About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 5 years and genuinely love spending time with animals. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I always take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I’m dependable, patient, and happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or just lots of cuddles, I’ll make sure they receive the same care and attention I’d give my own. I’m currently home for the summer with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide dependable drop-in visits and dog walks throughout the day. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine, whether they need a midday potty break, a long walk, feeding, playtime, or extra attention while you’re away. I’ll always communicate clearly and send updates with photos after every visit. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. During every visit, I’ll follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), potty breaks, exercise, and any special routines. I’ll make sure your home is secure before I leave and will treat both your home and your pet with the same care and respect I would my own. You can expect reliable communication, plenty of love and attention for your pet, and photo updates after each visit for peace of mind.
“Lauren always does a wonderful job watching my cat, Minnie, when I’m out of town! Lauren is communicative, sends lots of photos, and makes sure Minnie is cared for when I’m gone.”

“Nevaeh was a last minute booking for us. She dropped in twice to hang with our dog and cat. She communicated with us to resolve an issue that popped up. She was very conscientious and our cat and dog were not stressed upon our return. I would highly recommend Nevaeh for her great communication skills and care for our animals!”

About: As much as I love cats , I’ve learned to realized that dogs are really the key to a happy life. While I was living at my mom’s house , we have about 5 rescue dogs. Our most recent dog named Pepper was previously a police dog who was planned to be put down in the shelter. I’m happy we were able to give her a second chance. That fact that shelters like this really make me question humanity and I want to do right for animals. I’ve been walking my parents dogs for roughly 8 years. I enjoy being active and being able to play with dogs really allow me to have a balanced life style. I’ve also trained our 5 year old stubborn Chihuahua how to spin and sit. That is one of my biggest accomplishments for him haha! I currently work part time , around 23 hours a week. My schedule is pretty consistent as I am a barista at a local coffee shop. I’m usually out of work from 11 am - 2pm on the week days. On the weekends I’m free on Saturdays after 1 pm and free on Sundays all day ! At the moment I live with my 2 cats in my apartment! Their names are Fish and Joe. Our apartment is pretty big and I’m hoping my cats will be able to meet yours! We have plenty of stimulating toys and i genuinely enjoy making sure the cats get the mental nourishment they need. They are pretty shy so I’m hoping that I’m able to benefit from Rover to help them become more social! The safety measures I take in my own home consists of a clean empty table ( to ensure nothing gets knocked over ), open windows safety screen up. My apartment complex has its own designated dog lawn/huge grass area so since I don’t have any dogs at the moment I’m able to take advantage of that for your dogs!
“Mckaylee did an amazing job caring for our dogs! She sent daily updates with photos, and it was clear they absolutely loved her. Our dogs usually struggle with separation anxiety and usually don't eat much when we're out of town, but with Mckaylee, they ate every meal without any issues! Highly recommend Mckaylee for any of your pet care needs! 🐾❤️”

“Eboni was amazing! She gave my cats excellent care, and kept me updated while I was away. She sent daily pictures, and took her time getting to know my cat’s personalities (they loved her). I would absolutely book with her again!”

“One of the first people to meet my new puppy & she really took the time to get to know her and us! Extremely communicative and accommodating. Would highly recommend & continue to book with her ❤️”

“Our girls are tough with new people but they LOVED Ashley so much. She played with them and loved on them more than we do and they were so awesome when we got home! They had the best time with her and I would highly recommend using her!!”

About: I grew up on a farm full of a variety of animals! Our dogs, cats, reptiles, and birds have always been more than just pets to me, I see them as companions in life. My sister is also a full-time veterinarian so I know I can always reach out to her for any animal/pet related questions I may have! Another great aspect that sets me apart from other sitters is that I currently have no pets of my own due to my living situation, so I have plenty of non-contending devotion and time to give YOUR pets. I currently only work about 37 hours a week at my job and I am looking to fill my remaining time with opportunities to be outside! Wether that be by walking your active dog or playing catch with your more elderly pup, or even just playing a lot of laser tag with your cat indoors, I am looking for new opportunities to be active and spend time with animals! I have house-sat and pet-sat for many people in many different cities throughout the years. I am very easy-going and good at following directions to the letter. I appreciate written instructions for any pets that require extra care or attention to make sure I never forget anything. I am very good at communicating and sending pictures/videos while you are gone to keep you close to your dear fur friend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bracken. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
