About: I will take great care of your fluffy! I have had years of experience with both house pets and farm animals! I’ve spent many years working on farms and have worked professionally as an in-home pet sitter for two years. I’ve had experience with elderly animals, puppies/kittens, special needs animals, and with administering medications. I am home full time, with plenty of availability to care for your fur babies! The backyard is fully fenced and there is a dog park close by! We have a spacious house that your pup is free to roam. The backyard is medium sized, safe and well enforced. We have a safe quiet neighborhood that is excellent for long walks, and the dog park is only three minutes down the road!

Tim is timely and each dog gets a walk around the block. Our shy dog is improving with routine that Tim gives us each week. Our little dog who is mostly blind loves the walk. This is his chance to get out and smell the neighborhood ❤️

My Bailey's home away from home!! Ok so a little background- my dog Bailey is a rescue who was physically abused by her previous owner. For this reason, she is utterly terrified of new people because she has a natural distrust for people following early life events. Kristen and her family originally spent time coming to my house to walk Bailey and spend time with her, and Bailey had been doing well with the new dog walkers! However, after learning about Bailey's concerns, Kristen thought it may improve Bailey's situation to have her spend the day at doggy daycare, and let me tell you, she and her family have done an amazing job taking care of Bailey!!! I've never seen her so happy every day when I come to pick her up (and probably even more happy to be dropped off :P). It's only been a few weeks and I can already tell Kristen and her family are making her feel at home away from home, and carefully allowing her to interact with other dogs and humans when Bailey is ready. I've been absolutely overjoyed seeing her improvement in socialization skills, and, really, just how happy and comfortable she is; makes my day! On a side note, following several meetings with a Behavioralist, I'm actively training her to help improve her anxiety and fear toward people. Kristen understands how important this is and has been ensuring Bailey is trained (in the same way I'm training her for continuity sake) while at doggy daycare, since I don't have the opportunity to train her several times throughout the day during the work week. Her obedience has improved, and better yet, she's starting to see new people with a different outlook; she's excited to make new friends! Thank you Kristen!!

About: I have been an ongoing volunteer at the Animal Defense League of San Antonio since I was about 9 y/o, taking the dogs on walks and socializing the cats and kittens. I have thorough knowledge and experience with raising and fostering kittens, as well as dogs just under 1y/o. I've owned and fostered cats and dogs at varying life stages, throughout my entire life as well. I am well experienced and knowledgeable in animal care and the handling of a myriad of pets and wildlife. While currently also shadowing a very experienced and accredited dog trainer, I am definitely confident in my ability to provide extra care and love for your sweet, fur-babies. Currently, I am in-between jobs, so I as long as I have about a day's heads-up, I'm usually free pretty much any day to care for you furry friend. I perfer to start my work day around afternoon to late afternoon, though morning time isn't a deal-breaker. I want your pet to experience the least amount of stress possible (especially during the first couple visits), so I try to stick to their daily routine as much as I can. For walks, I am quite comfortable walking bigger dogs that may come across as a lot to handle, despite being of a smaller stature. I have experience with training arduous or physically demanding dogs to walk beautifully on the leash also. As for drop-in visits and sitting, I will always stick to the schedule you provide and the safety and well-being of your pet will always be my top priority.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Adam has been absolutely wonderful with Battle! I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better dog walker. He is dependable, patient, and incredibly understanding of exactly what I was looking for when it came to Battle’s care. One of the things I appreciate most is that Adam never complains about the time, the Texas heat, or anything else—he just shows up ready to take care of Battle. That means so much to me, especially because I wanted someone I could genuinely trust and feel comfortable with. He listens to what I want, respects my preferences for Battle, communicates well, and has been so easy to work with. It’s such a relief knowing Battle is with someone who is reliable and genuinely cares about doing a good job. I’m extremely thankful we found Adam through Rover and would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, accommodating, and great with their dog. Battle definitely found himself a great walking buddy! 🐾❤️

About: I worked as a kennel tech for a dog trainer for 2 years and have been volunteering with a dog rescue that saves abused and neglected dogs for the past 6 years. These experiences, as well as raising my own dogs, have given me the knowledge to work with most dogs, but my passion is working with fearful, anxious, and reactive dogs. Working on their time to gain their trust is my specialty and passion. I have experience working through basic obedience, counter conditioning, confidence building, muzzle training, gear shyness, and cooperative care. I also have experience working with dogs that require more intensive care due to feeding routines (such as making homemade food or strict feeding schedules with medications) and grooming maintenance (frequent or routine baths due to coat type or skin conditions). Know that under my care, your pup will be with someone who understands them as an individual and can meet them where they are at. For Walks/Drop Ins: I have pretty varied availability throughout the day on weekdays due to my work schedule. For Housesitting: I typically need to be out of the house anywhere from 4-10 hrs depending on my shift at work. Your dog's comfort as well as yours are my top priorities, so I do require a meet and greet before any service I provide. This allows me to meet your pet and see their behavior before a service, and lets you see how your pet feels around me. I provide daily updates with pictures, with the ability to provide more frequent updates at your request. I also strictly follow any instructions and routines laid out for me regarding a pet's care.

About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life; absolutely love and adore dogs of ALL sizes. We currently have 4 small/medium fur babies, who enjoy traveling with us in our RV. When they aren't with us we use our go to sitter on Rover, and I'd love to return the favor and be your go to fur baby drop in sitter/ walker! Voted best Sitter in the City, I Shih Tzu not! I currently have a full-time job, mainly free on the weekends or early mornings. I'll do my very best to fit your needs into my schedule. I'm all about communication. Our fur babies are very well spoiled. The older shih tzu has medical needs and is 100% blind. I'll be sure to treat your babies with the love and care just as I do with mine

About: I've been working with animals for the past 5 Years! I started as a dog daycare attendant for a year where I learned how to read dog body language and behavior as well as how to handle emergency situations with dogs. I then became a full time pet sitter on my own and would watch all kinds of animals from household reptiles, small animals, cat, and of course dogs! After 1 year of this I switched to part time sitter to become a full time dog trainer! I trained for a year before becoming a manager at a pet hotel. I love my job to this day and still care for dogs and cats at my current job! I'm currently a stay at home mom for my babies so I am always home a ready to provide care! I usually (as weather permits of course) take a morning walk between 8-10am with my dog and my boarding friends, hang out around the house and backyard until our evening walk before bed around 8-10pm after the sun is down! I am constantly boarding dogs in my home so I do have extra crates if needed otherwise I only have 1 dog of my own who is a St. Bernard and is pretty lazy so he will be there to keep my boarding dogs company but also knows to nap if the other dogs need a break from playing. When I go to clients homes I always find a way to occupy my time with my clients and keep my attention on those animals!

About: 🐾 「 ✦ Hello, Fur Parents! ✦ 」 🐾 Hi! I'm Kimberly, a work-at-home mom with a flexible schedule and a lifelong love of animals. I currently specialize exclusively in drop-in pet care, giving your pets personalized attention while allowing them to stay happy, comfortable, and relaxed in their own home. 🏡💕 I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, so my goal is to make things as easy as possible for both you and them. During each visit, I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and provide plenty of attention, affection, playtime, meals, fresh water, potty breaks, litter box care, and other basic needs based on your instructions. 📷 And yes, you’ll get updates! I love sending photos and visit updates so you can see exactly how your furry family member is doing while you’re away. Be prepared for some very cute pictures! 🐶 Experience With All Kinds of Pets Our own family has included dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, a turtle, and a lizard, so my animal-care experience goes well beyond dogs and cats. I’m comfortable caring for a variety of pets and personalities, from energetic pups who are thrilled to see a visitor to shy kitties who prefer that I earn their trust from across the room first. 🐱 🐾 「 ✦ Drop-In Visits May Include: ✦ 」 🐾 • Feeding and refreshing water • Potty breaks and backyard time • Playtime, cuddles, and companionship • Litter box cleaning • Basic medication according to your instructions • Care for cats, dogs, and many small pets • Photos and updates after visits 📸 • Bringing in packages or mail and other small pet-related household tasks while you're away I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. I’ll take the time to learn what makes your pet feel safe and happy and follow your care instructions closely. Whether you're away for the day, working long hours, or heading out of town, I'd love to help keep your pets comfortable and cared for right where they feel best: at home. 🐾❤️ I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which makes pet care an easy and natural part of my daily routine! 🐾 I’m able to schedule drop-in visits throughout the day and can often accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits. I enjoy getting out of the house, spending time with animals, and giving them some love and attention while their families are away. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break and meal, some playtime, or simply a little companionship, I’m happy to work their normal routine into my day. 💕 Since I exclusively offer drop-in visits, I care for pets right where they’re most comfortable: in their own home! 🏡🐾 I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions regarding feeding, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and household routines. Safety is always a priority. I make sure doors, gates, crates, and other designated areas are secure before I leave, and I’m mindful of each pet’s individual personality and boundaries. I never force interaction with a nervous or shy pet and am happy to let them warm up to me at their own pace. I also send photos and updates after visits so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. 💕

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
