“We are so grateful for Kristen and her family for the wonderful care they gave Brody. They always kept us updated and truly made Brody feel at home. It means so much knowing our baby was in such great hands. I’m so glad we found them on Rover, and we will definitely be booking with them again! 💖”

“Kierra was awesome. She provided me daily pictures with updates of how he was doing and took care of our little spoiled Duke. She gave him his meds, took care of his little rash he had (it was SOOO much better when we got back after 13 days), took him on her errands so he didn’t have to be alone, and most importantly- He was LOVED - I can 1000% guarantee that. Thank you so much, you guys will always be the first ones we ask to watch Dookie again. 🫶🏼”

“Awesome services. She sent me daily updates including pictures of my dog. I was very comfortable with leaving my pet and had no worries the entire time I was away. Definitely worth it and will book again in the future.”

“Tia was great! I hope she’s around next time I pass through town. We were here to see family and couldn’t keep the pets with us. Tia was flexible about drop off times and took great care of our fur babies. Lots of pictures and gave our little chihuahua lots of snuggles. Everybody was happy and healthy when we picked them up. Highly recommended!!!”

“I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!! Tammy was great! We are truly blessed to have met her and to have had her watch our fur babies. We were able to enjoy our time with our family without any worries. She kept us informed of all the fun they were having with pictures and videos. One less worry for us to think about the next time we have to go out of town. Thank you Tammy for all you did for us!”

“Sue was great with Max! Loved the e-mails and pics of him that we received while we were gone. While we were gone, I could feel good about him because he wasn't locked up in some cage at the vet's for hours at a time. He had freedom to walk around and play with Sue's dogs and could even sleep with her. Although I'm sure he missed us, I just as sure that he had a good time also. When we picked him up, he did not seem stressed like he used to when we left him at the vet's. I'm so glad that I tried Rover.com and will definitely be booking Sue for our next trip!”

“Isabel and her family are very sweet. Great communication and patience with our fur babies. Already have appointments set up for the future. She really put me at ease. Very attentive to the animals.”

“Pamela was wonderful she kept us up to date through the day. She also send us pictures keeping us comfortable. It was a pleasure having her pet sit for us. My boys had an amazing time.”

“Dawn was great with my two dogs!! She kept both of them while I was out of town visiting family and was so patient with them. She kept me updated with pictures and videos of them. We met up with her prior to their stay to let her and introduce the dogs to her, which made me feel even more comfortable knowing the person they were staying with on a more personal level. Would have her keep my babies again.”

“Miracle Brianna was taken very good care of.. Danielle paid her great attention and sent me videos and pictures to assure me that Miracle was taken good care. I'm very pleased with the care and concern for my little Yorkie Miracle Brianna. I got confidence in her to take care of her when I need to leave for a while. Thanks Danielle for all your help...”

“Ashley was awesome!!!! They took very good care of my fur babies(3 dogs). She gave me updates with pictures & videos, they are definitely my go to person!!!! I highly recommend Ashley & Christopher”

“Mechea was an awesome booking. She was great with communication and the dogs seemed to really enjoy themselves from the photos and videos that were sent. She was also very flexible with some issues we had with drop off and pick up. I will be using her again the next time I need our boys to be in safe hands. Her dog Rusty was also great company for my dogs. They all seemed to get along well.”

About: I've been working with animals for the past 5 Years! I started as a dog daycare attendant for a year where I learned how to read dog body language and behavior as well as how to handle emergency situations with dogs. I then became a full time pet sitter on my own and would watch all kinds of animals from household reptiles, small animals, cat, and of course dogs! After 1 year of this I switched to part time sitter to become a full time dog trainer! I trained for a year before becoming a manager at a pet hotel. I love my job to this day and still care for dogs and cats at my current job! I'm currently a stay at home mom for my babies so I am always home a ready to provide care! I usually (as weather permits of course) take a morning walk between 8-10am with my dog and my boarding friends, hang out around the house and backyard until our evening walk before bed around 8-10pm after the sun is down! I am constantly boarding dogs in my home so I do have extra crates if needed otherwise I only have 1 dog of my own who is a St. Bernard and is pretty lazy so he will be there to keep my boarding dogs company but also knows to nap if the other dogs need a break from playing. When I go to clients homes I always find a way to occupy my time with my clients and keep my attention on those animals!
The median cost per night for pet boarding in Cibolo is $36

Melissa was amazing I was in a rush to the airport she was able to help me and on top of that her consistent communication was amazing with lots of pics! I went in her backyard she even has a cool fire hydrant like I’ve seen at dog parks I’ve been too, definitely recommend to any and all and I feel lucky I chose her, thank you Melissa to you and yours! 🙌☺️🙌

Charline was great! She excepted our booking short notice and even a short notice extension. My boy had a blast with her and her family. I will definitely be reaching out to her in the future - our boy will miss her! Charline thank you for taking such great care of our baby and keeping constant communication and pictures!
This was my first time leaving my dog with someone outside of family for an extended period, so I was naturally a little nervous. Jan made the entire experience wonderful! Her home was beautiful, clean, and had a great yard for the dogs to enjoy. She kept me reassured throughout my trip with regular pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious that my dog was well cared for and loved while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Jan to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Thank you for making my first Rover experience such a positive one!

Things seemed to go well when we left our two pups a few days for the first time. She had lots of things there for them to play with and do. She had a full house of dogs when we got there drop-off day so it was a bit chaotic and one of our pups was very nervous about it, but seemed happy when we came to get her. Wendy was gracious enough to stay up late on pickup day when our arrival window ended up later than expected, which we were very appreciative for. Daily photos and updates were extremely appreciated as well. She was very good with communication.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
