It was the first time I was leaving them in a while given that one of my cats went on subcutaneous fluids. I was ?very anxious about him potentially missing his night time dose so, despite the long commute, Monica came for the M&G and a second visit for extra practice with the injection. For the stay I was willing to work around her work schedule with a dog walker, but she was lovely enough to take most of the days off so that she could fully focus on the crew. During my time away I got plenty of updates and I came back to a clean apartment and content animals.”

About: Elvis, a 14lb shi-poo and his two new buddies, Tucker and Nanook, love having other puppy guests over since his big brother passed on. We are very active and enjoy going for long walks and finding new things to sniff. The house is open with plenty of space to lounge on. The house is tiled except for the guest bedrooms and pretty puppy proof with a close of a few bedroom doors and a blanket on the couch. The pups have full access to a fenced outdoor space where squirrel and bird activity can be found in the mornings. I have had dogs since I was 7 years old and I volunteered at shelter for many years. I grew up with animals of all kinds on a farm in Vermont and its just my way of life. Furry friends are the best! I will cherish yours as much as I cherish mine. Please note that I prefer only weekend stay-cations for your pup but can do mid week if we arrange with enough advance notice. I have a pretty flexible schedule and my husband works from home. The dogs will get plenty of belly rubs and love. Since, we have three of our own, we are very prepared for any doggie need I have a fenced in yard and we we generally keep the dogs corralled to wherever we are or in the non carpet areas. We are happy to crate, if you bring one. Dogs can go on furniture (up to 25lb)

About: I have had four dogs over the years along with over 100 fosters over Covid. Even after Covid, we still take in puppies every once in a while, although recently, we just got a new puppy. I am extremely flexible with my schedule currently , and will be for majority of the summer. I don’t mind housesitting and I don’t mind learning new things to take care of different pets. I also have experience with reptiles as I used to have a bearded dragon. Although, sadly, we had to rehome because of his health issues 🥲. I have no permanent job, although I will be taking time over the summer to spend with my family. All I ask is that you give me a heads up on when and where you need me. Two of my current dogs are very low maintenance, as Rusty has gotten older he has gotten arthritis so we go on as many walks as he can tolerate. Austin is the definition of a couch potato. Jessica is a wonderful pet sitter! She was very kind and patient with my 4 crazy dogs and they adore her. She also kept my house clean and tidy, which is a lovely thing to come home to. With our permission, she brought her own dog to stay at our house, because she was house sitting and it was easier that way. Her dog, Daisy, looks intimidating but is a very sweet dog and she got along fine with my dogs. We ended up having to extend our stay overseas because I was not well, and Jessica took care of everything with no problems at all. I recommend her very highly!
