About: I've been working with animals for the past 5 Years! I started as a dog daycare attendant for a year where I learned how to read dog body language and behavior as well as how to handle emergency situations with dogs. I then became a full time pet sitter on my own and would watch all kinds of animals from household reptiles, small animals, cat, and of course dogs! After 1 year of this I switched to part time sitter to become a full time dog trainer! I trained for a year before becoming a manager at a pet hotel. I love my job to this day and still care for dogs and cats at my current job! I'm currently a stay at home mom for my babies so I am always home a ready to provide care! I usually (as weather permits of course) take a morning walk between 8-10am with my dog and my boarding friends, hang out around the house and backyard until our evening walk before bed around 8-10pm after the sun is down! I am constantly boarding dogs in my home so I do have extra crates if needed otherwise I only have 1 dog of my own who is a St. Bernard and is pretty lazy so he will be there to keep my boarding dogs company but also knows to nap if the other dogs need a break from playing. When I go to clients homes I always find a way to occupy my time with my clients and keep my attention on those animals!

About: I worked as a kennel tech for a dog trainer for 2 years and have been volunteering with a dog rescue that saves abused and neglected dogs for the past 6 years. These experiences, as well as raising my own dogs, have given me the knowledge to work with most dogs, but my passion is working with fearful, anxious, and reactive dogs. Working on their time to gain their trust is my specialty and passion. I have experience working through basic obedience, counter conditioning, confidence building, muzzle training, gear shyness, and cooperative care. I also have experience working with dogs that require more intensive care due to feeding routines (such as making homemade food or strict feeding schedules with medications) and grooming maintenance (frequent or routine baths due to coat type or skin conditions). Know that under my care, your pup will be with someone who understands them as an individual and can meet them where they are at. For Walks/Drop Ins: I have pretty varied availability throughout the day on weekdays due to my work schedule. For Housesitting: I typically need to be out of the house anywhere from 4-10 hrs depending on my shift at work. Your dog's comfort as well as yours are my top priorities, so I do require a meet and greet before any service I provide. This allows me to meet your pet and see their behavior before a service, and lets you see how your pet feels around me. I provide daily updates with pictures, with the ability to provide more frequent updates at your request. I also strictly follow any instructions and routines laid out for me regarding a pet's care.

About: I've been raised around pets my whole life. There has not been a point in time when I didn't have the responsibility of caring for a dog or cat. I currently take care of our family cat, Vogue. I have been in care for dogs for years, including our Cane Corso! Though I have my availability as open daily, Monday-Friday I’m available from 5PM-10PM and Sundays 6AM-10AM. Saturdays will be subjective to availability, so please inquire! Since I only offer dog walking, the most I can say here is that my home is pet friendly with enough space for my family and my cat!

“My Bailey's home away from home!! Ok so a little background- my dog Bailey is a rescue who was physically abused by her previous owner. For this reason, she is utterly terrified of new people because she has a natural distrust for people following early life events. Kristen and her family originally spent time coming to my house to walk Bailey and spend time with her, and Bailey had been doing well with the new dog walkers! However, after learning about Bailey's concerns, Kristen thought it may improve Bailey's situation to have her spend the day at doggy daycare, and let me tell you, she and her family have done an amazing job taking care of Bailey!!! I've never seen her so happy every day when I come to pick her up (and probably even more happy to be dropped off :P). It's only been a few weeks and I can already tell Kristen and her family are making her feel at home away from home, and carefully allowing her to interact with other dogs and humans when Bailey is ready. I've been absolutely overjoyed seeing her improvement in socialization skills, and, really, just how happy and comfortable she is; makes my day! On a side note, following several meetings with a Behavioralist, I'm actively training her to help improve her anxiety and fear toward people. Kristen understands how important this is and has been ensuring Bailey is trained (in the same way I'm training her for continuity sake) while at doggy daycare, since I don't have the opportunity to train her several times throughout the day during the work week. Her obedience has improved, and better yet, she's starting to see new people with a different outlook; she's excited to make new friends! Thank you Kristen!!”

About: I have been an ongoing volunteer at the Animal Defense League of San Antonio since I was about 9 y/o, taking the dogs on walks and socializing the cats and kittens. I have thorough knowledge and experience with raising and fostering kittens, as well as dogs just under 1y/o. I've owned and fostered cats and dogs at varying life stages, throughout my entire life as well. I am well experienced and knowledgeable in animal care and the handling of a myriad of pets and wildlife. While currently also shadowing a very experienced and accredited dog trainer, I am definitely confident in my ability to provide extra care and love for your sweet, fur-babies. Currently, I am in-between jobs, so I as long as I have about a day's heads-up, I'm usually free pretty much any day to care for you furry friend. I perfer to start my work day around afternoon to late afternoon, though morning time isn't a deal-breaker. After meeting and getting acquainted with your fur-baby, I'd appreciate it if, after being told everything you want me to be aware of your pet, you were to also write down detailed notes about your pet's daily routine; feeding times, what food/treats they are and aren't allowed to comsue, common behaviors, what they're allowed and aren't allowed to do around the house, any necessary medications (if any), etc.

If any medication or special care is needed I can preform those on their schedule. I am able to accommodate low and high activity animals and their activities such as walks, fetch, just pets and loves. Whatever their heart desires. Clean ups are a breeze wether it’s pooper scooper duty or mild house cleaning/care. I am here to make life a bit easier while you’re away. If there is an extended stay and mail and/or trash cans need to be taken in and out that isn’t a problem while I’m caring for your fur baby.

About: My goal is to make sure your babies feel safe and genuinely cared for while you’re away so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a college student with a highly flexible schedule, I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I plan my days around their needs whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply keeping them company. It’s important to me make sure every pet feels loved and attended to while their family is away. I carefully follow each pet’s usual routine including feeding schedules, exercise, medication, and any special instructions to help keep their experience as stress-free as possible. I have a dog-friendly yard for outdoor time with plenty of space for crates, cages, or litter boxes if needed. I have multiple rooms available in my home for pets who may need a quiet separate space to gradually get comfortable before interacting with other pets or exploring the home. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have watched countless friends and families pets for them. I have 2 dogs and 2 kids who love having extra friends to play with and a big backyard for your furry friend to enjoy! I work part time and the rest of my schedule I’m a stay at home mom. I have a lot of time to dedicate to pet care and my schedule is pretty flexible and can be moved around if necessary: I have 2 dogs, a golden retriever and a Shiba mix, who love having dog friends over to play with! I give them a lot of attention and active play! We try to go on walk at least once a day and get out to the lake when we can! I will be provide boarding, home visits and walking.
