“Melissa did an amazing job and we had a stress free time away knowing that both of our pups were in such great hands! Not only did she give us daily updates, but she sent us daily pics to ensure us they were doing just fine! We will for sure be using her for all of our dog-sitting needs! Thank you so much, Melissa!”

“Alix took such great care of our dog! She sent us photo updates and we knew she was happy as could be! She was punctional and picked her up and dropped us off when she said. We will definitely use her again!”

“Very good experience and will definitely be coming back! My dog absolutely loved staying with her and he usually is really very anxious with others. She was very understanding and patient.”

“Clarice and her husband were amazing! Very communicative and loving towards my frenchie. You can really tell that they love dogs and that’s what anybody really wants when boarding their pup. Will definitely choose them from here on out!”

“Skylar is a great dog sitter. Our dogs were treated like family, and they loved their time with Skylar. From daily updates to ensuring they had plenty of playtime, we felt as ease. Definitely recommend Skylar 👌🏼”

“Ms Cindy was a life saver! Another Rover sitter had to cancel the day we were to drop off Aggie for week long trip. We frantically looked for another sitter and found Cindy. She very graciously took Aggie in that afternoon and took great care of her while we were away. Aggie is wary of other dogs but little Danger turned out to be a good buddy and shared his space generously. Thanks so much Cindy!”

“Gina was an amazing dog sitter and I felt so comfortable leaving my senior dog with her. She sent consistent updates and was quick to respond to any communication. When I picked my pup up, she was happy and well cared for. I will be booking with Gina again!”
“My dogs have a dog door and someone home pretty much all the time. They come and go out the door as they please and Cindy was able to provide a similar routine + her dogs = bonus friends! Cindy is a pleasure to work with. She is well equipped for the job and everything went smoothly. I I knew they were in good hands while I was away!”

“I plan on booking Teryca for all of my dog bookings. She's extremely good with dogs. Sent daily pictures and videos, took him to the park for fun time, and even gave him lots of hugs and cuddles. 5 stars all day!”

“Susan was great. She took care of my babies as if they were her own and sent daily updates so I knew how they were doing. I definitely recommend her if you are looking for someone to watch your dog and I’ll definitely be contacting her if I need another sitter.”
“My sweet girl Daisy is a paraplegic and requires extra care. Celeste took amazing care of her and made her feel at home. She sent pictures and updates everyday and made me feel comfortable being away from my girl. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone who needs someone to watch their pup!”

“Molly had a great time this past weekend. She loved Daisy, Agnes and her family. Would recommend her and plan to use her when we go out of town. Thank you for taking great care and loving Molly.”

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life. From participating in 4-H as a kid to working as a veterinary technician and rescuing pets for years, I’ve gained extensive experience caring for animals of all ages and personalities. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I provide compassionate, dependable care—including extra patience, comfort, and attention for senior pets who need a little more love. I work from home Monday through Friday and have weekends off, so your pets will get plenty of attention, companionship, and round-the-clock care every day of the week. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard where they can safely play and explore. My friendly, well-socialized fur baby loves making new friends and enjoys the company of other pets. If your dog is crate-trained or you prefer they be crated for meals, bedtime, or when unattended, I’m happy to accommodate their routine to help them feel safe, comfortable, and right at home.
“Estefani was awesome, you can tell she treated our pup like one of her own! This was a longer stay for Dillon but she gave us daily detailed updates with pictures, and was super accommodating with Dillon's separation anxiety. Loved getting the daily feedback! Dillon also got a parting treat at the end of his stay, I would definitely book again! Thank you for taking such great care of our pup, Dillon has 2 new aussie friends! Thanks again!”
“Lauren was incredible with my three dogs! She had them for ten days and was even flexible when my flight got delayed and I had to add on another night last minute. One of my dogs can be a challenge and I was worried to leave him with someone new. Lauren had him loving her within the first hour and I didn’t have to worry at all. She also sent me lots of updates and photos while I was gone which I loved! I will 100% be booking again!”

“My two German shepherds had a great time with Iuliia during their two week stay. They are high energy and a lot to deal with. I believe they received excellent care and will definitely have them stay with Iuliia again. They got to meet a handful of other dogs. It was much better than having them at a traditional boarder where they would be in a kennel most of the day. I received many great photos and videos during their stay. Thank you!”
“This was my second time booking Cassie and she was amazing on both occasions. She communicated well, she provided pictures and updated me on the status of my dog often. Her response time is remarkable. I will be using her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to sit their dog.”

“Great communication with pictures throughout the stay and extremely flexible with drop off and pick up times. Very clean and well kept house. Katherine was very friendly and answered all our questions that we had.”

“Jan was great! Highly recommended! Jan took such great care of my Siberian Husky! I am so thank I met her and now will have someone I can count on and not worry about my furbaby! Thank you Jan! Blessings”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - New Braunfels
This was the first time we used Autumn, but it won’t be the last. Autumn was wonderful with my girls. Chanel gave her kisses, which she does not do with everyone. The girls loved her baby and loved playing with him in her yard. I would give her more stars , if that was an option.
Maggs was fantastic! This was our first time using Rover and she made the experience extremely easy and put us at ease. She was very communicative and sent pictures of our dog every day while we were out of town. She also has two dogs of her own and a huge backyard so our dog was in heaven. We highly recommend her and will be using her the next time we go out of town.

My husband and I always feel very at ease leaving our fur baby Moe with them whenever we travel inside or outside USA. We always get lots of beautiful pictures and updates from Debora and George. Moe always seems happy to see them and seeing healthy and in good spirits when we pick him up too. We totally recommend booking with them, you and your fur babies will love them!

Leaving my pets is never easy, but Camilea made the whole experience stress-free. She kept me updated with pictures and messages, and I could tell they were well cared for and loved. She made me feel so comfortable while I was away, and I’m very grateful for the excellent care she provided. I would definitely trust her with my pets again! 🐾💙

t’s obvious how much she genuinely cares about the animals she watches. My cats were happy, comfortable, and clearly well loved in her care. She made me feel completely secure and confident that they were in the best hands possible. I will absolutely be booking with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable pet sitter!

Danielle E. Was wonderful, she sent us pictures daily and kept us updated on how our little Chewy was doing. He was well cared for and a very happy boy when we arrived to pick him up! I highly recommend Danielle to others and we will definitely request her services again in the future!!

Anna and her family were incredible! They took care of our babies like we would, sent us plenty of updates and pictures, asked for advice on how to soothe them into the home and calm them when they first got there. And then when our flight was delayed and we missed our connection flight, they kept them for an extra day, even though they had a New Year’s Eve party to host. Their family was also so loving to our dogs, when we picked them up all of the family was sad to see them go and loved on them even for the short time that day they were there for the party. So thankful and will definitely try to book them again!

We had a wonderful experience! Our dog was happy, well-cared-for, and clearly loved during the time we were away. Communication was great, and we received updates that gave us total peace of mind. We came home to a relaxed, content pup, which says it all. We would 100% trust Stuart again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and loving dog care.

She did a great job with our two small Pomeranian female dogs. Seems like they did very well around other animals which I really want them to be around so they learn -.chickens, cats, dog - I believe my dogs had a lot of fun, and were well cared for. Great Job— Thank you

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
