About: I’ve cared for dogs in every stage of life, from a 6-year-old rescue to puppies I raised and trained myself. My dogs are housebroken and crate trained, and I’m comfortable reinforcing structure and routines. I’ve also provided overnight care for large dogs with specific medication needs and frequent walk schedules, so I understand the importance of consistency and attention to detail. I’m patient, calm, and respectful of each dog’s personality. My goal is always to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m flexible and able to plan my day around scheduled walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays. I’m organized and punctual, so I make sure pets are fed, walked, and cared for on time, especially when they’re used to a consistent routine. Since I provide care in my client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medication, crate use, and household rules. For walks and drop-ins, I prioritize leash safety, secure doors and gates, and make sure pets have fresh water and a calm environment before I leave. During overnight stays, I maintain their normal routine to reduce stress and keep them feeling safe while their owner is away.

About: Hi pet parents! My experience stems from years of being around so many different breeds of animals. Senior care is by far my favorite. Even near the end, we all crave love. My beloved Samson was given all the care that any senior dog would have wanted-a present,patient, and full-of-love owner. Although, I adore and have a special heart for my senior dogs, I welcome all breeds with open arms. They are truly our angels and would be too lost without them I'm currently flexible to work seven days a week, at all hours. When my weelky routine changes I will let you know as soon as possible. Your trust are in my hands. I currently live in a two bed, one bath apartment. Plenty of space to play or relax depending on the animal.

I’m a veteran currently working on certificates from home. When it comes to your pet they will be safely taken care of in your home. They will have all the attention while we are there and every home is left how we entered.

About: I'm new to Rover but NOT new to watching/caring for animals! I've taken care of animals for a long time. I grew up on a farm, and did chores for the chickens, sheep, horses, and of course, dogs! I now pet sit for friends and colleagues' cats and dogs. My husband and I don't have my own animals right now, so we enjoy getting to take care of other people's fur babies. I currently work part time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I like to know your expectations, and make sure you and your pet get exactly what you need! I have watched dogs in my apartment on multiple occasions. The apartment complex is dog friendly, with doggie bags on the sidewalk and a nice little dog park as well!

“My Bailey's home away from home!! Ok so a little background- my dog Bailey is a rescue who was physically abused by her previous owner. For this reason, she is utterly terrified of new people because she has a natural distrust for people following early life events. Kristen and her family originally spent time coming to my house to walk Bailey and spend time with her, and Bailey had been doing well with the new dog walkers! However, after learning about Bailey's concerns, Kristen thought it may improve Bailey's situation to have her spend the day at doggy daycare, and let me tell you, she and her family have done an amazing job taking care of Bailey!!! I've never seen her so happy every day when I come to pick her up (and probably even more happy to be dropped off :P). It's only been a few weeks and I can already tell Kristen and her family are making her feel at home away from home, and carefully allowing her to interact with other dogs and humans when Bailey is ready. I've been absolutely overjoyed seeing her improvement in socialization skills, and, really, just how happy and comfortable she is; makes my day! On a side note, following several meetings with a Behavioralist, I'm actively training her to help improve her anxiety and fear toward people. Kristen understands how important this is and has been ensuring Bailey is trained (in the same way I'm training her for continuity sake) while at doggy daycare, since I don't have the opportunity to train her several times throughout the day during the work week. Her obedience has improved, and better yet, she's starting to see new people with a different outlook; she's excited to make new friends! Thank you Kristen!!”

About: First, let me say I am a mom of a 5 year old, who has been with me to all my dog training sessions since he was 2 months old. He does not attend all house sitting’s anymore, but may still come with to a few. Meet & greets are always required. Now, I have experience in Positive Dog Training as a dog trainer. I teach basic obedience, advanced obedience and do puppy training. My handling is loving with no negative reinforcement involved. Sitting will be fun and interactive in addition I can even teach them a few tricks to show off to their Pet Parents. Drop-ins are always fun and I love giving each pet love, attention and play time that I provide to my own pets when I stop by. Dog walks are not only beneficial to the dog but to me as well, I enjoy the exercise so when they are happy I am too. Each experience I have with dogs or any animal I believe is a learning one that I am always happy to be apart of. I'm a Dog Trainer, so I schedule in advance for my services so that I know my calendar. If I'm busy at a certain time I make sure there is ample time between clients so that everyone gets the quality they deserve. I am also a mom to a toddler so where I go my son will be staying as well. All dogs must do a meet & greet prior to make sure we are a good fit. For house stays when I am staying over with your pets they are treated the same as mine with full attention and love. They will get cuddles and we'll have lots of fun.
