About: I have always had pets, specifically indoor dogs and cats. I also have 2 years experience as a kennel tech at a boarding/grooming facility where I worked with dogs of all sizes, cats, reptiles, rabbits and other small mammals. I am comfortable with any size dog and most temperaments. Each dog deserves care and attention, I am well aware that certain breeds have more difficult personality traits (and for good reason, too!) so just let me know what your dog needs and I will accommodate. Regarding dog walks: I am not currently booking for dog walks due to a torn ligament in my ankle. I am still capable of drop ins, boarding, etc. as I am healing, but walks are on hiatus for a few weeks! I am stable/sturdy - just in a boot. I work full time but am available after 5pm on weekdays. I do have a flexible schedule so if you need something, I may be able to accommodate if I can work from home! I have open availability on the weekends. As someone with kennel tech experience, I am very comfortable crating dogs and taking them for walks, playing as much as they want, and adjusting to their specific needs. I also have experience administering medication, both oral and injections.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life- dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, rats, hedgehogs, etc. Anyone who knows me knows I have such a big heart for animals and am truly amazed by them. I am currently in school to get my degree in biology to use to work at the San Antonio Zoo in animal conservation. I travel entensively for work and was in the middle of moving when I coordinated with Katie. She was very flexible and understanding even though I had a few problems with access for her that didn't get solved until about one day before I had to fly out of town. Katie was very communicative and shared lots of pictures and videos of Puddin. He was very happy with Katie's care. He looked surprised to see me when I got home from my trip! During one of the last visits, the apartment complex towed Katie's car, which was unexpected. She let me know what happened and how she dealt with it. I am reaching out to the rental company to find out how to avoid this in the future. Do not hesitate to use Katie's services. If the opportunity arises, I will definitely hire her again!
