My passion and dedication to animal welfare translates within my everyday routine. For the past three plus years I have devoted and dedicated my career to the Animal Defense League of Texas as the Adoption Center Manager. Growing up in San Antonio as well as gaining the knowledge I have about how out of hand the stray population is in the South is has helped me come to the realization there are not enough resources readily available within our community to ensure our furry companions lead long happy lives in their forever homes. Rover provides options such as doggy day cares, boarding, and a plentiful supply of readily available dog walkers that are all great initiatives to helping reduce our stray population...an initiative I am proud to be apart of.

Lauren was absolutely incredible. I have a 15 year old Alaska Malamute and I’m extremely selective about who I trust to care for him, especially since we were going out of state which made it even more nerve racking. He has mobility issues, eats homemade food, takes daily meds and requires some extra attention, and Lauren handled all of it with genuine care and professionalism. She kept me updated the entire time with consistent communication and sent several (AMAZING) pictures and videos that clearly showed how comfortable and well cared for he was. She paid attention to his behavior and even reached out to ask about a few things she wasn’t sure were normal for him. That level of awareness and concern is rare and so appreciated. On top of that, she even trimmed his nails while he was there, which was such an unexpected bonus and speaks to how attentive she is. Lauren was also extremely accommodating and flexible with drop off and pick up, which made the whole experience even smoother. I’m very particular when it comes to my dog, especially at his age, and I can confidently say this was the best sitter we’ve ever used. If you want someone who truly cares about your pet’s well being, Lauren is it.
As always Lauren does an amazing job taking care of our sweet cat Lucky. She sends adorable photos and communicates with us during the entire time she is watching Lucky. I definitely recommend Lauren if you’re looking for a pet sitter.

Lauren was very welcoming and communicated well during our pups stay with her. We got daily updates and kept up with our girls daily routine including their vitamins and eye drops. Would definitely recommend her services.
