“Russell took good care of our dog Charlie and did a nice check-in with him when we had a longer day. He is a calm personality and was super communicative, sending us a couple of pictures and letting us know when he was there and gone. Highly recommend and hope to have Russell help out again.”

“Thank you so much Rachel! She was available at the last minute, timely, and interactive with me :). I really appreciated her help and she took adorable pictures of my girl!”

About: I grew up with all types of different pets in the household from dogs to guinea pigs to birds and even shrimp! So, naturally, I came to love for all animals! Loving them means to also care for them, so I had to provide care for each animal making sure they were properly fed, cleaned, and had a safe environment to sleep. What you can expect from me: * Quick responses * Reliable scheduling * Updates/photos during visits * Respect for your home and routine I currently work part time and go to school full time, but I still have plenty of time to dedicate to the loved animals of San Antonio. I promise to provide the absolute best care to your pets and to your homes. I will make sure your pets are kept safe and properly cared for. I also walk my dogs all the time, so I know proper handling and care when walking a dog.
About: Howdy! I've grown up surrounded by all types of fur babies and have been caring for neighborhood pets since I was about 8 years old. Over the years, I've looked after dogs, cats, hamsters, and even ferrets for friends, family, and neighbors. I have experience caring for pets of all ages, from puppies as young as two weeks old to senior dogs up to 18 years old. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply relaxing, I'll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. I treat every pet like they're part of my own family, and I'll love and care for your fur baby like the king or queen they are. I'm currently a university student with a very flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pet's care. Since I'm not working another job, I'm able to accommodate a variety of schedules, provide frequent potty breaks, and give your pet lots of attention throughout the day. Whether you need daycare, overnight care, drop-in visits, or walks, I'll do my best to work around your schedule and your pet's routine. Your pet's comfort and safety are always my top priorities. I have a spacious, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and go outside whenever they need to. At home, I typically let my own dogs out every 2–3 hours and spend time playing with them outside, so any dogs staying with me will receive the same level of care and attention. I also love taking dogs on walks, especially early in the morning when it's cooler outside, so they can get plenty of exercise without having to deal with the Texas heat. I'll always follow your pet's usual routine as closely as possible and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing they're in good hands.
“Carlos went above and beyond in taking care of our kitties. He also brought in Amazon packages for us that we didn’t realize would arrive while we were away. I highly recommend Carlos!”

“Lili and her daughter were wonderful. They took such great care of my cats, one of which is diabetic while we were away for a weekend trip. She sent me lots of pics and updates and really made me feel ok with leaving my cats for a couple days. Thank you to Li and her daughter for everything.”

“Lauren was great!! She took great care of our kitty and was always on time and sent us tons of pictures. She even offered to come and do a meet and greet before our booking so that she could get to know us. We 100% recommend Lauren to take care of your fur babies!”

“Jamie was excellent!!! This was my first time having my fur babies cared for by someone other than a friend/family member. I can honestly say it was a very positive experience. Jamie was very professional and kept me updated with photos. I will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you Jamie!!!”

“This was our second booking with Shaya and she was wonderful with our two pups! I really appreciate her communication throughout the busy holiday weekend. It’s clear from the photos she sent that the dogs were happy and enjoyed her visits. I highly recommend her services!”

“Grace was awesome I have a chow chow and a border collie. I was new to rover and my chow can be shy with strangers at first! I will admit I am very overprotective over my chow since I know he can be a bit special. However, Grace took the time to gain my pups trust and was able to walk them and take them out when needed. She also made sure to take pictures and videos and send them to me.Highly recommend!!”

“Tatiana was great! She was quick to respond to my booking request and communicated a lot leading up to the visit to determine what my cats needed. She documented if they ate, drank, or used the litter box during the drop-in visit, which is more than my other cat sitters have typically done. Based on the photos she sent, my cats were comfortable around her! I will definitely be having her stop by again!”

“Jessie is an excellent pet sitter/Dog Walker. I used her for the first time while I had to go out of town and I had a lot of things on the list that she needed to do for my two dogs. Not only did she do it willingly, but there was nothing she missed that was on the instructions. She let me know if there was any issues and would definitely recommend. She is also very punctual as I try to keep my pups on a schedule.”

“Tim was absolutely amazing. He stayed in contact and I could tell my animals really loved having him there. He was so accommodating. Right before the trip we sadly lost one of our loved fur babies and Tim sent me pictures every day of his grave everyday and still kept his spirit alive and it touched my heart. Would recommend to anyone to have him watch there pets as he was truly amazing.”

“Kami is a busy working mom who accepted our service request due to a last minute cancellation. Kami melded her busy schedule with caring for our two miniature poodles over two days. Her care feedback and visit pictures put us at ease that they were getting quality care. Kami loves animals and it shows in her demeanor and dedication to the quality of care she provides. I will be using Kami again. Thank you Kami!! ❤️”

“John is the best! He took great care of our cats, including one with diabetes. He handled the injections like a pro and kept everything running smoothly. Highly recommend him!”

“Back to the busy season at work, and as always, Victoria is here to save the day. Never have to worry when she’s booked. Plus she gets the most adorable photos of my pup. I’m actually jealous my pup models for Victoria and not me. Lol”

About: Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m a mom of three, a lifelong animal lover, and a dedicated pet parent to four pups—Cookie (Border Heeler), Peaches (Pitbull), Oreo (Poodle) and Sage (Husky)—plus one cuddly cat named Puss Puss. Our home in Bulverde, TX (just 9 miles from 1604 & 281), is a safe, loving space where your pet will be treated like family. As a fellow pet parent, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your fur baby. That’s why I prioritize comfort, safety, and personalized care—just like I would for my own. 🐾 What to Expect: • Your dog will enjoy companionship with my pups and plenty of playtime. • Potty-trained dogs can roam the house; those still learning will stay in our large, gated kitchen (no all-day kenneling here!). • We have a spacious, fenced yard for daily supervised outdoor time. • We go on daily walks/runs, and your pup is welcome to join! • Pets are never left outside unattended. • I can ONLY host dogs who are comfortable with children, due to my three kiddos at home. If you have questions about care needs or dates, feel free to reach out—I’d love to make sure we’re the perfect fit. I can’t wait to meet your pup! Your Pet’s Comfort is My Priority I currently work from home, which allows me to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. Pets are welcome to stay with me in my home office for companionship, or if they need a bit of space, I can set up a quiet, comfortable playpen area for some alone time. On weekends, we’re typically home unless otherwise noted in my availability or discussed with you in advance. I value transparency and clear communication—if you ever have questions or specific needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Your peace of mind and your pet’s well-being are always my top priorities. A Home Full of Love, Play, and Tail Wags I live in a home with a spacious, fully fenced yard—plenty of room for safe outdoor fun! Your pup will be welcomed into our family by my three friendly, playful dogs who love making new friends. Whether it’s chasing toys, sunbathing, or just romping around together, your dog will enjoy a full day of companionship, exercise, and joy. They’ll go home happy, loved, and ready for a good nap—every single time. Regarding In-Home Care At this time, I’m not able to accommodate overnight stays in your home. However, I’m happy to discuss alternative care options that still meet your pet’s needs—such as early arrivals at your home and late departure for the night. Let’s chat and find the best solution for you and your furry family member if care in my home is not an option.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Timberwood Park
Rachel was fantastic. She went above and beyond what she was hired for and I appreciate her so much fo it. I unfortunately wasn’t able to communicate as much as I would have liked to with her (not her fault but mine) but she still took care of all my pets flawlessly.

Lili and her daughter were wonderful. They took such great care of my cats, one of which is diabetic while we were away for a weekend trip. She sent me lots of pics and updates and really made me feel ok with leaving my cats for a couple days. Thank you to Li and her daughter for everything.

It was such a pleasure meeting Paula. She cared for our 4 cats while we were away. She did a phenomenal job. She followed instructions precisely. She is very dependable and reliable. We recommend Paula for any and all pet care. Trust me…you will be happy you chose her!

Diana is an awesome sitter! She kept me updated on how my pets were doing through text and photos, took amazing care of my pets, and I came back home to happy kitties. If you have shy pets, Diana is the right sitter for that too! My shyest cat came out upon hearing her voice and loved how gentle Diana was towards her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Timberwood Park. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
