About: I worked as a kennel tech for a dog trainer for 2 years and have been volunteering with a dog rescue that saves abused and neglected dogs for the past 6 years. These experiences, as well as raising my own dogs, have given me the knowledge to work with most dogs, but my passion is working with fearful, anxious, and reactive dogs. Working on their time to gain their trust is my specialty and passion. I have experience working through basic obedience, counter conditioning, confidence building, muzzle training, gear shyness, and cooperative care. I also have experience working with dogs that require more intensive care due to feeding routines (such as making homemade food or strict feeding schedules with medications) and grooming maintenance (frequent or routine baths due to coat type or skin conditions). Know that under my care, your pup will be with someone who understands them as an individual and can meet them where they are at. I'm currently attending college online, so I'm almost always available during the week, except when I'm taking care of my own dogs. On weekends, I do market events, so I might not have as much availability throughout the day. Your dog's comfort as well as yours are my top priorities, so I do require a meet and greet before any service I provide. This allows me to meet your pet and see their behavior before a service, and lets you see how your pet feels around me. I provide daily updates with pictures, with the ability to provide more frequent updates at your request. I also strictly follow any instructions and routines laid out for me regarding a pet's care.

I currently have my own fur friend, a 6 year old Rottweiler terrier mix who’s a ball of energy and the sweetest friend and a 2 year old orange tabby who loves drama. Back in highschool I was attending a vetanarian course and because of that I'm animal cpr trained. My availability is pretty flexible Im willing to work around your schedule if need be! I've worked with a variety of dog breeds and pets and currently have no restriction to what breed you may have. If your fur friend has a strict diet, needs to take their medicine, or just a stroll through the dog park, look no further I'm here to help! I would like to also add that my boyfriend also helps me with pet sitting and accompanies me on most house sitting trips as well so your pet gets double the love. With pet care in need my schedule works around your schedule! I’m pretty open and flexible and can make last minute changes if possible. I’m a veteran currently working on certificates from home. I had a great experience with this sitter! She took amazing care of my dog and made the whole process stress free. Tara is an amazing sitter for our fur babies. She is very knowledgeable and comfortable with the dogs. The dogs loved her from the moment they met her. She was fantastic in making sure our older dog took her medicine. I really appreciate that she took the time to play with them during her visits. John is one of the most courteous and caring people I have met in awhile. Roxie loved him immediately and she is not always loving toward people. She loved his visits and was obviously in great spirits when we got home. I could watch them play in out backyard on our Ring camera.
