Attention to a dog is a priority.
In the past, I had owned a cocker spaniel that I showed in obedience & she got her CDX. I have cared for many dogs that were on meds and I had to be sure they were given in a timely manner. I have been doing Rover since 2019. Before that I fostered about 10 dogs over the years in my home. I have a good area to walk around. Walks, tho, will depend on weather, heat and my knees. I am retired so I am at home during the day. I really enjoy dog companionship and look forward to having a dog in my home. I do prefer crate trained dogs but that isn't absolute. I must have kid friendly dogs since I have a great-grandson living with me during the week. I look forward to learning about breeds of dogs with which I am not familiar. I do require a meet n greet before booking so do not take last minute requests for new clients. Arranged pick up and drop off at just about any time is good for me. I have a fenced in back yard for pup to run and play. I keep lock on gate so no one can come in without me knowing. I do stay outside with pup when he/she is outside. My front entrance is double doored (front door and storm door) for safety. I also have a gate to entryway. All to protect pup from getting out. I keep water in various locations and treat your pup as my own when I have her/him. Terra is a professional groomer and has been grooming for8 years. She can have your pup looking and smelling good upon pickup. She can give the full treatment or just nails and or ears...a cut or just a bath.

Schedule
I am a retiree and I can take care of your fur baby full time. Terra is also available for grooming in the evening hours. I usually take 1 to 3 pets at a time as long as I am familiar with them and know how they get along with other dogs.

I have a secure fenced yard and also I have an extra barrier before all the doors that go to the outside. In fact my front door has a storm door and also I have a baby gate to protect the entry.
A typical day
I have a great neighborhood to walk in! But walks will depend on weather, heat and my knees. My back yard has an area for running and playing.
