“Claudia was wonderful! She checked in on my pups while I was away for a few hours and took such great care of them. She was dependable, attentive, and communicated with me throughout the visit. “We were looking to board our dogs but the expense was above our budget and because our three pups can be a handful sometimes and are not very sociable boarding was out. Someone told me to check out Rover for a house sitter to watch our dogs in our house. We were skeptical at first because we never heard of Rover and house sitting dogs. Anyway I searched the adds on Rover and found Julie, she had lots of 5 star reviews, many return customers and lived somewhat close to us. I got in contact with her and she stopped by to say hello and set up an hour to meet and greet our dogs. She was right on time and very confident she would have no problems with our dogs, turns out she was right. She handled our dogs like the seasoned professional she is, it was very impressive. we're very thankful to find her and I would certainly recommend her to anyone looking for an alternative to boarding, we intend on using her many times in the future”

“Pat took great care of our three cats. She was very good about checking in with us and gave us lots of photos. We’ve already booked her for more visits and hope she’ll be our regular sitter.”

“Tim is an absolute rockstar with our pups! Even my little timid whippet is comfortable around him and that is no small achievement! I’m so happy that we found Tim!”

“Fantastic. Samantha is fantastic! She’s punctual, warm, and incredibly easy to communicate with. I immediately felt comfortable which is saying a lot for me as Ace’s mom. She’s also very responsible and respectful of my home. Ace loves her and gets sooooo excited to see her on walk days!! Don’t hesitate to contact Samantha—your search is over!”

“Allison was great! I booked her very last minute, and she still made time to come over to do a greet and meet. She’s clearly a dog lover, and our pups instantly fell in love with her. And very affordable rates! 10/10 would rebook in the future!”

“Kristin checked in on our cat while we were on vacation. Usually he hides when we are gone, but he came out and greeted her on a few occasions. Kristin's communication was excellent and she took good care of our cat. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter!”

About: I believe what sets me apart is my experience working in a veterinary clinic, where I’ve gained hands-on knowledge of animal health and behavior. I’m comfortable administering medications, recognizing signs of illness, and staying calm in stressful situations. I’m also very reliable and make sure to follow each pet’s routine closely while keeping owners updated, so they always feel at ease. I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to give your pups lots of attention, play with them, and make sure they’re well taken care of! I’ll be able to keep them company throughout the day and give them plenty of love and exercise. I will always make sure a pet is comfortable in my home. I may live in an apartment, but I will make sure your furry friend goes on as many walks as they want.
“Wonderful caregivers! My GSD and kitty were pampered while I was out of town and I couldn’t have been more happy with who was in my home. Amazing service and will absolutely use again (:”

“My pets were well taken care of by Matthew, while we were out of town. We booked him for drop in visits and he even took the time to come and meet the pets before his scheduled visit times. He also took the best pictures while we were away. Will definitely book again.”

Truly appreciate Savannah and Raul for taking such good care of my animals while I was away. They were reliable, warm, and friendly and such pleasure to work with. I had absolutely no worries about my cats as Savannah and Raul sent pictures and little updates after each visit, which gave me great peace of mind. 100% recommend and would happily book them again!

Avrielle did an exceptional job caring for our kitten while we were away. She was reliable, punctual, and followed all of our care instructions perfectly. We were so impressed with the attention and care she provided, from feeding and playing with our kitten to cleaning the litter box. She even went above and beyond by watering our plants while we were gone. Knowing that our kitten was in such caring and capable hands gave us complete peace of mind. We highly recommend Avrielle!

This was our first time using Jenny and our first time having someone other than family take care or our animals. We felt so comfortable after we met Jenny and she was super helpful and caring tword our needs. She took wonderful care of our pets and I highly recommend her.

Renee is amazing! This is the second time she has cared for my cats and she is great. Renee does such a great job communicating and sharing updates about the pets, I love all the pictures she sends! I know my cats and home are cared for and safe when Renee is on the job :)

Austin was an excellent cat sitter and I gave him 5 stars without hesitation. He was very reliable and communicated clearly and consistently throughout the entire time he watched my cat. I always felt comfortable knowing my cat was in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Austin to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter.

Hannah was great with my cat. He warmed up to her immediately and was great with him while I was gone. I was nervous since it was my first time leaving him overnight, and I was gone for over a week. But he did well under her care. And she went above and beyond by cleaning around his litter box, taking out the litter box's trash when needed, and more. If I need to go on vacation again, I'm glad to know I have someone I can rely on to look after him again.

Ernesto is an awesome pet sitter!! He considered it a challenge to get my cat to like him. He worked hard to make my cat happy! Ernesto is thoughtful and considerate. He is also very professional and trustworthy. Everything was clean when I got home. All went well! I can’t wait for him to pet sit again soon!!

Being an anxious pet mom, Stormy handles the tasks at hand with my babies while I travel perfectly fine. The check-ins and photos put me at ease. I’m not used to leaving my pup alone but I’ve utilized Stormy twice now while I travel for work and she’s been great.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
