Hi! My name is Cera, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have several years of experience caring for dogs and cats, both personally and professionally. I currently work in veterinary medicine, which has given me extensive experience handling animals, monitoring their health, and administering medications when needed. My love for animals started early while volunteering at a nonprofit animal rescue organization in Savannah, GA, where I also earned my Girl Scout Gold Award. Since then, I’ve continued working with animals and have experience caring for pets with a variety of needs, from energetic dogs that love long walks and playtime to senior pets who need a calmer environment and extra care. I enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs, whether that’s going for walks, playing fetch, or just giving them plenty of attention and affection. I also adore cats and have grown up with them my whole life, so I’m very comfortable caring for feline friends as well. My goal is always to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

We had an amazing experience with Cera and would absolutely book her again! She stayed at our home while we were out of town and took exceptional care of all of our pets. She sent plenty of thoughtful updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. One thing that really stood out was how attentive she was to our elderly cat’s medical needs. She administered his inhaler exactly as instructed and followed every detail of our care instructions to a tee. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after and takes her responsibilities seriously. When we returned home, the house was spotless and everything was exactly as we had left it. Cera is kind, detail-oriented, professional, and incredibly reliable. We felt completely comfortable trusting her with both our pets and our home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and compassionate!

Cera was great with our cats! She sent me updates and let me know how they were doing while we were away. She made sure to give one of my cats their medicine and spent some time playing with both of them. Would highly recommend.
This is the second time Cera has watched our pups and one of them ended up having to go to the er the night before we were supposed to leave, thankfully all was fine but he needed meds and a bland diet the whole time she was here. She handled the diet and monitoring so well, I checked in on them a lot more this time and she sent lots of pictures!
Cera was absolutely amazing with our two fur babies. She did fantastic with making sure our cat got his medication and was super responsive. She even went above and beyond when we had an issue with our AC. I 100% recommend Cera and will definitely be using her in the future!
Cera is the best dog sitter we’ve found anywhere! She communicates very well and sends updates often! I think she went to the house 4 times a day for roughly an hour each, she played fetch with them, I’m sure she loved on them. We’ve already hired her for our next trip!

Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work remotely in veterinary medicine, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and spend a lot of time at home. Because of this, I’m able to give pets consistent attention throughout the day, whether that means feeding, playtime, walks, or simply keeping them company. I structure my day so that pets are checked on regularly and their needs are met on schedule. I also enjoy incorporating pet care into my routine, such as taking dogs on walks or spending quiet time with cats. My flexible work environment allows me to be attentive and responsive to each pet’s individual needs while ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully for feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any special care requirements. My goal is to help pets feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away. I also make sure pets always have fresh water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention and companionship. If I am caring for pets in my home, I create a calm and safe environment where they can relax and feel at ease. I provide regular feeding, exercise, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and comfort level to ensure they are happy and well cared for. Communication with owners is very important to me, so I’m always happy to provide updates and photos while they are away.

A typical day
I enjoy making sure pets stay active, happy, and engaged while their owners are away. For dogs, this often includes walks around the neighborhood so they can explore and get plenty of exercise. If your dog has a lot of energy, I also enjoy taking them on runs to help burn off that extra energy. I also like to spend time playing games such as fetch or other interactive activities that keep dogs mentally stimulated. For more relaxed pets, I’m always happy to spend quiet time with them as well. For cats, I enjoy engaging them with toys, playtime, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. Every pet has a different personality, so I always adjust activities to match their energy level and comfort so they feel happy and cared for.
