About: Animals have been a big part of my life for over 20 years. I currently have two dogs that I raised from puppies, so I understand the patience, consistency, and attention that great pet care requires. I treat every pet like family and always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I currently work as a freelance software developer, so I have a flexible schedule with open availability for pet care. This gives me the ability to provide reliable, consistent care and be available for walks, drop-ins, and other pet care needs throughout the week. During walks and drop-ins, I prioritize safety by using secure leashing practices, monitoring the environment, and making sure pets have fresh water and plenty of attention. I also provide regular updates with photos so owners know their pets are being well cared for. My goal is to make each visit stress-free and enjoyable while treating every pet like my own.

About: I have been an ongoing volunteer at the Animal Defense League of San Antonio since I was about 9 y/o, taking the dogs on walks and socializing the cats and kittens. I have thorough knowledge and experience with raising and fostering kittens, as well as dogs just under 1y/o. I've owned and fostered cats and dogs at varying life stages, throughout my entire life as well. Along with having shadowed a few dog trainers, I am knowledgeable and confident in my ability to care for our sweet, little, fur-babies. Currently, I am in-between jobs, so I as long as I have about a day's heads-up, I'm usually free pretty much any day to care for you furry friend. I perfer to start my work day around afternoon to late afternoon, though morning time isn't a deal-breaker. After meeting and getting acquainted with your fur-baby, I'd appreciate it if, after being told everything you want me to be aware of your pet, you were to also write down detailed notes about your pet's daily routine; feeding times, what food/treats they are and aren't allowed to comsue, common behaviors, what they're allowed and aren't allowed to do around the house, any necessary medications (if any), etc.

About: I'm new to Rover but NOT new to watching/caring for animals! I've taken care of animals for a long time. I grew up on a farm, and did chores for the chickens, sheep, horses, and of course, dogs! I now pet sit for friends and colleagues' cats and dogs. My husband and I don't have my own animals right now, so we enjoy getting to take care of other people's fur babies. I currently work part time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I like to know your expectations, and make sure you and your pet get exactly what you need! I have watched dogs in my apartment on multiple occasions. The apartment complex is dog friendly, with doggie bags on the sidewalk and a nice little dog park as well!

I’m flexible and able to plan my day around scheduled walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays. I’m organized and punctual, so I make sure pets are fed, walked, and cared for on time, especially when they’re used to a consistent routine. Since I provide care in my client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medication, crate use, and household rules. For walks and drop-ins, I prioritize leash safety, secure doors and gates, and make sure pets have fresh water and a calm environment before I leave. During overnight stays, I maintain their normal routine to reduce stress and keep them feeling safe while their owner is away.

About: Hi, I’m Soraya! My boyfriend Alex and I are lifelong animal lovers who truly enjoy caring for pets and getting to know their unique personalities. In high school, I was involved in FFA and took Veterinary Science classes, where I gained hands-on experience learning about animal care.
