for multiple species of animals. 🐢 🐶「 ✦ In-Home Boarding Details: ✦ 」🐶 While boarding in my home, crates are used during brief absences and bedtime. This is for the safety of all pets and my household. Because of this, I ask that all dogs in my care be crate-trained. *Rest assured, dogs are never left in crates for long periods during the day, as I am home most of the time*. 🦴 Dogs (and puppies over 18 months) must be spayed/neutered. All must be child-friendly, up-to-date on vaccinations and flea and heartworm prevention, and crate-trained. I will ask for you to provide proof of vaccination records before our meet and greet for the safety of all pets in care. 💕 Working at home, I'm always available for your four-legged family members. Mine love to lay under my desk while I work, and yours are invited to join them! 🐶🖥️🐶 I have a fenced-in backyard and live in a great tree-filled neighborhood for walks! My backyard is shaded and great for exercise and resting under the trees (always supervised, of course).

About: Being surrounded in my home full of paws and claws makes for the perfect day, everyday. With numerous years of experience in caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, rabbits, Guinea pigs and more. When staying in your home; I make sure your pet and their safety and well being is number one. Meals are giving on time and ample amounts of potty breaks through out my stay. If any medication or special care is needed I can preform those on their schedule. I am able to accommodate low and high activity animals and their activities such as walks, fetch, just pets and loves. Whatever their heart desires. Clean ups are a breeze wether it’s pooper scooper duty or mild house cleaning/care. I am here to make life a bit easier while you’re away. If there is an extended stay and mail and/or trash cans need to be taken in and out that isn’t a problem while I’m caring for your fur baby.

About: I have grown up my whole life with dogs . I pay very close attention to their needs and will make sure that they get the attention they deserve . If they get dirty while on my watch , I will make sure they are returned clean to you . I had a dog watching business during my 4 years of college and would like to continue Post-Grad. I work from home full time so I will be able to play and walk your furry friend often . I always keep a stash of treats and will willingly give out cuddles and belly rubs. My dog is very friendly and loves other dogs. He would love a friend to play with while I’m working . I have a pet of my own that I care for daily . I walk him 3-4 times a day on my work breaks and we go to the dog park on my off days . I have a large fenced yard that can work for a lot of outside playtime and frequent potty breaks ! There is plenty of space to have the zoomies and a water bowl to stay hydrated .

About: I'm new to Rover but NOT new to watching/caring for animals! I've taken care of animals for a long time. I grew up on a farm, and did chores for the chickens, sheep, horses, and of course, dogs! I now pet sit for friends and colleagues' cats and dogs. My husband and I don't have my own animals right now, so we enjoy getting to take care of other people's fur babies. I currently work part time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I like to know your expectations, and make sure you and your pet get exactly what you need! I have watched dogs in my apartment on multiple occasions. The apartment complex is dog friendly, with doggie bags on the sidewalk and a nice little dog park as well!

“My Bailey's home away from home!! Ok so a little background- my dog Bailey is a rescue who was physically abused by her previous owner. For this reason, she is utterly terrified of new people because she has a natural distrust for people following early life events. Kristen and her family originally spent time coming to my house to walk Bailey and spend time with her, and Bailey had been doing well with the new dog walkers! However, after learning about Bailey's concerns, Kristen thought it may improve Bailey's situation to have her spend the day at doggy daycare, and let me tell you, she and her family have done an amazing job taking care of Bailey!!! I've never seen her so happy every day when I come to pick her up (and probably even more happy to be dropped off :P). It's only been a few weeks and I can already tell Kristen and her family are making her feel at home away from home, and carefully allowing her to interact with other dogs and humans when Bailey is ready. I've been absolutely overjoyed seeing her improvement in socialization skills, and, really, just how happy and comfortable she is; makes my day! On a side note, following several meetings with a Behavioralist, I'm actively training her to help improve her anxiety and fear toward people. Kristen understands how important this is and has been ensuring Bailey is trained (in the same way I'm training her for continuity sake) while at doggy daycare, since I don't have the opportunity to train her several times throughout the day during the work week. Her obedience has improved, and better yet, she's starting to see new people with a different outlook; she's excited to make new friends! Thank you Kristen!!”

I have 2 dogs and 2 kids who love having extra friends to play with and a big backyard for your furry friend to enjoy! I work part time and the rest of my schedule I’m a stay at home mom.
