When I'm not teaching, I dedicate my time to your pet, whether that's engaging in exercise or providing quality companionship. Pet Care Overview I have a spacious, dog-friendly home with a fenced backyard. Please note that the fence is chain link; therefore, if your dog is a jumper or escape artist, this may not be the most secure environment for them. Indoor Access & Sleeping Arrangements Pets have full access to the entire house and can use the dog door to go in and out as they please. At night and when I'm away from the home, I secure the dog door for my peace of mind. Dogs are welcome to sleep in my room or in a crate, depending on what makes them most comfortable. If your pet prefers to sleep alone, I can provide a private room. Furniture & Comfort I allow pets to lay on the couch unless you request otherwise.

About: Being a major animal lover, I have had the privilege of raising some incredible pets. Of course the everyday cat and dog, but also farm animals, aquatic pets, reptiles, ferrets, guinea pigs, etc.. I was introduced to 4-H and FFA at a young age, dedicating 6 years to animal care. Having multiple grand champion winning animals, I know the ins and outs. From the time I could drive, I have been the go-to girl all of my friends and family rely on when they need someone to care for their fur babies. I am a full time waitress and part time photographer, so my schedule is never the same. I have plenty of free time and work fairly flexible hours so being available isn’t an issue! My dog is my soul dog, my child, my everything. I understand the trust that comes along with the care taking role, and I take it very seriously. I am very open to your schedule, routine, and rules. About: I've grown up owning cats and dogs my whole life. At 14 my mom got me my own cat which was my responsibility to care for. I'm still loving and caring for her now at 25. Because my cat has medical issues relating to allergies, I am experienced in administering various types of medication to cats. I don't currently own a dog but I do help with feeding and walking for my roommate's dog. I am working part-time in New Braunfels. I usually work in the mornings and am done around 3 or 4. I would be available for drop-in visits before and after work. I am available for house-sitting during the weekends. I can care for your animals in your home. I think communication is important to ensure that both your pet and I have a fun and safe experience. I will feed and walk them to your specifications and change water daily.

About: **CATS ONLY** Due to severe allergies, I can only provide care, sits, and visits for cats. Rover does not currently permit me to use neutral or feline language. You'll see in the Additional Dog Details section, I answer some questions about "senior dog care" or "dog first aid," but each of those answers should be interpreted as the care I am competent to provide for cats only. I am unavailable for any and all care involving dogs or homes shared with dogs. I like dogs very much, but my lungs sadly do not, so any requests involving dogs will be politely declined. Kindly proceed with that understanding. An affectionate and detail-oriented cat carer, I enjoy the process of getting to know new cats and discovering their personalities. I have held a lifelong love for cats since the surprise birth of an entire litter in my parents' bathroom when I was just six years old. It wasn't until the pandemic that I shared a living space with friends and came to love and care for their super senior cat, Stormy. As her medical needs changed, I kept up and discovered a joy for the enrichment and companionship I could provide to an aging cat. Since then, I have worked with up to three cats at a time. They have ranged from the ages of 1-19. I have, successfully and with minimal distress for the cats, administered oral, topical, and subcutaneous medications. I provide exercise and stimulation through playtime, bonding through grooming, and companionship through quality time spent together (overnight sits). Medicating cats goes well for me, I believe, because I take plenty of time to get to know each cat. I learn their boundaries and expectations. I learn what they're comfortable letting their parents do versus what they will permit me to do. I frequently speak with the cats and explain the process of what I am doing. Of course, they don't understand me perfectly, but you'd be surprised what they do understand from tone and body language. Whether you're looking for overnight support for your still-bonding pair or daily medication doses for your senior cat during your summer getaway, I'm more than happy to help. Let's start by scheduling a Meet & Greet, and especially if you'd like your cats medical needs attended to, let's meet at your home. This allows me to greet your cat with you present. That goes a long way when we are alone and its time for them to accept a pill from me. I am available for bookings and meet & greets during and shortly after office hours, or roughly 8am-7pm Monday through Sunday. If you contact me after those hours, I may be available on an infrequent basis or I will get back to you once business hours resume. For the actual cat sits or drop-in visits, my schedule is largely available through weekdays, weekends, and holidays. I regularly update my calendar. I am entirely unavailable for dog care due to severe allergies, so any and all requests for households with dogs in them will be politely declined. Our household cat is not comfortable meeting new cats. Because of this, I will always come to your home and care for your cat there. I am detail oriented, so I will mind your security instructions to the letter to keep your cats safe and sound. It is best to notify me of any alarm codes, key locations, or gate passcodes at our first meeting.

About: I have a dog of my own who is about a 3 years old. We adopted him from the shelter when he was 9 months old, provided leash training, crate training, and taught him basic commands. I grew up on a farm with lots of outdoor dogs as well and truly love being around them. I’m available for weekday and weekend drop-ins and can give your pets walks, play time, treats, and love. I have been babysitting for a family for the last 2 years who had a 6 year old Boxer and provided basic pet care such as walks, bathroom breaks, and feedings. I am a recent graduate from TWU in clinical mental health counseling and not currently working so I have a pretty open availability! I am available for weekday drop-ins, walks, evenings, and weekend visits if needed. The pets in my home receive the utmost amount of love and attention. Of course I will always adhere to any rules and guidelines that are communicated by owners. I love taking my dog to the park, playing fetch, going on runs and walks, and cuddling with him on the couch. I am a big animal lover and think every dog deserves unconditional love.
