About: I have a lifelong passion for animals and grew up surrounded by dogs, which taught me the responsibility and patience required to be a great caregiver. My experience ranges from energetic small breeds to powerful large dogs, so I am comfortable and confident handling pets of all sizes. I also have a soft spot for senior dogs and understand the gentle touch and extra attention they often need to feel safe and comfortable. Whether your pet needs a high-energy walk to burn off steam or a calm presence to sit and play with them at home, I prioritize their safety and happiness above all else. I pride myself on being reliable and attentive to each dog’s unique personality and routine. I’m excited to provide your pets with the same love and care I’ve given my own throughout my life! I have a very pet-friendly schedule! I work from home every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, which allows me to provide your pet with constant companionship and potty breaks throughout the day. While I am typically in the office on Mondays and Fridays, I have the flexibility to work from home on those days as well with a little bit of notice. Your pet will rarely be alone. Because I don’t currently have pets of my own, your pet becomes my sole priority and receives my 100% undivided attention. In your home, I focus on maintaining their established routine to keep them stress-free. Whether it’s high-energy walks and active play or simply hanging out in their space to provide a calm presence, I adapt to their vibe. I’m happy to offer a 'hands-on' approach for cuddlers or a hands-off approach for more independent pets, and I am always flexible with special accommodations to ensure they feel safe and cared for.
“Velma was great with both of my dogs, she kept me updated with photos and messages. She hand feed them a few times since they didn’t want to eat on their own. She did very good taking care of them.”

“Ben was absolutely fantastic. I have used him since this stay and am so happy to have found him. My dogs get so excited when he visits. He is the best!!!!”
“Diana is so amazing! Her and her husband came to the house to check on my 3 pups while I was on a camping trip and my pups loved them! I loved getting the pictures and notes while I was gone too. So thankful to Diana and her husband because I was so stressed about getting a sitter, but she's perfect! Definitely recommend and will be using her again. Thank you!! 💕”

“Philana is a true professional while also being very personable. She took great care of my 3 cats, plants, and was considerate in brining in a delivery. I booked with her very short notice, the day before, and she truly exceeded my expectations! Very thankful to her and the care she provided. 10/10 recommend!”

“Katie was so sweet with our pups and so flexible with their particular needs, especially our old grandma dog. Her communication is great and you can tell she cares about what she does.”

“She came immediately during my last minute booking and went above and beyond for my pups! She’s a dog whisperer, I highly recommend her to anybody who needs pet services!”

“I never had to worry about the kitties while we were on vacation. Nevaeh went above and beyond when one of the cats was being super sneaky and she was able to capture him on camera for us to ensure he was in the house (he's really good at hiding). We will definitely be booking with her for future trips!”

“Brianna was such a life saver. I know it can be overwhelming with my pit bulls but she handled everything so gracefully. One of my pups had an accident in her cage which is so unusual but Brianna went above and beyond to clean her and the cage out for me. I’m blessed to have had an amazing Rover helper. She is awesome! She adjusted to the pups so well. I’m sure they miss her already! Will definitely recommend her services!”

About: I grew up on a farm caring for a variety of animals. I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own as well as a tortoise and lots of fish! I have experience pet sitting for family and friends and neighbors. I am able to care for babies as well as seniors. I'm not certified but I've trained my own pets along with my family's pets. I am currently a grad student and work part-time, I am available to work all day Monday, mornings before 9am Tuesday-Friday and evenings after 4:30pm. Sometimes my school schedule may change but I'm always going to communicate changes to my schedule! Weekends are available if needed. I have a system with my babies, they eat twice a day in the morning and evening. I usually let them run outback and they play with the dogs on either side of my house. One cat likes to go outside occasionally, but otherwise they stay with me and I'll play with them while I do schoolwork or relax. I love taking my dogs on walks and playing with them as well.
“Jessica was amazing!!! My puppy is 4 months old and gets shy around new people. She warmed up to Jessica quickly and had my puppy playing fetch 🩷 Jessica’s communication was great and I appreciated any updates. Jessica even warned me about some pecans she saw in my backyard and how dangerous they can be.”

About: I love animals! I've worked and volunteered as a kennel tech. I'm experienced in bathing, administering medicine and dog walking. I am also experienced in nail trimming and will gladly do so upon request. I can also provide enrichment activities like a baby pool during the hot months or simple yet classic fun like a game of fetch. I also have two loving dogs at home so while your dog is here he/she will be getting lots of socialization and play time! I've always had pets growing up, they are apart of the family so I understand how important their care is while you are away. I'm home full time so my schedule is very flexible and you can reach me at any time to check in on the status of your pet or to add on extra services while they are in my care.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Windcrest
Adrianne and Teanna were so wonderful! We were anxious about using a pet sitter but they made the experience so easy and enjoyable. They kept our two pups and one cat happy with their drop-ins multiple times a day while we were away. Always on time, they sent lots of photos, and our house is as clean as we left it. We’ll definitely request them again in the future. 😊

I travel entensively for work and was in the middle of moving when I coordinated with Katie. She was very flexible and understanding even though I had a few problems with access for her that didn't get solved until about one day before I had to fly out of town. Katie was very communicative and shared lots of pictures and videos of Puddin. He was very happy with Katie's care. He looked surprised to see me when I got home from my trip! During one of the last visits, the apartment complex towed Katie's car, which was unexpected. She let me know what happened and how she dealt with it. I am reaching out to the rental company to find out how to avoid this in the future. Do not hesitate to use Katie's services. If the opportunity arises, I will definitely hire her again! She is Puddin approved!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
