About: I’ve always loved animals and have cared for dogs of all ages and personalities. I’m very patient, gentle, and make sure every pet feels safe and loved while their owner is away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or quiet snuggles, I give each animal the love and attention they deserve. I truly treat every pet like family 💕 Pet care fits perfectly into my routine because I make my own work schedule and have plenty of flexibility. I’m available on weekdays, weekends, and even for overnight stays. I love spending time caring for animals, so I always make sure to be dependable and on time for every visit. You can count on me to be flexible and reliable with your pet’s needs. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow any instructions carefully, from feeding schedules to favorite walking routes and always make sure they get plenty of love, playtime, and attention. I keep things tidy, send regular updates with photos, and treat your home and pets with the same respect and care I’d want for my own. When caring for your furry family member at my own home, you can rest assured I have a fairly large fenced in yard and will send pictures and videos to put your mind at ease 💕My goal is to make sure you furry kid feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away!
About: I have a lifelong passion for animals and grew up surrounded by dogs, which taught me the responsibility and patience required to be a great caregiver. My experience ranges from energetic small breeds to powerful large dogs, so I am comfortable and confident handling pets of all sizes. I also have a soft spot for senior dogs and understand the gentle touch and extra attention they often need to feel safe and comfortable. Whether your pet needs a high-energy walk to burn off steam or a calm presence to sit and play with them at home, I prioritize their safety and happiness above all else. I pride myself on being reliable and attentive to each dog’s unique personality and routine. I’m excited to provide your pets with the same love and care I’ve given my own throughout my life! I have a very pet-friendly schedule! I work from home every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, which allows me to provide your pet with constant companionship and potty breaks throughout the day. While I am typically in the office on Mondays and Fridays, I have the flexibility to work from home on those days as well with a little bit of notice. Your pet will rarely be alone. Because I don’t currently have pets of my own, your pet becomes my sole priority and receives my 100% undivided attention. In your home, I focus on maintaining their established routine to keep them stress-free. Whether it’s high-energy walks and active play or simply hanging out in their space to provide a calm presence, I adapt to their vibe. I’m happy to offer a 'hands-on' approach for cuddlers or a hands-off approach for more independent pets, and I am always flexible with special accommodations to ensure they feel safe and cared for.
“I am so happy to have Angela cat sit for us! This is the second time we have had her watch our cats, and I know from her updates that they are well looked after. So lucky to have found her on Rover!”

“Amanda was quick to respond and totally helped me out late notice! I also mistakenly gave her the incorrect address and she was super understanding and took the time to reach out and find the right place without just leaving. Felt totally comfortable with her caring for my pets and would absolutely book again. Thank you!!”

About: Hi! My name is Soraya, and I’m a 28-year-old animal lover with several years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. My background with animals started in high school, where I participated in FFA and veterinary science classes. Since then, I’ve gained professional experience working in both a veterinary setting and a pet boarding facility, giving me valuable knowledge in animal behavior, health monitoring, and daily care routines. I am comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets who may need extra patience and attention. I can administer most medications, including oral medications, topical treatments, and other routine care (excluding injections). Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I strive to maintain their normal routine, provide plenty of love, attention, exercise, and enrichment, while keeping you updated with photos and messages throughout your booking. For transparency, my spouse may accompany me during house-sitting bookings. We are currently in the process of having him added to my Rover profile and are awaiting completion of Rover’s background check process. He is a military veteran who has successfully completed government background screenings and shares my love for animals. While I remain the sole caregiver responsible for your pets and booking services, I believe in being open with pet parents about who may be present during a stay. I have experience working with pets of all ages, sizes, and energy levels, and I understand that every pet has unique needs. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’ll provide attentive and compassionate care as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! With pet care in need my schedule works around your schedule! I’m pretty open and flexible and can make last minute changes if possible. I’m a veteran currently working on certificates from home. When it comes to your pet they will be safely taken care of in your home. They will have all the attention while we are there and every home is left how we entered.
“Diana was an excellent sitter to our two kitties. She arrived promptly, fed them wet and dry food, played with them, cleaned their litter and even brushed them for us. She even accommodated a last minute schedule change request. We truly felt like we left our kitties in good hands and she sent us plenty of pictures with each check-in. We will definitely be going back to Diana in the future.”

“Pamela went above and beyond while dropping in to care for our elderly dachshund. She was very communicative and super friendly. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing Knox was on good hands.”

“Philana is a true professional while also being very personable. She took great care of my 3 cats, plants, and was considerate in brining in a delivery. I booked with her very short notice, the day before, and she truly exceeded my expectations! Very thankful to her and the care she provided. 10/10 recommend!”

“Velma was courteous and quick to respond when we had a short notice need for a drop in visit. She was very attentive to the needs of our dog, and I would definitely use her again!”

Best person to have watch your fur babies, especially if it is your first time, Amanda was very communicative and letting me know how my babies were doing, and I felt very good trusting her with my fur babies after our meet and greet, I will be booking again in the future with Amanda

It’s been a few months since we had Angela cat sit for us. Since she had been her before, she was ok w us leaving a key hidden and photo instructions since it had been months since she has seen our cats. Cleo always comes out because she is social, but was so thrilled that our shy girl Luna came out for Angela as it takes a few visits. She came out after a few minutes and again today. I always will use Angela for our cats, she’s a great asset to the Rover app! Thank you for the wonderful care, as always!

Adrianne and Teanna were so wonderful! We were anxious about using a pet sitter but they made the experience so easy and enjoyable. They kept our two pups and one cat happy with their drop-ins multiple times a day while we were away. Always on time, they sent lots of photos, and our house is as clean as we left it. We’ll definitely request them again in the future. 😊

Mandy and her husband were fantastic! Our dog and cat loved them. My cat needs two pills a day and can be fussy with it, and Mandy was able to give him his pill with ease. I always received a ton a pictures of our fur babies which was amazing. I definitely recommend Mandy!!

Philana is a true professional while also being very personable. She took great care of my 3 cats, plants, and was considerate in brining in a delivery. I booked with her very short notice, the day before, and she truly exceeded my expectations! Very thankful to her and the care she provided. 10/10 recommend!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Converse. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
